Welcome to the Deckbuilders' Challenge originally created by sdfkjgh! {Comments}A lot of casual Illusion tribal decks like this one often hit on the idea of using Krovikan Mist as an efficient beater preferrably backed with Lord of the Unreal, but there's usually a struggle to make it really go toe to toe with anything slightly more efficient. The comments section on Gatherer suggests trying Chronozoa, but that's fairly slow on its own right and Solemnity screws itself over while making it an impractical 3-card combo. This deck takes a slightly different route by exploiting that 1) a lot of Illusions having flying and 2) Mistform Sliver is a Sliver and an Illusion. We run a small package of Winged Sliver and Shadow Sliver that can effectively get pseudo pumped by Mistform and some lords to swing in for big damage, and take advantage of everything having flying by running a full playset of Favorable Winds so that everything we play, one way or another, is getting multiple stacking buffs. Our removal comes in the form of Aether Channeler and Riftwing Cloudskate, which also create compatible creatures with this strategy in addition to being affordable bounce spells. |

Ok, first off, I love the name. Second off, SilentKobold , your deck seems more an Aristocrats Humans deck that just happens to run an Insect combo package. Here's a deck more focused on its central theme. I've been tinkering with LegenVD's Marrow-Gnawer Brawl deck, in fact, this was the first Brawl deck I built. A good chance for me to finally make a Fynn, the Fangbearer deck: most deathtouch creatures are snakes, spiders or other vermin. (Pauper Commander) A simple deck, all about cheap deathtouchers and infecters hitting your opponent. The deck works best in a 1v1, and is much less effective in multiplayer (as plenty poison strategies are). |

I have an old deck that I converted into a commander deck recently (also added a bunch more newer cards). But since the commander deck is quite similar to another submission, I'll post my old deck as is. Just a casual on-theme legacy deck. Down with the Sickness |
