Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of each week, a winner will be determined by forum poll. The winner's card will be rendered and featured on the Welcome page, and the winner decides the challenge for the next week's Contest! Here we go, competitors: our four-hundred and sixty-sixth challenge!
The winner of the "nobody move! I dropped my spark!" poll was BinaryBolas with... And the challenge issued by our winner was... Design a card with two characters combined as a duo, like Drana and Linvala, Halana and Alena, Partners, Thistledown Duo, etc. Note: Double faced card with one character on each side is not recommended; there has to be at least one side with two characters. Cards like melded Brisela can work only if two cards are melded into a card with (at least visually or thematically) individual duo characters.
Additionally, please try to keep your entry edits all in one post - if you need to change it you can put your old entry in a spoiler marked "Old entry" and leave the newest rendition to be seen. Raiden and Blade Wolf     Legendary Artifact Creature — Human Construct  Lifelink, dash Equipment you control costs less to equip. Whenever Raiden and Blade Wolf enters the battlefield, attacks, or blocks, you get  (an energy counter). Pay : Until end of turn, Raiden and Blade Wolf gets +2/+0 and gains wither. 2/3  This is a combination of two other cards I've made, like how many of the "pair" cards in MOM are a combination of two older cards. Dash and "Equipment you control..." were taken from Blade Wolf, and the rest was taken from Raiden but modified to work on a non-transforming card.

Sultai Hospital   Legendary Planeswalker--Vraska Jace   : Draw a card, then create a 0/0 black, green, and blue Illusion Assassin creature token with deathtouch, deathtouch for planeswalkers, “This creature gets +1/+1 for each card in your hand”, and “Whenever this creature deals damage to a player or planeswalker, draw a card.”  : Destroy target nonland permanent, then return up to one target creature to its owner’s hand.  : Target player mills forty cards, then their life total becomes equal to the number of cards in their library.  This was made pre- MOM, but the sentiment still stands. LET MY BABIES BE HAPPILY MARRIED!!!

Legendary Creature — Human Elf
Landfall — Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control put a loyalty counter on Chandra and Nissa, and they deal 1 damage to any target. Then if there is four loyalty counters on them you gain an emblem with “Landfall — Create a red and green Elemental token with ‘This creature’s power and toughness is equal to the number of loyalty counters on Chandra and Nissa.’”

I did not fall into a Chandra X Nissa rabbit hole while looking for art for this! YOU DID! I saw no one had taken the two gay girls, so I took it upon myself to correct that. They're too cute together to be left out. A creature and a planeswalker in one card was a fun challenge, and I like what I came up with for it. If anyone know a better way of wording the gain eblem go it isn't ' in ", please tell me. I feel like its written wrong. |

Thought I'd kill two birds with one stone and make an entry that also fits the current Two Creature Types challenge . Ashling and Sygg Legendary Creature - Elemental Merfolk : ~ deals 1 damage to target creature or planeswalker. At the beginning of each end step, if ~ dealt 3 or more damage this turn, draw a card. 3/3 |

Flo00: Any reason why you didn't let the ability hit any target? Because it really should be able to also ping planeswalkers, at the very least.

Flo00: Any reason why you didn't let the ability hit any target? Because it really should be able to also ping planeswalkers, at the very least. I guess I ninja-edited the "or planeswalker" in while you where writing this? Hitting also players would make it stronger in a way that I don't like. |
