Opening his eyes Arc found that the world of moderate means and small populace, and of course the unnerving looming threat of death, was replaced with a bustling city as far as the eye could see. Which to Arcanis at this moment... was very little. He sat in an alleyway off of the main street. Surprisingly, even though the street was busy with foot traffic and shops and vendors, nobody paid the man in very strange-looking clothes any mind. His instincts kicked in before his mind, and then several seconds later his memory, did. He faded into the shadows of the alley as he retreated from the well-lit street. He was an assassin of sorts he remembered. In certain places, people whispered in fear about his profession. Ninja were highly skilled killers.
So why wasn't he dead? He remembered the battle, the screams, the smoke-choked air. The clans waged war on such a grand scale that the entire world was pulled down into a sea of blood and hopelessness. Moments ago Arcanis Stood overlooking his home village as it lit the night with fire. He had returned to late to stop his family and friends from being slaughtered in his place. He was a world renowned Ninja of the highest grade, but with nothing left to protect he felt an overwhelming burning in his chest and he was ripped though time and space to find himself in the alley of a strange place.
Looking down at his fingertips as he rubbed them together he felt a connection to this world. A world full of power. {Current Plane:} The city is perfect for a person of my skill set. I will need to find others like me. Not just denizens of the underworld, but those who are able to travel across planes of existence. I can feel that I can go anywhere now but as a calculating person, I think it's best to find others who have already made mistakes that I can learn from. I'll start by inserting myself into society here while I look.
The rooftops and alleyways are where the dregs of society are shuffled off to. That is where I will spend my time making friends and influencing people, while still of course making money at what I do best.

A satyr holding a smoking pipe is napping directly in your path, breathing heavily, mumbling indistinctly. Dreaming Satyr Creature - Satyr Whenever an enchantment enters the battlefield under your control, you may pay . If you do, put a +1/+1 counter on ~. 3/2 Arcanis came across an odd sight. Not many Satyrs ever graced his path. Arcanis never was one to rouse someone who was sleeping. Though folks didn't tend to sleep in this part of town if they wanted to keep their coin or valuables. Removing a tag from his hip pouch, he placed it on the ground and activated the ward. "There you go my friend. no one should bother you now." Arc thought.
Dream Ward Artifact Non-creature permanents entering the battlefield don't cause abilities to trigger. Dreaming Satyr: I like this. Satyrs are commonly associated with enchantments, this possibly could have been an enchantment creature for a little more flavor. not sure if I would rather this be an uncommon. the fact that you have to pay for the +1/+1 keeps it out of rare in my opinion. Otherwise solid opener. 9/10

"What is this?" he says, somehow seemingly unaffected by the typical drowsiness associated with sleeping, ignoring the character but examining the ward. "Ah... friendly. Thank heavens." he says, after identifying it, turning his gaze to the ninja. "You are responsible for this ward?"Ephemeral Senses Enchantment - Aura Enchant creature Enchanted creature gets +1/+1. Whenever enchanted creature attacks, you may destroy target artifact or enchantment. Dream Ward: Good idea, the opposite of Torpor Orb, but I think it should line up more with that orb as well. Cost 1 less (maybe 2? creatures are more relevant typically), and I feel like it should have like a sac effect tagged on but I just like sac effects on static artifacts so that might be my bias. 7/10.

Arc Was surprised at the sudden movements of the sleeping Satyr. He must be quite attuned to his surroundings, Arcanis thought. "Yeah that was me. Merely trying to protect you as you slept but I see that you probably didn't need it. Sealing wards are one of my specialties. Such as this one." Arc held up another. "This one when activated establishes a zone of non-aggression. It's useful in meetings to prevent ambushes, when I just want to talk. My name is Arcanis. I am a Planeswalker fairly new to this plane. I am also a trained Ninja with many years of experience. However as it is I am trying to recruit members to establish a guild here. Would that be something you'd be interested in?" Pain Ward Artifact Creatures you control can't attack. Creatures can't attack you or planeswalkers you control. Ephemeral Senses: Pretty standard. I'm on the fence on whether the cmc is good or I think it should be one more being you get the effect on every swing. 9/10

Arcanis The satyr laughed and clapped a hand on the ninja's shoulder. "Good man. I appreciate the sentiment, but you're right - unnecessary." he says, eyeing the ward. "Hmm... a fellow walker. And I'm afraid I'm hesitant to join your guild - I am not the stationary type you see. I move, travel, and do not settle. All I need is typically around me - granted I stay out of deserts and harsh terrain." he explains. "Mayhaps you have room for a wanderer?" he inquires, though you get a feeling he may be as insincere as his laughs. Fiery Tongue Charm Enchantment - Aura Enchant creature you control Enchanted creature has " : This creature deals 1 damage to any target." , sacrifice ~: ~ deals 4 damage to enchanted creature and another target creature. "Every word of his makes me seethe with rage..!" - Commander Galet, Peace Treaty authorPain Ward: Ah, the ol' stalemate card. Guess we need a stalemate resolution association, eh? Anyway, despite the symmetry I feel like it's obviously one-sided to the deck that's playing it vs the deck that isn't. Blazing Archon is 9 mana but is also a 5/6 that can attack and commander only, so maybe 4 is forgivable, but yikes it's a powerful effect for 4 generic. If you're aggro you just kinda lose game one if you don't run artifact hate main deck, and limited you just die against it, honestly. In commander it's less brutal, because if you don't have some artifact hate, what're you doing, and less decks care about combat steps. It's heavily determined by it's legality and where it can be played format-wise. 6.5/10, but go ahead and round up to a 7 if you'd like, just because I don't rightfully know how to evaluate it properly.

I have known a few with the calling to wander. This guild I am putting together has no entrance or upkeep fees or duties. Merely promising to be friendly to the guild and it's members... in a broad sense. I don't see every member getting along with each other perfectly. But if you are around you would have a safe place to rest, as well as good company. But I suppose anybody as good natured as yourself wouldn't have trouble finding good company. Anyway the offer is on the table. And not accepting now doesn't remove it from the table. So take your time. At the very least I would like us to be friends." Wound Ward Artifact Prevent noncombat damage that would be dealt to creatures. Fiery Tongue Charm: I would only slightly tweak this. I think the casting cost should be but I think you can probably reduce the sac ability to . The increase in casting is for the power of fire ability. tap poke is actually quite good. but because you are dealing the damage to the enchanted creature as well I think the cost to activate it can be less. 9/10

Now, how about a drink to celebrate?" he says, a mug of mead appearing in his hand from seemingly nowhere, and a second one following suit, offering it to the steadfast man across from him. Tenuous Friendship Enchantment At the beginning of your team's upkeep, you may pay . If you do, each player on your team draws a card, then discards a card. A gift! Wound Ward: Fun card name to say! Anyway, you forgot a rarity so I'll assume rare cause this effect is limitedly good. It's like an insane sideboard card against burn (maybe not as insane because burn still goes face, but still). Very one-sided, you're probably not running a lightning bolt if this is in your deck. But if it's not against burn, it sorta falls short. Hard to evaluate without the environment too, and sort of effective in the right limited. 7/10.

But none of them ever stopped to converse and try to work things out. I don't know." Arc finished taking another drink of his mead. Generous Ally Creature- Wizard Ally If you would draw a card you may instead have target teammate draw a card. Whenever Generous Ally or another Ally creature enters the battlefield under your control, Draw a card. 1/2 Tenuous Friendship: I can get down with a team loot. I would probably have it be a may though. That way your team can choose not to if they want. That being said my card does the same thing so I won't take points off for it. 10/10
