The blind dwarves of Anachron populate the plane's underground cavern network, caretaking the forgotten buried ruins and relics of history. The blacksmiths and craftsmen of the dwarves, known as the Artisans, continue the legacy of the time-lost relics with their tireless craftwork. Once in the life of each Artisan, they receive the Revelation, a dream of an artifact they will craft that will outshine all of their past and future works.

Bahrum received his Revelation, a dream of a runed mithril hammer, and immediately set to work at his forge, upon which he could smelt ore using the magma at Anachron's core. Upon finishing his creation, Bahrum was so captured by its primal emanations that he slipped off the edge of his forge's perch and tumbled into the core of the plane. Just as his hammer touched the molten core, Bahrum's planeswalker spark ignited, saving his life and imbuing his molten-scarred hammer with primal life.

Admire the Craftsmanship: I really love this card. I think the cost is fair to cover both modes, and it's a strong flavour hit. My only problem with it is that the first mode feels more white than red, and the second ability is white not red. 7/10

Gilded Blade: True-Faith Censer makes me think this should cost more or only give +1/+1, but it's probably not super pushed. I love the multicoloured tag, and it ties the flavour text in real nicely. I think it should be formatted like Ghostfire Blade though 8/10

Quality of Craftsmanship: I appreciate what this card is trying to do, but it doesn't work with its current wording. As it stands, this gives the spells hexproof while they're on the stack, which doesn't do anything since hexproof only protects its host while it's a permanent. It's also quite clunky, since this only protects from instant speed removal. This taps into new design space that I like, but since it doesn't work I can't give it more than a 6/10

Pride of Creation: I like where you're going with this. It's a nice buildaround with a modest reward. The uncounterability isn't red though (besides for Vexing Shusher which I don't think is really red either), and it shouldn't be a Curse, since Curses only have negative effects that you'd want to give to an opponent. 7/10

That doesn't beat the land since it gets +1/+1 counter from that artifact dying, unless you pitch an artifact from hand or had artifacts die before the land entered. Since it can in theory and the card is actually decent 4/10 but I don't see it as beating my card.

Robin, Steward of the Armoury: Can I just say it's so relieving seeing someone else spell using Australian English. I love this card. It's such a modest effect that isn't too weak because it stacks, but the added cost acts as a failsafe in case someone finds a way to break it. This is a well-crafted design that perfectly highlights its two colours and ties in the themes of both our characters. 10/10

Bahrum is startled by the number of guests in the caverns that aren't seemingly here to plunder. "Greetings, traveller. Please, sit and relax. Tell me, why are you in need of so many weapons?"

Trailblazer's Greaves: I feel like the costs could be switched. 2 to equip is a lot to add onto the cost of playing a creature, and a single +1/+1 counter is small enough that it wouldn't be too strong at 1 to equip. The concept of a buff that only works once per creature is neat, and I think the haste really helps tie the card together. 8/10

Beloved Masterpiece: I like the modal effect you're going for, but this is a really user-unfriendly format, and I don't think it works this way. It should be worded more like Armament of Nyx, so maybe "Enchant artifact", "Enchanted artifact gets +1/+1 and has menace as long as it's a creature.", and "Enchanted artifact has "Equipped creature gets +1/+1 and has menace" as long as it's an equipment." Clunky, but I think it's the only way it works. It is a nice modest modal effect though and I appreciate these kind of cards. 7/10

It should be worded more like Armament of Nyx, so maybe "Enchant artifact", "Enchanted artifact gets +1/+1 and has menace as long as it's a creature.", and "Enchanted artifact has "Equipped creature gets +1/+1 and has menace" as long as it's an equipment." Clunky, but I think it's the only way it works. It is a nice modest modal effect though and I appreciate these kind of cards. 7/10

Whoops! That's on me. Smelted Sentinel is good in multiples - if you have one in the yard and one in the field, you can spend

to trigger quite a few different things. Besides, it's always nice to block removal like this. 9/10, my good smith.

Oreheart Armaments is both a solid card (it's an equipment that still does something without creatures around, which is always good) and a solid target for Beloved Masterpiece. Another 9/10.
