Reluctant Consideration is just beautiful, I love these simple cards with cool recurrence triggers. 10/10. "I need to kill someone. I can easily do it myself -even if I was told you might be the only one who could do it- but I want her to suffer, I want her to feel the full blown might of as many people as I can gather. Her name is Kirino Oblay, name your price and help me get her head..."Hellbent Quest Instant As an additional cost to cast this spell, pay two times X life. Reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a card with converted mana cost X. Put that card into your hand and exile the rest. "I don't care who gets hurt or what prize I must pay, I know what I want and I'll stop at nothing to achieve it!"

"If I may be so bold as to inquire about my target, what has this Kirino done to cause this kind of reaction?" Arina glances around, taking note of every single object she has with her. Within moments, she attracts her dagger to her hand from under some papers on the ground, looking over the blade as she talks. "As I said, this is not my line of work anymore. I am trained for the job but do not wish to end a life without reason."
Hellbent Quest is a card I'd be very concerned about printing because it looks a lot like Spoils of the Vault that doesn't actually kill you if you've built right. Might be fine? 9/10
Uncessant Questions :1::u::b: Instant :rare: Draw a card, then exile a card from your hand. If you do, search your library for a card with the same converted mana cost as that card, reveal it, shuffle your library, then put that card on top of your library.

Uncessant Questions: Nice to see the exile matters TM cards that define Arina, I'd probably have the card be a sorcery and add the card to your hand for a Divination-esque effect or, you know, I can realize this card was meant to answer a challenge and recognize it does so greatly XD. 9/10. "What is it with assassins in this world that seem to need a reason to do their job?" says Aylin exasperated "Has the honorable art of being a mercenary been lost?"Not as long as I live she thinks mischievously, even though she has to admit it's been a while since she's done any mercenary work..."Kirino is a monster, she's already blown up a plane and apparently more than one guy in this Arena wants her dead! Is this a good enough reason? Because I honestly think a big fat purse should be reason enough!"Exasperate Instant Until end of turn, whenever a creature attacks this turn, that creature deals 1 damage to itself. Creatures target opponent controls attack each combat this turn if able. Never charge into battle when your mind is obfuscated by rage.

korakhosArina blinks at Aylin and her eyes widen. "Excuse me? Why did you not begin with that? I will absolutely take your job. In exchange, I would like any information you have about Miss Oblay. Does that seem like a fair exchange?" Arina attracts her dagger's sheath to her, immediately sets it along the waist of her pants, and then similarly pulls a book and pen with her. "If so, I have some more questions I need to ask of someone else, so I need to step out." Exasperate is basically Aggravate but not garbage? Which seems fine? 9/10 (Unfortunately, I don't exactly have creatures to shove into your exasperate, but) Timely Dismissal Instant As an additional cost to cast this spell, tap X creatures you control. Counter target spell unless its controller pays . Target player draws X cards.

Timely Dismissal: fine card, looks balanced and is a proper response since even if you're not using it to counter the spell directly it does help minimize the damage by tapping your dudes (missing the "untapped" on that clause though). 9/10.
"All you need to know is she is probably around my age, but her hair is black and she wears a disgusting dress... oh, and she is deceivingly powerful. But don't try to kill her until I give you the notice, I want to be there when she bites the dust!" says Aylin sadistically "I believe this will serve as a downpayment and will show you what a generous customer I am" she adds, throwing a small but decently weighted pouch of jewels in her direction.

Arina catches the bag using a spell and looks over them before returning a shrug. "Very well, I will collect information for the time being. Now, I must be off." Arina steps inside to deposit the gems in the drawer of three research desk and begins looking at a roughly drawn map.

