Lumen stares at the... strange elemental model of the fox guy Aylin's describing. He's worked with more abstract clues before, and he knew just the guy that could help him. "Yeah, I'll look into it. Thanks for the lead." CARD: It's like reanimation but more aggressive and red. I like this. 9/10. Entalan Explorer Creature - Human Elemental Whenever CARDNAME or another Elemental enters the battlefield under your control, investigate. , Sacrifice four Clues: Create a token that's a copy of target creature, except its an Elemental creature. 2/3 Jar of Cogs: This feels a bit weak at rare for a 5 mana total draw-ish card. Like, this could probably be a bit better? 7/10.
"A fair exchange. Thank you."
Kassovan Kneecaps Artifact - Equipment : Equipped creature gains your choice of flying, haste or trample until end of turn. Whenever CARDNAME becomes detached from a creature, sacrifice that creature. Equip For running, jumping, trampling and not tripping.

Entalan Explorer: Entelan is mispronounced, 0/10. Boy oh boy it's been a while since someone took one of my cards as a gift XD. Like last time, I literally have nothing bad to say about this card, so give yourself another 10/10.
"Excellent" replies Aylin with a smirk "And don't worry, I don't expect you to do this for free... Once you're done with the job I plan on giving you a handsome reward."

The robot blinks. A (mostly) organic actually cooperating with it? This was unusual."Well, I must admit, the quality does seem to hold up. Shall we test it further?"Generator Automaton Artifact Creature - Construct When ~ enters the battlefield, add . Pay : Add . Spend this mana only on artifact spells or to activate abilities of artifacts you control. One robot to power all the rest.Kassovan Kneecaps - 9/10. I just really like this card. It seems fairly balanced, puls would be quite fun in any format. 9/10 because it might hiav slight power issues at that rarity.

He shook his head. "Nah, I've got stuff to go do. Mainly find someone to protect. That's my purpose in this life." he smiled and waved, then turned to walk off.
Time to Think: I mean, I like the card. I think it's a nice variation of Divination and Catalog and all those cantrips. Would go good in my Jori En EDH jank... anyway, I like the card but I fail to see how it responds to my soldier dude unless it was intended as a gift. Honestly, it was so long ago I don't remember what I meant myself. 8/10. Good design, just... yeah.

gurfafflekins: I treated that as a gift, sorry bout that notdaedalus: I think that's a bit too efficient. Spending one energy to get is two mana is crazy, even if that mana is restricted in usage. Given the fact that there are several one-cost cards that can give you two energy, this can get you 6 mana artifacts by turn 2. Okay. (Not okay.) 5/10. "Hm, I don't think it can withstand that much power - perhaps a resistor or two would be in order."
Resistor Braces Artifact - Equipment Whenever equipped creature attacks, you may pay . If you do, it gets +X/+X until end of turn. Equip

FleurThe almost-organic was right. Given time, the energy overload would easily burn out the robot. He hadn't even given it basic movement or defensive systems. Somehow, he was already losing to this organic, and it wouldn't stand. He would have to get much better."Hmm, those boots do fit quite nicely. I think I might have just the thing to wear them."Energized Infiltrator Artifact Creature - Construct Whenever ~ deals combat damage to a player, get that many . Pay : ~ is unblockable this turn. 1/1 Resistor Braces - 8/10. Not sure on power, but I like them game-play wise. A good card, and a great equipment.

"A fitting compliment to such a device, but not an unstoppable one." CARD: Acceptable and a neat way to create a Kaladesh-like build around that encourages you to make a self-sufficient machine. I like this one a lot. 9/10. Kassovan Confiscator Creature - Human Warrior When CARDNAME enters the battlefield, exile target creature and all equipment attached to it until CARDNAME leaves the battlefield. "Take the suspect, but don't forget about the volt-powered keychain or the acid hose - those'll be good evidence too."2/3 notdaedalus

