About a month ago I was looking for a tool that could generate MtG cards from the command line, but couldn't find anything. I knew MSE had a CLI, but the consensus was that it was pretty limited and hard to use. Hell, the forum posts that I saw here couldn't figure out how to generate a card with an image from the CLI. So I started developing EasyMSE, which is a Python package that interfaces with an installation of MSE 2 to make generating cards easier. It's not meant to be a replacement for MSE by any means, it's just meant to make using MSE without a GUI easier. It's on GitHub, so you can find/contribute to it here
