melono: The Party's Hunt doesn't target, therefore no legal or illegal targets. How about something like "If it can't, put a +1/+1 counter" or "Put a +1/+1 counte ron each of them that didn't fight" viriss: Forest und Island are types and therefore usually capitalized in text boxes. My entry: Travel the Lands Enchantment At the beginning of your upkeep, name a basic land type not named for Travel the Lands. Search your library for a basic land card of that type and put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle your library.

How about something like "If it can't, put a +1/+1 counter" or "Put a +1/+1 counte ron each of them that didn't fight" You are right. I thought that "fight" inherently uses targets, but apparently, seeing some of the discussion around Ezuri's Predation, it doesn't. I'll edit the post (and change the card into a sorcery to nerf it a bit). Thanks for the heads up!

Frontier Sightmaster Creature — Human Scout Vigilance , Create a 1/1 white Bird creature token with flying. It explores. (Reveal the top card of your library. Put that card into your hand if it's a land. Otherwise, put a +1/+1 counter on the creature, then put the card back or put it into your graveyard.)"Our home may have been taken from us, but Anea is vast. Even now, I feel our new home calling. It yearns to be tended to, to be lived in, to experience all that our fleeting existences experience."3/4

Fleur: What night were you referring to?

Post by Fleur on Nov 1, 2018 14:52:52 GMT
I don't know which night, just a night where I was less busy Feedback time! Tesagk : Given Sleep, the first half of this (making all your stuff unblockable) is probably fine. The second half is also probably okay, meaning that this is a cool card for most decks that gets extra value in flier decks. I like it. melono : Weird. This has the potential to either be 2 damage to three target creatures, or birds. I don't know, I think I'd like this more if it only fought tapped creatures (and lost the part with the +1/+1 counters), because as-is this just feels like a way of giving GW burn. The playstyle is also a bit weird in that it depends a lot on what your opponent uses, so I'm not a fan of that part of the card. Overall, a bit of a miss. viriss : Feels strange that the white half is clearly stronger than the green half. I'd make the elves tap for G or something, I dunno. Just some way to narrow the disparity in power level. Overall, okay though aside from that quip, and I like the flavor. gateways7 : Damn, I'm a sucker for simple but elegant design like this. I wonder if this might be just a single mana too cheap, but this is absolutely sweet. The flavor text, cheesy as it might be, actually fits. Overall, I like this a lot. Jartis : Fascinating. Interesting in that oftentimes it will play as a land that adds C on the first turn and copies a dual/trio land the next turn. Having said that, it doesn't fix on its own so it should be fine. Overall, this is an interesting card that I think I like, except it should probably be rare? Still cool. Evil Coco : This might actually work in hybrid, since you're blocking with the birds, but it feels off. Strange antisynergy with tokens that I don't like though - I'd make it just sacrifice all green Bird tokens you control. I guess this is okay, but it's not the most elegant. mrlozano : Nifty! I think I like this quite a bit, because it promotes an exalted-style deck with lone attackers - fitting for Bant. Plus, the effect is pretty simple but potent. Overall, it's a cool card, especially with the clause stopping you from just... stacking counters on a single dude. sade612 : Green doesn't get fliers, white doesn't ramp - the former is a flavor thing, whereas the latter is just to stop white from having more strengths than it has. Nice flavor text, but I can't like this because of the egregious misuse of hybrid, sorry. gateways7 wins, with Jartis and mrlozano as runner-ups in that order. EDIT: Forgot feedback for some people. Travel the Lands is sweet, and I'm honestly unsure of where to cost it. I might cost it at 1G with an upkeep trigger that requires you to pay 2, so that you can start ramping earlier. Still, the current iteration is good. Frontier Sightmaster is also great - I like the idea of a Bird exploring a lot. The card just comes together very well, IMO. Revised leaderboard: gateways7 wins, with Fermat and Jartis as runner-ups in that order.

Thanks so much for the win! Since Halloween was yesterday, and Halloween 2 is today, I figured something relating to the best spooky day would be fun. This art is by Johanna Rupprecht. Go nuts.

Nitric Anomaly Enchantment — Aura Enchant creature Enchanted creature gets +3/+2 as long as it's a Plant. Otherwise, it gets -3/-2. Lydia had been known to be a tad too enthusiastic with the enchanted fertilizer.

Protect the Patch Enchantment Whenever a source an opponent controls deals damage to you, create a 2/1 black and green Scarecrow artifact creature token. "PLEASE STOP I DIDN'T MEAN TO HURT ANY OF YOU THEY'RE NOT EVEN BIG PUMPKINS HOLY SH-" -A child that didn't listen, last wordsEDIT: Well darn, and only now I look at the post above this one. Very original me. EDIT2: Jartis I'm not entirely sure if this means that the players other than the damaged player get the token, or that it means that other players than you get the token.

Attachment DeletedHarvest Ritual Instant Create a 1/1 white Human creature token, then sacrifice a creature. If you do, you gain life equal to the sacrificed creature’s power and create a 3/3 green Plant creature token with trample. Careful selection of fertilizer ensures a bounty in the fall.e: smaller token

Sorry for being late and not doing much full judging, but there's been a lot of stuff going on. Anyways, Daij_Djan wins for a really simple but good design that mixes two elements that fit the artwork perfectly, with runner-ups Fermat and viriss .