"I in fact, am." Beneath his mask, Lumen's eyes widen. korakhosCARD: A boardwipe with suspend 1? Neat! Wonder if it could hit PWs though 8/10 Galvanic Mount Artifact - Vehicle Haste When CARDNAME enters the battlefield, untap target permanent. Crew 2 3/3 (Naturally counters the wipe by virtue of turning off at the end of each turn) gurfafflekins: "Alright then - what would you like to know? CARD: Perimeter Guard exists, so this is really, really weak. Can't give this any more than a 5/10. Kitchen Kart Artifact - Vehicle CARDNAME enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it if you've gained life this turn. I usually just try to be quiet and respectful to non-threats on the job. How about you?"Pestering Fighter Creature - Human Soldier Whenever ~ deals combat damage to a player, put a +1/+1 counter on it. "So, what's happening now? Before? CARD: A suitable progression from Slith Firewalker. Neat. 9/10 "I mean, it depends on who they are. But being polite helps a lot. Which is good, because you rather seem to be. Sometimes though, it's important to be firm and assertive. I guess interacting with people is just about knowing when to be assertive, and when to give way."Fuzzy Cuffs Artifact - Equipment You may sacrifice a Goat rather than pay CARDNAME's mana cost. Galvanic Mount: Damn you for making me rate a Vehicle when I've no idea how to judge them XD! Considering Sleek Schooner I believe this is fine, since the haste and untap compensates for the -1/-0, although I'm wondering if you could afford this to have Crew 1. 9/10. "I've been talking to the guys around here, turns out her blowing up a plane is a huge deal to them and we're mobilizing to bring her down..." she says, opening with the world destruction since that seems to be what people consider the most important detail "I know you're a justice zealot, so care to bring someone to justice?" she adds, strategically omitting the fact she's planning on killing the woman.Put in the Spotlight Instant Change the target of target spell that targets only a single creature to target creature. Enforcer Twins: the most perfect Daybreak Coronet target ever created? Still probably slippery boggle I freaking love this!!!!! I have no bad things to say about this, I think this is strong but balanced. 10/10. "Excellent" she says, standing up "It will all happen tomorrow, just wait for my signal."She prepares to leave, but before she does, she looks at the robot one more time."Metal man, thanks..."Signal the Assault Sorcery ~ deals 3 damage to target creature. Creatures can't block this turn. "The second I bring down the guard you guys rush inside!"

cajun : Lumen notices a puzzle lying around. Strange. He didn't notice it before for some reason. He begins to solve... CARD: seems fun for draw-go, but even more fun in multiplayer. wondering if this could be ? 8/10 Reminisce and Resolve Instant Counter target spell unless its controller pays . You may cast an instant or sorcery spell with converted mana cost 2 or less from your graveyard without paying its mana cost. Exile that spell as it resolves. Supposed to get you that second spell cast easily. CARD: neat. not much else to say. 8.5/10. korakhos: Lumen nods. Boros Strategist Creature - Human Warrior First strike At the beginning of your end step, if three or more creatures attacked this turn, untap each creature you control. 3/1

Lumen sits down to examen Karina's hat, the giant ball of debris from the 7CI headquarters. All of them were pointing towards a potential arrest of Base Zero. Which was a shame - Lumen quite liked the robot, despite its... pretentiousness. Nonetheless, harming a child was, to say the least, an unforgivable crime. He sighed. "Rin, Aoli," he called out, "You know Base Zero?" "You mean the pretentious robot?", Aoli replied exhaustedly. "Yeah, him. I'm going to need to get an arrest done on him soon. Tried blowing up a child, which violates several interplanar laws." "Children as protected classes, you mean?", Rin asked, more for clarification than anything else. "Yes, that. So I'm going to have to do some research in preparation for this arrest. It's rather... difficult to deal with robots most of the time." "Ay, I concur," Rin replied, nodding their head. "Wonder if some water might do the trick?" Beneath his mask, Lumen rolled his eyes. "I wish. Anyways, I've looked into some artifice from Kaladesh - it seems pretty similar to what Base Zero's doing. A few differences - some of his creations, like a solar panel, seem more terrana-esque in nature, while others seem to be of a higher technology level than Kaladesh. Almost like Kassova, but with a modern bent." "Fascinating," the duo replied. "Anything we should research, boss?" Lumen thought for a moment. "Get me some numbers on Ravnican technology. No need to bring in any live samples-" he begins, thinking about his incidents with Dhotman and Aylin, "-but a few pieces should do. Thanks." They nod.
Lumen can now call for aid from Kaladesh and Guilds of Ravnica.

As a three meter tall creature approaches, a dark mist begins to spread throughout Lumen's place, creating a thick layer over the floor."Greetings, my name is Malextros" speaks the demon in his deep, hoarse, smoky voice "I am here because I'm looking for someone by the name of Aylin. You don't happen to know her, do you?"Imminent ArrivalSorcery Exile a creature card from your hand with X time counters on it, where X is its converted mana cost. korakhos: Lumen recalls the rules to dealing with criminals.1) Don't give them any advantages.2) Make it seem like you don't know who they are. 3) Don't die. With that in mind, he nodded respectfully at the demon before him. "I do. What do you need?" Paradigm Deceiver Creature - Merfolk Wizard When CARDNAME enters the battlefield, name a creature card. Whenever a creature with the chosen name enters the battlefield, gain control of it and it gains flying until CARDNAME leaves the battlefield. 2/2
CARD:I'm genuinely not sure how to evaluate this - I want to say this should go to more, but suspend is likely more of a cost than I give it credit for. An uncertain 7.5/10.

