Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of each week, a winner will be determined by forum poll. The winner's card will be rendered and featured on the Welcome page, and the winner decides the challenge for the next week's Contest! Here we go, competitors: our four-hundred and twenty-third challenge! The winner of the "Not-So-Secret Lair!" poll was spazlaz with...And the challenge issued by our winner was... Use this website to create three cards generated by a computer. Pick one of them and make it a much of a functional, balanced, and flavorful card as you can. Create a render for both so we can see side by side. (Or if you enter with only a text version, just copy over the original text so those can be put next to each other. ~Daij_Djan) Don't forget the randomly generated flavor text! To increase your chances of winning and to also make creating the poll easier on whomever is doing so, please try to use a render. Additionally, please try to keep your entry edits all in one post - if you need to change it you can put your old entry in a spoiler marked "Old entry" and leave the newest rendition to be seen. Just use the edit button in the top/right of your original post. And now, time to begin the challenge! Best of luck, competitors!

Just leaving my originals here for now. {They came as three} 4RR Sorcery two target nonlegendary libraries gain ''When ~this~ leaves the battlefield, all Dragons get +2/+0 until end of turn'' until end of turn
(R/G) Artifact Creature - Gargoyle (1/3) Whenever you gain life, put a +1/+1 counter on ~this~ ~this~ enters the battlefield with two +1/+1 counters on it T, remove a +1/+1 counter from ~this~: put a charge counter on target permanent and put two -1/-1 counters on all artifact creatures and tap those creatures When ~this~ is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, distribute up to seven charge counters on all permanents and those permanents gain ''Discard a card, Sacrifice a untapped creature with flying: target artifact creature gets -1/+1 until end of turn for each basic land type among lands an opponent controls'' until end of turn
2WW Instant target player gains 1 life Oh boy.. So boring (and "slightly" underpowered ) lifegain, nonlegendary libraries, and a word soup.. This might take a while..
EDIT: With the lifegain card simply being too boring and the wordsoup just being too nonsensical for me, I decided to go with the "nonlegendary libraries".
Credit for the Archive mechanic to herziquerzi - without it, this wouldn't have worked out (also I'm still a massve fan of the entire concept )

My three choices: {generator output}RRR Artifact Creature - Thopter (3/1) Flying T: all creatures with morph get -4/+4 until end of turn and ~this~ gains ''When ~this~ is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, put a -1/-1 counter on any number of target creatures with power 1 or less'' (This effect doesn't end) --His riddle enjoys a single eye yet improves more than even the most awesome sleet would – Folk Song (Trad.)
4 Instant you reveal the top X cards of your library, where X is the number of nonblack creature spells cast this turn. you put all sorcery cards from among them into hand, and put the rest into your graveyard --His hall pauses the trick and enlarges even the best aftermath – oldtreecutter13 of Thunderhead
U Creature - Human Scout (1/2) If ~this~ would regenerate, you may Pay 1 life. If you do, instead attach an Aura in play to ~this~. Gain control of that Aura until end of turn Render of the original: The changes I made: replaced regenerate with totem armor since they do similar things but the latter keys into the aura theme better; made the control change permanent to help with tracking; upped the mana and life costs a bit; Flavor text was made using using a predictive text site starting with just "Estrid"

{All 3 cards}4WW Atet Laser Planeswalker - Atet (Loyalty 7) +1: target red creature can block an additional creature (This effect doesn't end) -2: up to X target lands are Island lands in addition to their other types (This effect doesn't end), where X is the number of lands you control and two target multicoloured creatures get +1/+1 until end of turn for each land an opponent controls -9: attach target Aura to target red creature. (Control of that Aura doesn't change.) --Nature endures even one web and surprises the most awesome toad Although humanity challenges more effectively than the fastest boundary – Unattributed IV
Land ~this~ enters the battlefield tapped. T: add U to your mana pool W, Tap an untapped Samurai you control, T, sacrifice ~this~: each player may search his or her library for up to three basic land cards and put them into the battlefield. Each player who searched his or her library this way shuffles it. All legendary artifacts are white
1RR Instant copy target spell or ability and you may choose new targets for the copy --His moon transcends the fiercest shape Whilst his owl branches better than the greatest judge – Steech Tauth the Swift The original card referenced red creatures 2x, so I added red to the cost. Her +1 was hard to keep track of without some marker; decided to tie it to renown, and added a vigilance counter to make the ability better utilizable, and moved the actual "can block +1" ability as a static on her. I left out the land things, as those seemed off, but kept the power boost (moved to her ult). The aura transfer felt better costed at her -2. The -9 seemed way too much. I wanted her to be able to generate the emblem once without dying. Removed the flavor text since Planeswalkers don't really have those.