Arina writes out notes in her notebook about the crystals she was given. Surely these can be used for something other than currency, she thinks as she shines a light over them. Entela will be excited about them even if I cannot find anything special about them. There is a flash of elemental energy behind Arina. A spell of some manner from Volaria, which Arina already has assumptions about but has no time to mention before another voice interrupts her thoughts.
"Hi Mom!" Hannah squeaks. Arina turns to face her 10-year-old daughter. Hannah has all the same supplies Arina brought with her at first. A notebook, pens, her transceiver, alongside a mess of tools and parts that Arina is uncertain she even knows the function of. At Hannah's side is Fulmen, Arina's final partner and Hannah's father.
"Fulmen," Arina says with a sigh. "Now is literally the worst time."
"Wasn't really my decision," Fulmen returns, shrugging. "Sara had a job for Hannah and she accepted. Something core engineering; Hannah wanted to keep it a secret until she could tell you. Which I guess is fine, since one of us has been away for almost two months without coming back to visit her child."
Arina pauses and looks at Fulmen. "I am sorry, I have been caught up in my work and the rising conflicts surrounding me."
Fulmen chuckles, steps forward, and kisses Arina. "Don't worry, I do it too. Just try to come back more often, alright?"
Arina nods. "I can do that. Now, Hannah, you said you were in charge of something?"
"Yep!" Hannah smiles. "I'm in charge of making a small oscillation reactor and an aether tunneler! ... with instructions from Master Sara, of course. I have to set my transceiver as a beacon so she can push the rest of the stuff through the tunnel."
"Hannah, you're 10."
"You're?" Fulmen questions.
"No, Fulmen, I am 31. Hannah is 10."
"I mean you contracted 'you're'."
"Did I?"
"You did," Fulmen smiles, "It was adorable."
Arina smiles, sighs, and rolls her eyes. "Hannah, you are 10."
"Right, which means I should know how to run an oscillator, right?" Hannah asks. "They can't overflow and stop working half the time anyways, so I basically only have to push a button every couple hours to make sure it's still going. It'll be fine."
Arina looks around, considering Aylin's presence... and that of this Kirino. "Can you promise me that you will hide if ever someone comes seeking a fight?"
"Of course!"
"Then I would suggest you find a room to stay in. There should be one upstairs," Arina finally agrees. "I will have to be out to do some research but I trust that you can find your way around."
(Hannah is present as well and may make some responses in Arina's stead.)

"Oh, hiya!" A young girl in a red hat bounces towards Hannah. "I'm looking for a miss Nis-it-is-ita. Or something like that. I've seen her here a few times before, do you know where she is?"Spurious Recon Enchantment When Spurious Recon enters the battlefield, target player puts the top X cards of their library into their graveyard, where X is the number of enchantments you control. At the beginning of each end step, if you cast an enchantment spell this turn, return Spurious Recon to its owner's hand.

Hannah looks up from her small tinkering with minuscule parts and excitedly rises to her feet with the girl's approach. "Hi! Mom's somewhere else right now, talking to someone else about something else. Buuut I'm here, and I'm also a Nisita!" Hannah looks around at the space in the field that she was told to set up her work in. "Also I have this pile of metal!"So, Spurious Recon has the problem that it is, in fact, an enchantment spell, so it's just a buyback mill spell that counts your enchantments. If I assume it's supposed to not count itself, it's probably completely reasonable. 7/10 Oblivious Tinkering Instant Return target artifact card from your graveyard to your hand. If that card was put there from anywhere this turn, draw a card. "I don't know why you're here, but check this out!"

"Well, I can wait with miss Nisita until missus Nisita comes back, then." They looked over the strange pile of metal she had shown off. "Ooooh, what are you making with all this stuff? Looks complicated."Heap of Potential Enchantment You may have Heap of Potential enter the battlefield as a copy of any artifact or enchantment on the battlefield, except it has " : Return target permanent with the same name as this permanent to its owner's hand." "It could be anything! Even a pile of junk!"Oblivious Tinkering - these always trip me up because blue hasn't done this since, uh, Tempest but mechanical color pie has these at primary for blue. nifty tho 9/10(and ye derp, I had made that an end step to try to stop two of them bouncing each other and missed that it makes one bounce itself)

"I'm working on an oscillation reactor," Hannah declares proudly. "Paving the way for Entelan development! It's kinda complicated but I have books to help me, so I can handle it." Hannah beams brightly, as though she were talking to a close friend. "I'm Hannah, by the way, don't need to call me Miss Nisita. Why're you looking for Mom?"Picturing the abuse case of Heap of Potential is a lot of fun. I think it can pick itself up, too? Exciting design, absolutely. 9/10 Aetheric Generator Artifact When Aether Generator enters the battlefield, look at the top two cards of your library, then put them back in any order. : Add one mana of any color.

What's this oscillaty thing gonna do when it works?"Observation Bias Enchantment Whenever a player searches or looks at one or more cards in their library, you may put the top two cards of their library into their graveyard. Aetheric Generator - dece mana rock, but doesn't do much with the Heap and seems unfitting at rare. will at least round you over with 6.5/10

"It's gonna make a lot of energy!" Hannah replies excitedly. She turns around and starts motions to seemingly random locations in the field. "The oscillator's gonna go there, it's gonna hook up to an aether tunneler, and I can go home! Mom and Master are gonna be so impressed when I'm done!" Hannah turns back around to face the fellow child. "It's gonna be really cool, you should come see it again when I'm done."Observation Bias reminds me a lot of Psychic Surgery. Up the cost to give it a bit more range and also just wipe both cards out, makes sense. 8/10 Student's Aptitude Sorcery Look at the top five cards of your library. Put one into your hand, then put the rest on top of your library in any order. First-year students of Entela learn things that many outside observers will never have learned.

