At first wondered about myself, but: Display works from every zone - so you can even put cards from the graveyard or the battlefield "on display". Displaying from the hand in particular isn't much different than revealing, that's true - but even then it'd prevent you from revealing the same card twice if there are two copies of Shadowclaw Bloodletter in the game at the same time, for example.

That's true. And now that I read it again, the card only returns at the end of the turn, so you can't use it for other reasons either. So sade612 , I retract my statement. |

Milling yourself also "reveals" hidden information, so it technically should also count ;-)
