Time to judge! I'm happy that people entered some last minute entries eventually. {viriss} It's interesting and a fine commander. I'm a bit uneasy with having a limit that prevents number words and a card that literally uses the word number though. I'm also not quite sure whether a god should have some characteristics in common with the already existant gods, like not always being a creature. I can, however, see that this card might just be inspired by the Akan god and, as a card, not really represent a god.
{melono} Cool, a musical instrument is one of the last things I would come up with when designing for this challenge! The card itself also reads interesting. Maybe it could lead to you just sifting your deck for your combo in no time? But that would require you to tap out all the time so it's probably no real issue. The flavor of gaining inspiration or knowledge via music is a neat thing, too.
{FLAREdirector} Artwork and desert-matters are all hits for me. I don't know whether you intended this, but you can choose to exert Dune Protector twice for its last ability, first as a cost and then as part of the activated ability. Not sure if I like this but the card seems a bit weak anyways so why not. Actually, the card just might be a bit too weak, exspecially as a rare. It looks like it's doing a lot of things but in the end, it sometimes gives vigilance to one creature and can tap itself to freeze another guy. 3/4 for five mana isn't mch of a deal either.
{Xenagos} As pointed out, your card violates one of the set limits so I can't let you win even if your card was the best. I liked it, though, as a little twist of Temple of the false god.
{gateways7} I'm no expert at voodoo stuff so I just assume that this fits. The card's really interesting aspect is its power level, anyway. And, man, this is a strong zombie! You get their best creature already attacking and the original card doesn't even go to exile? Very, very strong in my opinion but could be fair as you have to have enough targets and Tauni has to attack.
{Jartis} I personally don't mind some silly cards but this one could be a bit much for me. The first ability means it's tasty, right? But why the second? Why should I put multiple dodos in my deck? All creatures with „your deck can have any number of this“ have some way to make that meaningful. The -5 power would probably cause more confusion than laughs, even though I get the idea. Last but not least, designing according to a specific flavor should lead to cards that in some way resonate with players. Sure, Mauritius might be an African island but I bet almost nobody would see this card and think „Aha, an African setting!“. I, however, like the idea of having a very stupid creature that is just there to be eaten and then have some reason to stuff your deck full of them. I just see no reason for this here.
{And the winner is...} melono!! The unusual take on the flavor aspect of the challenge did it for me. Maybe you could even give us a render next time. Runners up were viriss and gateways7, in no particular order. Thank you all for participating!

ameisenmeister Thanks for the win! I would have made a render if I had been able to find suitable art On to the next triple dog dare challenge! #35 - Even Steven: Your card's CMC is even.
#90 - It's a bird! It's a plane! It's your card! Your card contains the word "flying." (Thanks, monger!)
And for my own challenge: #105 - An exilent card! Your card benefits from other cards (and/or itself) being in exile. (Thanks melono!)You can take my challenge as broadly as you can. Have fun!

I pride myself on my turnaround. Also, I'm pretty sure this is a legal phrasing, on account of Modular Monstrosity.

Made a homage to Illusory Angel. Figured I might as well keep it simple. Wanted to go with an Instant that makes 2 angel tokens with 2 generic cheaper if you have a card in exile, but couldn't find art I wanted to use, so I just compromised with a small creature.

Dust Bounder Creature — Eldrazi Processor Lifelink Put a card an opponent owns from exile into that player's graveyard: ~ gets +2/-2 and gains flying until end of turn. Though Emrakul was nowhere to be found, Zendikar's skies were far from safe.4/5 'Cause I'm all about fair Eldrazi.

Taker of Forgotten Shapes Creature - Shapeshifter Changeling (This card is every creature type at all times.)As long as a creature card with flying is in exile, Taker of Forgotten Shapes has flying. The same is true for first strike, double strike, deathtouch, haste, hexproof, indestructible, lifelink, menace, reach, trample, and vigilance. 3/3

It doesn't necessarily benefit from things being in exile, but rather /getting/ exiled. Hopefully it's close enough.

Does this count? It benefits from being in exile because you get to cast it once more for free..

I'll be postponing the complete judging a bit. I just wrote over half of it down, hit ctrl+c so it wouldn't go away, and that made it go away. So I'm mildly frustrated, and now I don't have the time to finish. I will announce the winner though. Just wait a bit for the long-form judging. The winner is: gateways7 with runner ups being: gluestick248 , digiman , ameisenmeister and Daij_Djan Yes, all of those are runner-ups. Don't make me put those in some kind of order.

Thanks, melono! Alright, here's your next challenge. LIMIT #22: Your card's color identity contains blue. LIMIT #84: You'll go down in history! You card is historic. (Historic permanents are artifacts, legendary permanents and sagas.) (Thanks digiman619!)LIMIT #106: This one's limited edition - your card has a draft-matters theme. (Thanks, Gateways7!)

I'm hoping that an ability that's only relevant in draft is "draft matters" by proxy.

Collision of the Shards Encahntment - Saga (As this Saga enters and after your draw step, add a lore counter. Sacrifice after III.)Draft Collision of the Shards face up. As you draft a card, you may remove it from the draft face down. (Those cards aren’t in your card pool.)I+II+III Reveal a random card you removed from the draft with a card named Collision of the Shards. You may play it without payong its mana cost.

