Eh, the question is no moot for me, because I found a card that works, but others might still need it answered.
This one was inspired by one of voltaic-qui's designs:
Jobbing Mage   Creature--Vedalken Wizard  When Jobbing Mage enters the battlefield, choose black, red, green, or white.
Spells you cast of the chosen color cost less to cast. 2/1 |

Haha, thanks for the praise! I believe  is okay because you have to jump through a lot of hoops to get the extra turn, similar to Search the City. |
