Blue this, elf that, we all have our opinions. And these opinions often guide us in what we would build in a deck. Try to go against it for this challenge: Create a deck using a mechanic, color, tribe, gametype or whatever else, and have that chosen part be something you hate, dislike, or feel like it isn't you. Explain what the disliked part is as well.An easy example would be a counterspell hater making a mono blue control deck. Or a pauper-only player making a pioneer deck. Please remember: You're not allowed to vote for yourselves. |
(2022 Standard)
{Comments}So, it seems that I've been seduced to the dark side. After blowing through all my free Sealed & Draft tokens, spending them all on mono- Control decks with the decent-only-for-Limited combo of Arcane Investigator/ Pixie Guide/ Feywild Trickster, I've built a Control deck for the first time in my life. May it also be the last. This deck and its sideboard have gone through some changes, because like always, I have no earthly clue what the fuck I'm doing when it comes to sideboards, and once again started off by loading it with utter useless crap. It also started out without the Snow package, because apparently, I don't like playing with good, useful, &/or powerful cards. |

(Pauper Commander)
{Comments}I was first planning on doing something like a legacy or competitive commander deck, as I hate expensive decks, but I have a partner pair in my possible pauper commanders list which I have been dreading building, so this is a good time to get those off my list: Elfball. Elves are boring to me. There are some really strong elves, but in pauper commander consistency in getting these is lacking. And the deck for the most part just builds itself: grab the best elves and you're done. I also put in the plunder package so the deck has more card draw and possible sacrifice outlets. (See the instants and artifacts for the plunder package, and you should understand what I mean.) |
