@pistonmcgraw I don't believe so. If my understanding of the layer system is correct, my submission cards only check the sublayers below them to determine X but don't include themselves.

Do these make an infinity/infinity creature if they are both equipped? No. Based on my understanding of the layers and timestamps system, whichever one entered the battlefield first applies first, and then the other applies second, and that's it. So a 3/3 equipped with both, if the defense unit entered first, would get +0/+3, and then +6/+0, ending up at a 9/6 (I think) |

I would suggest using base power and base toughness instead. Easier to understand, no rules headaches.

Since the original cycle was in enemy colors, I really wanted to go with an ally-colored entry.
EDIT: Changed the angel's name and updated its wording.