So this is my entry. {Output} 3UUUU Creature - Merfolk Rogue (2/3) All attacking creatures become the creature type of your choice Threshold - If you have seven or more cards in your graveyard, ~this~ can't be the target of sorcery spells with converted mana cost 3 or less When ~this~ leaves the battlefield, untap two target white creatures
4U Tribal Sorcery - Illusion two target Dragons gain ''All Illusions can't be blocked except by Illusions'' (This effect doesn't end)
1B Sorcery destroy target Cleric

{originals}(G/U) Legendary Creature - Human Cleric (2/1) ~this~ can block an additional creature --Every wool may sprint – Eachoss Ockari, Guardian Traitor, Chief Wizard of the Group of the Sacred Woods
3BB Creature - Spirit (2/1) T: target opponent may return a card from his or her graveyard to the battlefield Discard a card: put a 1/1 white Spirit creature token onto the battlefield --A single tree grounds the confused apple and transcends the wisest son – Abubicha Tenire, Ice Druid, Chief Whip of the Alliance of the Shimmering Elm
4BB Artifact - Equipment Equip 2UUU All permanents gain ''Whenever a artifact creature is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, target opponent may Discard a instant card. If that player does, ~this~ deals 2 damage to target player'' Equipped creature gains flying There wasn't much to do here, just some template corrections, aside from that this is just a perfect card already. EDIT: Updated the tokens to be colorless. White 1/1 Spirit tokens should allways fly.

Out of curiosity, is there some kind of use for that first ability? The card seems very underpowered for the cost, and that ability in particular seems to be something that would never get used outside of maybe commander politics. However, maybe there's something I'm missing here, so I wanted to ask.

(Original) Sorcery target green creature gets +2/-2 until end of turn Immolation and Lash of Malice show this is a 1-mana effect, and could even be an instant. I ditched the green rider for a bonus if the creature was green, switched the toughness debuff to damage, added some Ixalicious flavor, and now we have… Tilonalli’s Fury Sorcery ~ deals 2 damage to target creature. If it’s green, it gets +2/+0 until end of turn.

Already a pretty clear cut card. But it also had nice flavor possibility.

I would have used a render, but I unfortunately don't have flip cards.
(Original) G
Enchantment
If an opponent would be dealt damage, prevent 3 of that damage
Whenever one or more creatures regenerates, target player may Pay 3 life. If that player does, flip ~this~.
- - - - -
Legendary Enchantment
At the beginning of your precombat main phase, you may Tap an untapped Snake you control. If you do, add one mana of any colour to your mana pool and untap up to four target Snakes
Snake Oil 3G Enchantment
Snakes you control have +0/+3. Whenever a snake deals combat damage to a player, you may pay 3 life. If you do flip Snake Oil.
- - - - -
Snake Farm Legendary Enchantment
At the beginning of your precombat main phase, you may tap an untapped snake you control. If you do, add one mana of any color and create four 1/1 green snake creature tokens.

Gotta be real honest, I had to reroll a couple times to get something workable; my first three were: blue spell with an activated ability that made white creatures bird until end of turn, four mana in green target player gains three life, and complete and total soup. All just completely uninteresting things. So, I rerolled, praise Algor. | CARDNAME A blue
Artifact Creature - Golem
Whenever you are dealt damage, target opponent may Discard a card. If that player does, draw a card 1/1 | | Mnemonic Golem A blue or black
Artifact Creature - Golem
Whenever a source an opponent controls deals damage to you, that source’s controller discards a card. When they do, they draw a card and you draw a card. FT: Its purpose is to retain its owner’s memories. Its owner’s ability to recall those memories at some later point lies outside its purpose.

1R Creature - Dragon (3/1) Flying When ~this~ leaves the battlefield, ~this~ deals 7 damage to target creature or player. Creatures damaged this way can't be regenerated this turn Evoke Discard a card, Discard a card If a creature with cumulative upkeep would be dealt damage, that damage is dealt to target creature instead UU Creature - Human Wizard (1/1) Whenever ~this~ leaves the battlefield, attach target Equipment to target attacking or blocking creature. (Control of that Equipment doesn't change.) Discard a sorcery card: target opponent reveals cards from the top of his or her library until that player reveals a sorcery card, puts that card into hand, and exiles the rest. 2W Sorcery Choose one: target player may search his or her library for a artifact card, reveal it, and put it into his or her hand. If that player does, that player shuffles that library afterwards.; or search your library for a Swamp card and put it into hand, then shuffle your library --The fastest acoustics endures – Nursery Rhyme (Trad.)
