Welcome to the Deckbuilders' Challenge originally created by sdfkjgh! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a deck along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries!    MonoRock Hydra Devotion A list inspired by Devotion lists that use Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, encouraging you to quickly build a large amount of Devotion to Red so that you can ramp out one of Magic's X-costing Red hydras. Because of how they are costed Balduvian Hydra on turn 2 and Rock Hydra on turn 3 to also add to your devotion by 2, allowing the hydras to double as ramp if you need the mana to play an even better one. Note: The original list runs Burning-Tree Emissary for maximum ramping speed. This version of the deck runs Flametongue Yearling to be more challenge compliant and opts to be a little more control based as a result. |

My first foray into this challenge. (Tried to finish one a month or so ago but couldn't finish in time... that one is still not done, lol). Here you have some   Merfolk... or Merless Folk. |
