Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! Here we go, competitors: our four-hundred and sixty-ninth challenge!
The winner of the "Limited Designs: Pentafillers" poll was Daij_Djan with... And the challenge issued by our winner was... Recently, I've been a big fan of weird holidays / days of action. Today is June 19 th, which is (amongst other things, partly much more serious) not only National Take your Cat to Work Day but also Garfield the Cat Day. So with two cat-themed celebrations at once, I think we should appease our feline overlords today: Design a cat-themed card!

Granting ward on an activated ability might not work as you intend since you'd need to activate it before it gets targeted; it would kind of do nothing as an effect in response to something an opponent wants to do. You can just say "Until end of turn, counter all spells and abilities targeting ~ unless their controller pays  each time ~ is targeted." Or something like that. |

Multiple instances of lifelink on a creature are cumulative. At the beginning of the end step, if your life total is greater than or equal to triple your starting life total, you win the game. 8/12

Yay, cats! Feline Distraction  Tribal Instant — Cat  When you cast this spell, copy it for each Cat you control. You may choose new targets for the copies. Tap target creature. Sure, there was a battle raging within the town. But one soldier decided the cat he found was more important.

Not sure if it was intended or not, but just as a reminder, phasing isn't considered changing zones, and doesn't trigger ETB effects. |

 As I recently made an uncommon legendary Dog Pirate, an uncommon legendary Cat Ninja is of course the next thing. Now I just gotta make 2 pauper commander decks built with commons created around them. Edit: Thanks for the suggestion, editted it to as long as Edit2: Made some more wording improvements |

You need to add "Prevent all damage that would be dealt to it this turn." to that first ability, as indestructible doesn't stop damage from removing loyalty counters. See Gideon Jura. |

Got inspired by the current two creature types challenge and made this:  Necromancer’s Pet Creature - Cat Skeleton Necromancer’s Pet enters the battlefield with nine lifelink counters. , remove a lifelink counter from Necromancer’s Pet: Tap Necromancer’s Pet and it becomes indeastructible until end of turn. 1/1 Yes, multiple lifelink counters don't do anything extra. Except here they do. |
