Sparkless Daimhin "You lot make me right sick. You can't hide what you've done from me." And then she woke up with the ability to smell sparks - and to her, they smell like burning, putrid meat. What's worse, she can see the ghastly, greasy taint of a planeswalker's mana bonds clogging up the sweet air of her home. From this, she drew the obvious conclusion that planeswalkers are horrible demons that hide inside shambling meat-puppets. And, as a result, she pledged herself to rid the world of this obvious evil. Now if only she had any sort of combat training...

There is a flicker of light, a twinkle of eldrich endergy, and a man in a black cloak rolls out onto the plane. He had just left a strange trader of artifacts who unfortunately didn’t have what he needed, and had tried to scam him to boot. Now his journey continued, content to explore the Multiverse and simply see the incredible sights that belonged to it. Retrieving a pipe, he takes it and with a snap lights it, the sweet smoke of warm incense floating from it and around him.
Incense Shroud 1R Instant (Common) Target creature can’t be blocked by creatures with power 2 or less until end of turn. Draw a card.

There is a shaking ruckus behind Daimhin, and without warning, the tiny face of a Goblin busts out of a nearby trashcan.
"Ehehehe," she giggles out gutterally, "Don't like sparks, huh? Good thing I'm no Planeswalker!" She pulls something out of the depths of her trashcan and places it gently on a table next to her. "Gifties for you, new friend!" She then dives back in and disappears.

A young dark-haired woman wanders nearby, paying very little attention to her surroundings and mumbling to herself in some kind of (probably) foreign language while doing hand gestures as though she was explaining an idea to someone. She doesn't smell like a planeswalker, and she is wearing city clothes that might be familiar from a location on the Arena, but something about her seems off regardless.Leira, Seeker of Dust Legendary Creature - Human Wizard Whenever Leira, Seeker of Dust attacks, you may exile another target nonland permanent until Leira leaves the battlefield. Now that's how you'd shield your scent, Mr. Pipe Smoker. The trinket she gave me smells alright, though, so I might as well take it."Thank you, strange... trash goblin?" One day, some of the disgusting mana bonds in town begin flashing, converged on an abandoned building, which smells like burning meat in between flashes of gall and bile. If the Sparkless investigates, she will see through the broken windows a woman in her mid twenties, dressed as a shopkeeper, apron and all, with her hair held back by a red kerchief, clearing out clutter, moving furniture, and putting on display beakers, flasks, and plants that smell almost as foul as the demon that must dwell within her.Setting Up Shop Sorcery Draw a card, then reveal any number of artifact cards from your hand. Gain that much life. You may play an additional land this turn.

Trash Memories - Sorcery - As an additional cost to play Garbage Memories, sacrifice an artifact. Target player discards two cards. "Honestly, your life's just been a whole lot of rubbish anyways." Trash Memories: 9/10. I think it's pretty good, cheap but can't be broken in too early (I mean I guess it could, but is playing your 0 cost artifact and saccing it turn one to get two of their cards really worth it? Maybe but barely?). I like it!

She smells strange . She probably ran into one of those demons and it scrambled her mind - poor dear. I hope I'm not too late."Excuse me, m'am? Are you alright?"
Flowering Graves - Instant Exile target card from a graveyard. Create a 0/1 Plant creature token.Leira, Seeker of Dust feels pretty mythic - I'm guessing the intent is that you'd exile a bunch of creatures while attacking, and then you'd let them come into play again before you resolved her "leaves the battlefield" trigger? Unfortunately, she's crazily broken with any sort of flicker effect - each time you flicker her in a given turn doubles the number of creatures you have out. I think I'd be more comfortable with it if it counted nontoken creatures instead. 8/10One day, some of the disgusting mana bonds in town begin flashing, converged on an abandoned building, which smells like burning meat in between flashes of gall and bile. I didn't have the courage to investigate until a few days later, after the foul devil-host had finished her set-up. What's this? Set up for an invasion? Rudara defend me, has it gotten this bad? Focus, girl, focus - you're unequipped and ignorant. And this is a chance to fix one of those. I took another look at the young puppet. And besides, I could probably take her in a scrap.I knocked on the door, trying my best to hide the disgust I was feeling. It's going to be like walking into a cesspit. "E-excuse me, m'am? Are you hiring? I can sweep and clean, and my da showed me how to handle money when I was just a little girl." Hopefully she thinks the disgust is just nerves.A cat mewed, and rubbed against my legs. I crouched down to scratch it. It stinks too. But nowhere near as bad. "Why hello there, little fella. Where'd you come from?"Wild Thoughts - Sorcery Target player reveals their hand and discards an artifact, enchantment, or land card. Then that player searches their library for a basic land card, reveals it, puts it into their hand, then shuffles their library. "Come smell the flowers for a bit, and forget about your musky study."(Yeah, this is a bend, but it just feels so right.) Setting Up Shop is a decent lifegain card. Green doesn't generally get all that much in the way of artifact support ( Ancient Stirring, and that's more by accident than anything else), but I could see this being in an Artifact-heavy set. Nice. 9/10

