I have been working on a custom game template, made by copying over magic and heavily modifying the script. It has been working extremely well, until I change some of the wording.
In auto_replace (I kept a lot of the original functionality) I left the original input of "etb" and just changed the replacer to be "enters the story". Well I'm still developing this game so I changed it back to battlefield. It still does "enters the story".
I have scrubbed every square inch of the game folder and the data template with notepad++'s search in file tool. I replace every instance of story with battlefield. Doesn't change. I changed it in all my projects in directory format. That didn't work. I deleted the temp data under username/appdata/local. The weirdest part is I go and remove the "etb" entries and save and I still can enter it in the text box. I double checked that it wasn't using another file by removing the entry in game. Well...
It still could do auto_replace input... It still had my custom entries. I've made sure I'm editing the right folder and files. I made a new instance of MSE on my drive and placed the scrubbed files in it. Still same weirdness. I even removed additional instances of MSE other than my main instance in my registry.
This is literally driving me nutz. Is there like a caching system or something?
PS Tried it on my brothers computer works fine.
PPS Where are the setting stored, like how does it remember your last opened project. Is that stored within the binary itself or is it stashed somewhere I have yet to find?
