I feel like magic is still missing the feeling of having a creature as a mount. Vehicles are good, but they don't completely fit the idea. Valiant Steed WW Creature - Horse Uncommon Mount (You may pair this creature with another unpaired creature when either enters the battlefield. They remain paired for as long as you control both of them. While paired, they attack and block together and are blocked as a group.) As long as Valiant Steed is paired with another creature, both creatures have vigilance. 2/2 I'm playing around with this variant of soulbond since a know a lot of people that assumed this is what soulbond did. Forcing the two creature to attack/block together. But it does prevent the situation of multiple creatures all on the same mount. But it still feels too wordy somehow. Edit: I don't see a way to do mana and rarity symbols yet.

Looks like a mix of soulbond and banding. Although a bit complicated, I like this!

There was a mount keyword in Glacia, one of the featured sets. Reminded me more of Bestow than anything.

I made a keyword called mount once. It did this:
Mount <cost> (<cost>: Attach CARDNAME to target creature you control. The attached creature has all other abilities of this creature, and gets +X/+Y, where X is this creature’s power and Y is its toughness.)
So bascially it lets creatures be equipment. Thinking about it now, I never actually did specify whether the mount would still be able to attack and block. Flavourfully I don't think it should, at least not by itself, although specifying that as well word make it even more wordy than it is.

As far as I know, creatures can't be attached to other permanents, period. The moment it gets attached to another creature, it should stop being a creature.

While we're here talking about Mount, This is from Glacia, 2014's Creative Set award winner.

@canterburyegg: Your version of Mount feels fairly similar to Bestow. Yes, it works differently, but the result is very similar.

An easier and quicker way to word it's ability could be, "When ~ enters the battlefield, pair it with another creature you control. They block and are blocked together as if they are one creature." I'm horrible at Magicese though so this terminology could be way off.

So, let me start by saying I'm a huge fan of this.
I see people comparing it to Soulbond, but the actual mechanic that Mount is interacting with is the status of being Paired. Being Paired is like being Equipped in the sense that it is its relationship to another card. Mount just happens to use the Paired mechanic in a slightly different way that makes them attack and block as a group, and boosts the creatures in general.
It improves upon the idea of Banding which had mostly been a failure due to confusing wording and the way that Wizards had tried to fix it. It is different enough from Soulbond to warrent it being a different keyword, which has happened in the past many times.
All in all, I think it's fantastic. I might make a Creature Subtype called Mount, so that there could be interesting interactions with creatures that don't have the keyword Mount being Paired with a Mount Creature. Just throwing out an idea.