She recognized the words that were said, but it took a few moments to put together what they meant. "Sorry, I---" That was Volarian. The woman probably didn't recognize what Leira started to say. She takes a deep breath to put together words in the Arena's language."Sorry. I am looking Sanaerti. Went missing some time ago." There were some words missing there, but hopefully she got the point across. She places her right hand over her chest and lightly bows. "Leira Hoserai, Volarian studier of language and culture."Flowering Graves reminds me of Beckon Apparition, which I don't recall being very good? Still, it'll definitely hate something. 8/10 Linguistic Arts Sorcery Investigate, then any number of target players gain life equal to the number of Clues you control. (If Daimhin lives in the city of Sanaerti, which looks like it might be true based on the response to Lettie, then it can be taken just as well that Leira screwed her tenses up)

Liz peeks back out of her trashcan, sees the nice man looking at him, and waves, eyes lighting up slightly, as she turns back to the other two ladies having a conversation. Her cat-like pupils go wide as she looks between them, back and forth as they talk. She curls her fingers around the rim of her can and watches, examining these new people to her.

Green doesn't generally get all that much in the way of artifact support ( Ancient Stirring, and that's more by accident than anything else), but I could see this being in an Artifact-heavy set. Nice. 9/10(OOC: Just to make it clear, this shop doesn't have a tunnel endpoint; Lettie can't set those up on her own, and she got cats after the project gave her the tunnels, and she largely keeps them in the buildings with tunnels. However, let's roll with there being one cat at this non-tunnel location. An experiment with having single cats at new locations, maybe with help from Pidge.) Lettie feels somewhat uneasy, as she sees all the creasing around the woman's mouth and nose. Is she angry? No, the eyebrows are wrong. Worried? The eyes aren't entirely saying worry. Lettie continues staring as the petitioner scratches the cat, silently curses herself, and finally answers. "In the case that you would be handling money, you would also have to handle the goods being exchanged for that money. I don't think I can trust someone with no training as an apothecary with that, unless there were enough professionals in this place able to provide prescriptions, which I don't believe there are. However..." Lettie motions to the cat. "That cat comes from a place a few towns over. I have several cats living there at the moment, and I'm looking for someone to take care of them and the building while I find new owners. If you're willing to travel that far, you have a job. I can fund that travel as well."Black Clowder Creature — Zombie Cat When Black Clowder dies, target opponent discards a card at random. If a land card is discarded this way, return Black Clowder from the graveyard to the battlefield tapped. 1/1 Wild Thoughts — Yeah, that's a hell of a bend. With that out of the way and dropped from consideration, I'm not certain I understand the context in which this would be useful. You're trading a card and mana for your opponent to somewhat downgrade one of their cards, but since they can discard a land card, you might end up solving an early game screw. The most useful case for this would be maybe later in the game, when you can hit key threats, and give unnecessary lands, but discard is less useful as the game goes on. Personally, if you're already bending this far, I would add some targeting, at least. 6/10

Briar found herself flying further and further away from her tree every day as autumn dragged along. She didn't know how many of them might make it through the winter ahead at this rate...
Her thoughts were derailed by the sight of some new stranger. The strangers around here were always worth some attention.
"Hello there, stranger!" she shouts as she zips closer. "What brings you out here to my neck of the woods?" Legendary Planeswalker - Briar Whenever a creature attacks you or another planeswalker you control, Briar deals 1 damage to that creature. [+1]: Up to one target creature gains deathtouch until your next turn. [-5]: For each creature you control, create a 1/1 black Faerie creature token with flying and haste. [3]
they are probably not in the woods as she says this. still briar's neck of the woods