Jartis: If you remove it face down, no one can tell if it's really an instant or sorcery. Also the game won't be able to copy it or check its cmc.

Flo00 Good catch. I should have just grabbed the wording from Animus of Predation. Thanks for the heads up. Edit: Interestingly, the card you made was also on my mind, but I couldn't figure out the best way to handle it XD

Belated full judging ahoy: {FLAREdirector} FLAREdirector - A spin on Cairn Wanderer. But then it has more steps, making it so the card has to also exile the graveyard card for a cost. It’s also limited to only your own graveyard. The addition of transferring the keywords is nice, but it doesn’t offset how costly and slow this card is. Also I dislike that the card has nine sentences of rules text. {viriss} viriss - a 3/3 flying for 3W is viable. The lifegain is good, and probably won’t get too much out of hand. Tap ability is fine too. Main thing that I dislike is that the flavor text talks of a “we” after the ruination, while the card exiles itself as well when creating ruination by exiling and artifact/enchantment. {temawimag} temawimag - This card is too cheap for a 4/4 flyer. Just simply having to pay 4cmc for a 4/4 flyer is already undercosted, but the exile reduction only adds to it. It works for Illusory Angel, because that card NEEDS to have a condition met before it can be cast, which requires a specific type of card to be played, which will probably also cost mana which means the angel can’t come out turn 3. Your card can be played whenever for cheap, and can be more easily played turn 3 or maybe even 2. {Fermat} Fermat - I really quite like this card. I didn’t play during eldrazi’s, but the card conveys what I know of them: expensive colorless dudes with strange destroyal mechanics. The graveyard hate’s pretty cool and can be occasionally quite strong, and the +2/-2 makes sure it can’t get too abused, though still to quite a degree. {gluestick248} gluestick248 - The effects are fun. Exile for drawing cards, and blink creatures to cleanse them. The card draw might be a bit too expensive to be totally worth it as you have to pay this card, need some other creatures on the field, and then as well pay 3WU to get the blink off. Though, the card draw not being linked completely to the ability makes having more exiling in your deck worth the card draw ability. The blink is however the main draw of this card imo, as it allows you to activate enter and exit the battlefield effects in instant speed. Still, also expensive. {flo00} Flo00 - Another take on Cairn Wanderer. This card however is a bit less adaptive as Cairn Wanderer, because, even though it has changeling, it also needs exile, which is rare as a main mechanic in a deck. It also being quite devoted to blue doesn’t help with this, as exile does exist in blue, it is even moreso readily avaiable in white. Still quite a simple and elegant card. {digiman} digiman - Yup, Misthollow Griffin wins, pack it up, gg no re. Back to actual judging: A strong card that depending on the set might be a well run standard card. It’s got nice graveyard hate, nice typically black boosting, and a fun added possibility of flying. Quite strong for what it does, but it being very black devoted makes it accessible only for a few decks. Also nice that it’s quite good both in early game as well as late game as boosters like this more often are. {gateways7} gateways7 - I really like how this card is a little bit simple, but allows for good early game play and late game play, because it gives you so many starting points to trigger other cards: it gives you a disposable token that enters and exits the battlefield. It heals you. It damages an enemy (and it’s creature damage, not lifeloss). And it does so on exile, which is in white’s lane (and sometimes red). It still feels reasonable because it costs RW and is a 1 power 2 toughness creature, though it’ll probably see plenty play as a good card. Also, love how the card looks with fitting art and properly spaced text. Uncommon is also a good fit. {xenagos} Xenagos - Doesn’t feel right within current mtg handling of exile. Exile is a zone that is extremely hard to get out of. Casting from exile is pretty much only done through imprinted cards, or through the card itself like it’s the case for Misthollow Griffin. It’s also the reason that exiling a creature is generally more expensive than destroying it. {boogymanjunior} Boogymanjunior - First things first: too much text. Now that that’s out of the way: the effect feels quite sphinxy, and it also feels a bit weak. It’s stronger in multiplayer, but even then it’s a big gamble as to what cards you’ll be exiling. Also, I really don’t get why the card is Black besides Blue, even though all effects fall within blue’s range. {ameisenmeister} ameisenmeister - I like how high-risk high-reward this card is. It might not see a lot of wins in play, but it would most definitely be fun to play and build around. I can already imagine decks with flashback-based spells being very useful in allowing this card to be played, as you can thin out your graveyard if need be to speed up the process. Some things that make me dislike the card is mostly from the render: the text is 9 lines long, of which three are cut-able flavor text and the card says flying even though the art gives no hint of such. {Jartis} Jartis - It’s a nice fit within commander, as that’s what it’s clearly intended for. The alternate exiley cost is also a nice way of getting it out there despite its high cost (which is a bit too high with also high blue devotion). What I don’t agree with however, is that a blue creature is granting indestructible to other creatures. It’s very not-blue. Moreso it’s white or green. {Daij_Djan} Daij_Djan - The card plays nicely into the flyers-hate of green, and the rebound mechanic is a nice addition to this simple effect, making it even hate-ier. Rebound in itself is also a nice mechanic, though it might lead to confusion that you first exile it, then recast it after which it should (I think) go into the graveyard. Which is quite opposite to the existing and well known flashback mechanic. Oof, that’s one and a half A4 of judging according to Google Docs, in which I decided to write this. Anyhow, this is how I decided winner+runner ups. Hope you are fine with your judging!