"Sounds like fun! Can't wait to see it all up and oscillating." It stopped for a moment. "Wait, go home? Are you stuck here too?"Together Alone Enchantment At the beginning of each player's upkeep, if that player controls two or more creatures, that player sacrifices a creature. All around me are worn out faces.(not a straight up attack, like a feeling of loneliness or something) Student's Aptitude - nice little cantrip and a answer i didn't even realize was there at first glance. gotta give the full 10/10 for a nice card on all fronts

"Kinda?" Hannah replies. "I asked to come here because Mom's here, but... I kinda miss Entela already..." Hannah sets aside a moment for thought after her sentence, but whatever she was thinking about is quickly gone. "But it's okay! Once I make this thing I can go home!" There is another pause from Hannah. "Hey, if you're also stuck here, maybe you could go home too? If the tunneler in Entela could get me here, surely it could send you home!"Together Alone is super saddening. Slowly you watch your friends die around you until you're the only one left, waiting as no one can stay to comfort you. As far as balance, setting up a 1v1 at 5 mana seems completely correct for this. 10/10 Face the Future Sorcery Return target nonland permanent to its owner's hand. Scry X, where X is the number of creatures you control. "The future can be scary, but you don't have to go into it alone."

"Well, I didn't live in Entela. Will it be able to go other places?" they asked.
"It might be nice to visit though! I can help with..." the hat realized it didn't understand what the other girl was doing at all. "...finding things you need around the Arena! I know a lot of people here, and can find almost anything."Hunt for Treasure Enchantment Whenever one or more cards are put into your graveyard from anywhere, put a quest counter on Hunt for Treasure. Remove six quest counters from Hunt for Treasure and sacrifice it: Return up to three target nonenchantment cards from your graveyard to your hand. think this one is more a gift from your intrigued behatted friend. Face the Future - while not normally a fan of scry X, gotta give bonus points for that flavor :3 10/10

I can help with... ...finding things you need around the Arena! I know a lot of people here, and can find almost anything." "Hm... I don't really know what I need. All the stuff Master Sara said I'd need is somewhere in that pile. Oh! Maybe if you find other people to talk to, you could send them over? I'd get lost if I tried to find them myself."
So I was wondering how the best way to prok this was when I realized that it gets anything non-enchantment back, not even just artifacts. This is a card that I want to play in cube so much now and is unlikely to break anything. 10/10
Expanded Explanation Instant Draw two cards, then discard two cards. If you discarded two cards that share a card type, draw a card. "Then you turn on the aether inductors and all the energy goes into it, and then..."
Arina steps out of the shack behind Hannah. Any planeswalker would be able to recognize she just 'walked in, but Hannah doesn't notice immediately. "Hannah?" she asks as she approaches. "Are you still doing alright?"
"I'm okay, Mom." Hannah motions towards the girl. "I found a friend who was looking for you!"

Expanded Explanation - 9/10
"Oh miss... missus? Nisita! We should meet over here," the hat pulled the two of them away from Hannah. "Hi, you probably don't remember me but I remembered you! There's a lot of people really scared of this lady named Kirino, and I heard the people in the weird office building say they needed you before she blew up the Arena! They didn't know how to find you," she tapped the hat. "but I knew, so I came to tell you!"
Your End is at Hand Scheme When you set this scheme in motion, each opponent sacrifices a permanent with the greatest converted mana cost among permanents they control. A mother's touch, powerful, but merciful.

I'm pretty sure they can do literally whatever they want? The flavor text here is extremely on point, though. 8/10 Embrace the End Instant Choose target creature you control. "I'll have more done when you come back!" Hannah agrees with a laugh.
The metallic skeleton of a cylinder is assembled in the field where the pile of metal resides. The pile is noticeably smaller to any who saw it before, as many of its resources have formed the beginning of Hannah's device. A few sheets of a slightly tinted glass have been leaned against the skeleton of the cylinder. While Hannah has separated off pipes and tubes from the metal heap, none of them have been connected yet.
Hannah is noticeably worse for wear than she was previously. She seems like she has not slept for days; her movements are slower and occasionally she stops and stares for a few moments before returning to what she was doing. She continues to tinker with the device, certain that she will be able to make it function.

She waved to the other girl to introduce herself. ( gateways7 ) The hat frowned at Hannah's appearance. "You're not looking so good. You getting enough sleep and stuff?" They turned to look at the changes from the pile of metal. "Maybe take a break for a minute and tell us what you've got so far?"
