Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of each week, a winner will be determined by forum poll. The winner's card will be rendered and featured on the Welcome page, and the winner decides the challenge for the next week's Contest! Here we go, competitors: our two-hundred and eighty-seventh challenge! The winner of the "Discount Emblems" poll was kinotherapy with...And the challenge issued by our winner was... To increase your chances of winning and to also make creating the poll easier on whomever is doing so, please try to use a render. Additionally, please try to keep your entry edits all in one post - if you need to change it you can put your old entry in a spoiler marked "Old entry" and leave the newest rendition to be seen. Just use the edit button in the top/right of your original post. And now, time to begin the challenge! Best of luck, competitors!

For anyone who's always wondered how the Phyrexia vs. Eldrazi fight would go, here's your answer:
Emrakul, Glorious Compleation Legendary Creature--Elder Eldrazi Horror You may get nine poison counters rather than pay this spell’s mana cost. Emrakul, Glorious Compleation can only be cast from exile. Flash Flying, trample, hexproof, infect Annihilator X, where X is the number of poison counters defending player has. If Emrakul, Glorious Compleation would deal combat damage to a player, you may divide that damage among any number of players instead. {Phyrexian watermark} 20/20

Listen, I know "Sand" isn't a creature type anymore (And is really only referenced on Hazezon Tamar anywho), but this gets the flavor point across better. Also "named Sand Elemental" feels kinda redundant because I also have to specify they're Elementals. Shrug.

I'm going to reuse an older design which was never used in a CotW challenge so far:
EDIT: Updated render.

Daij_Djan: Here you go, friend. I tracked the image down to her Artstation website, which is not quite the same thing as the normal Artstation portfolio.

Something being put into play isn't really a valid option for a indeterminate timer like that. What happens when this guy dies/is bounced/is exiled? Do you sacrifice them? Do they get exiled? You've got to clarify this one. Maybe "...put it onto the battlefield. It gains "If you don't control a permanent named Mavyrian, Maker of Gods, sacrifice this permanent". Shuffle your library."

Everyone's favourite killer cat! (Also, this is future Doer, hence the white. He protected the Meowtiverse and stuff.)

You've got to clarify this one. Maybe "...put it onto the battlefield. It gains "If you don't control a permanent named Mavyrian, Maker of Gods, sacrifice this permanent". Shuffle your library." I'd imagine they'd be shuffled back in, just like how any O-Ring effect exiles the creature until the O-Ring leaves the battlefield, then returns the creature to the battlefield. O-Ring effects don't have "When this enchantment dies, return the exiled creature to the battlefield".

I've been playing a Batman game lately, and cheesy as it may be, I decided to translate the caped crusader into a Magic card. Now, I tried to make him fit into the fantasy setting, so it's not just straight up Batman, but rather an masked vampire lord who controls a colony of bats. The coolness of the (seemingly generic) title comes from the reference, since Batman is often called the Dark Knight.

Yaseth, Granter of Eyes - Legendary Creature - Horror Cleric Creatures you control have vigilance. Whenever a creature becomes tapped, that creature's controller loses 1 life. The warning signs are clear for those with eyes to see.2/2