Paradigm Deceiver: Beautiful tech for commander! Also a neat way of dealing against meta decks who rely strongly on getting a certain creature out to get going (just wish this had 3 toughness to name Wurmcoil Engine and survive pyroclasm against Tron XD). 9/10. "Just information... I can tell by the aura she left here that she spent a decent amount of time interacting with you. In this time, did you happen to find out any of her weaknesses...?" he asks maliciously.Malevolent Prying Sorcery Target player reveals their hand. "Hey Lumen, can you hear me?" comes a voice from what seems to be inside Lumen's hat. Before he can find a speaker, a headsplitting screech erupts from the hat. Lumen can feel the artifice holding him together yield under the impossibly loud noise.Crippling Pulse Enchantment At the beginning of your end step, choose one that hasn’t been chosen — • Destroy all artifacts. • Destroy all creatures. • Destroy all planeswalkers. • Sacrifice Crippling Pulse.
We thought back to the fight with Base Zero. We had barely made it to help in time, and we had already been so close the 7CI. We needed something more reliable. We wove a spell. We didn't know Lumen's magical senses, so low power to be safe. Would only work while we were on the same plane. Would only receive, not send. But with this little charm, a cry for help to Lumen's ear was only a cantrip away. Even I didn't expect the cry to be this LOUD :^)

korakhos : i'm super late - I think this could be stronger, though? one more mana + potential draw seems to be a fair bit of downside - 7/10
"I do. But I'm afraid I cannot tell you."
Paradigm Shift Instant Discard your hand, then investigate seven times. Untap up to four lands. Exile CARDNAME. Take a step back. Breathe. Give no ground. Breathe.
cajun : this is fine. powerful but at six mana it's almost certainly okay. 9/10
"Yes, yes I can-" he begins, but then is interrupted by a horrific screeching noise. "Shi-"
Stifling Seizure Instant Counter target activated or triggered ability that isn't a mana ability. If a permanent's ability is countered this way, gain control of that permanent. When the screeching subsides, Lumen takes another breath. "What is it?"

The rending noises cease. The hat was safe again... probably.
Lumen recognizes the voice. The little 7CI agent in the red hat. Was she responsible for this?
Divided You Fall Scheme When you set this scheme in motion, target player joins your team until end of turn. You control that player during this turn.
Stifling Seizure - nifty. don't need to specify mana, it'd get the (Mana abilities can't be targeted.) reminder instead. Wondering if maybe this is 4 mana since it can snipe walkers, but it's very nice. 10/10

The child. "Emil!", he calls out. "I think - I think we have a situation with a child right now. Just got a boatload of static from my hat, and she might be responsible for it. Go and find that child - and keep me posted." He hears an explosion and some dragon roaring elsewhere. "I have somewhere else to be. Go find the child." Portable Aegis Artifact - Equipment Equipped creature has hexproof. Sacrifice CARDNAME: You gain hexproof until end of turn. Equip CARD: I think the timing of schemes makes this not as strong - things don't untap (schemes are first main phase), so this is often going to end up not doing very much. 6/10.cajun

The answer comes swiftly in his head. I do.But then, a moment of hesitation. He does, but doing so would mean breaking the rules he has set out for himself. Loyalty. But for Aylin? Would she show him any? Perhaps she would not, but perhaps she would. And either way, she was the lesser of these two evils. It was still a betrayal. But at the same time, he wanted to know what happened in Kassova while he was away. It had been so long. So long. "Sed lex , dura lex," he reminded himself. It is harsh, but it is the law. It was time for him to be hard on himself. If he was to find out, he would be the one to find it. He would be the one to struggle. And right now, he would deny himself the answers he craved. It was harsh, but it was the law."I do. But I'd like to see it for myself." CARD: Nifty! I honestly can get behind this - it works flavorfully and could be really neat in EDH - or really evil. 9/10. Harsh Prohibition Instant Counter target spell unless its controller pays . Whenever you cast a spell, exile CARDNAME from your graveyard. If you do, counter that spell unless you pay .
