I remember using MSE to create so many custom cards for all sorts of games (I made so many Fluxx decks), and was wondering if anyone could make an add on using these card boarder templates for Runeterra to make it easier to make custom fan cards? (https://imgur.com/a/G7r3qSO)

Those frames look kind of squished, did they come from mobalytics? I've seen much better ones coming from the /r/LeagueOfRuneterra discord, which also has a bunch of assets like symbols and the keyword box. As for templating, it's probably possible but that's a whole lot of work and there's not many people who both know how to make a whole new line of templates and who are interested enough to give it a shot. I'll have a look myself but I certainly don't fall into the first category, and I have a feeling the coloured text midway through abilities will be a massive pain (what do u think on that aspect cajun)

If you can link me, I'll be able to edit my post to include the better ones. At least they will be here for anyone who might want to try and would like them

Link is here. Scour the custom card channel and there’s a few nice photoshop files that have been posted, though i think the main one for champs was posted right at the start. (You’ll also see mine, which are just worse than the others, so uhhhhh ignore them)

think the only way to do midline color changes in mse is with mana fonts. might see if Mahx Michael ever figured it out

ye I began an attempt. It's more promising than I expected, though I've still got no clue about the coloured text thing unless Mahx Michael has something.

Good news: the biggest hurdle has been overcome as colour tags turn out to literally exist?? just like <color=“blue”>text</color>?? What the hell. So yeah, it looks like I’ll be the one making the templates after all. I’m the one with the knowhow. its me

Yes, sorry for not paying attention lately. The color tags exists, so you only need to script a way to call them. This can be done in the game-file (script if you have a separate game-file for scripts) in the .mse-game folder. If the color change is related to a spcific syntax (like after a keyword or between two specific symbols) you can just script that scenario into the text_filter and have the script apply the color-tags automaticly when the conditions are met. If you want to be able to change the colors on command, you can take a symbol you don't usually use in the rules text and script it to be replaced by color-tags.
