Everything was on the line. Today, she had a friend, a safe place to stay. But what would happen if the truth slipped? Would she be shipped back home? Would she be able to stay? Would she be any good as an agent without the hat?
The questions plagued her mind, but few as much as the thought of the hat being back, and on someone scarier than she was.
She finally stood up. Reyhsia had left a while ago, promising to keep her secret, but help as much as she could as well. She just had to trust her. Karina put on some of Hanska's medicine, the cool ointment combating the dull pain.
She picked up the Trick Hat. "Soon I won't need you anymore. Then maybe I can get someone to disenchant you and give Reyhsia her hat back."
She froze. Reyhsia had been wearing her hat. Had been for several days.
"It's... it's probably nothing right? Anyone can have two hats," she tried to convince herself as she walked to the door. "I'll just find her and get this all straightened out..." The door wouldn't move. She tried again, harder. Nothing.
"No. No. NO. NO!" she yelled as she beat on the door with all her might. The door didn't budge.
If anyone noticed, no one came to investigate.

The night of the earthquake…
The door clicked behind me. It had been a long, long, long night. Mei, Malextros, that strange new healer beating me to Aiden, Mei again.
My mind wasn’t quite sitting right after it all. I needed a nice long rest.
A clerk ran up to me, carrying a straw hat. “Miss Reyhsia! During all the chaos, your hat finally turned up!”
“Oh fantastic,” I smiled. “Had just about given up hope on finding the old thing after tin man made me lose it.” I nodded my head down to put the hat on, then lingered for a second.After a moment, I regained my composure and looked back to the clerk. "Thank you for your assistance," the hat grinned.
Okus reveals it is Undercover as Reyhsia!
Okus reveals it spent 400 Valor to unlock Artifact Mastery, Creature Mastery, Artificer, and Questmaster.

So. This has been on the agenda for.... Hey Zephyr, Are you allowed to "hide" bought colors/perks/levels? The goal of this would be to look like a (Null) Reincarnation without having to refund a lot of perks. a while. One of the promises I made to Zephyr about testing out Undercover is that I'd answer questions when the cover was removed, so here we go: What is Undercover?The original plan for Okus had been to jump hosts several times, initially creating a subplot where the previous hosts try to expose the hat. I quickly realized having to play dumb about Okus every time it did this was going to get annoying for everyone. And then, Cyber invited Okarina into the 7CI, and a beautiful plotline was born. I spoke with Zephyr about it and we set up the rules to test Undercover, a one-time ability to hide (not refund) your valor, score, and anything you've unlocked, with the one-time ability to 'break cover' and get them back. Okus "reincarnated" with 523 valor unspent. 400 of this was spent to unlock Artifacts, Creatures, Questmaster, and Artificer, then Blue, Enchantments, Spellslinger, a level of CMC, and a level of Multicolor were hidden to give Reyhsia 13 points and appear to be a reincarnation. When did Okus take control?Everything after the end of the Malextros fight, including the first Mysterious Visit, was Okus!Reyhsia. If you go back and check, Reyhsia speaking before and immediately after the Malextros fight are all written in normal text, with Reyhsia's color used for the whole text block. After that, the texts are italicized and only Reyhsia's words are in her color, exactly as it was for Okarina. So now what?Okus's cover has only been broken by the fourth wall, the characters are still as in the dark about the true nature of the hat is the same as it was when it was with Karina. The Hidden QuestionsEach of the Mysterious Visits had a Most Important Question, “hidden” in my opening post. Answering these questions were silver bullets in solving the mysterious visitor, but only solving a few would point you all over the place. Mysterious Visit – What was taken?Cyber was able to figure out that the counterfeit bag of gold coins were stolen from Karina’s room, a massive hint towards Okus, the only one that would know they were there besides Karina.
Mysterious Exchange – Why was it taken?This was a double hint, Windy picked up on one, but not the other. The dagger was taken (and left) to unease Arina, the aether was taken to delay Hannah’s recovery, but not stop it. The goal here is to worry Arina about her daughter (as Malextros had done), without putting her in mortal danger (as Kirino had done). This is also a hint at Reyhsia, one of the few people who would know what taking the aether would mean for Hannah. Mysterious Monument – How was it made?Korakhos correctly figured out the answer was the Atlas of Worlds, but was unable to figure out Sevid’s motive for the previous two events, which is because this wasn’t solely Sevid’s work. She wasn’t there to see Malextros or the fight. Reyhsia was. Mysterious Device – Who made this?I believe the connection to Sevid was picked up here, but it wasn’t particularly solid. By now the Sevid red herring had been planted pretty well. This wasn’t even supposed to get connected to Reyhsia, but Arina delivering the device right back to her was amazing. Mysterious Message – How was it written?Another double hint, although one completely missed by Cyber. Had they checked, they would have found the blood used in the message was Reyhsia’s, which would help with the Kirino swerve (“The only time I’ve ever bled on the Arena... was when Kirino sucker punched my heart out!"), as well as hint to the source of the vandalism. The questio was also a hint towards checking what language it was really written in, looking at it and realizing it was Arqaani would have pointed out Qaraz (who got brought in here) and cleared Karina. Now, if you've gotten this far, you might want to check on your own Board

"Contact Karina Oblay. I'm on the way."Three breaching detonators. Three aether vials. Three more restoration vials. Hannah was not exhausting herself this time, no matter how hard she tried. A friend was waiting for her, and she would not let anything get in her way from rescuing Karina. Not walls, not exhaustion..."Dragon," Hannah breathes out. "Dragon-dragon, dragon."
And definitely not the dragon standing in the doorway. What are the ways past a dragon? She read about them in Mileran. They don't like... much? Maybe she could slip through... She definitely knew how to do that, from all those times playing stealth as an even younger kid. But it was a dragon. If it focused on something, it'd catch her no matter what she did!

Is that why Master Sara gave her three detonators? They do something else aside from just blow walls open. Explosions are bright. Explosions are loud.
Explosions are good enough distractions for a little girl, right?(Let's start using this Tactical Imperator thing I've got) Swift Reflexes   Instant  Exile target creature you control, then return it to the battlefield under its owner's control. If this spell was cast during your declare attackers step, that creature enters the battlefield tapped and attacking. Scry 1. Flash Detonator  Artifact  When Flash Detonator enters the battlefield, draw a card. Sacrifice Flash Detonator: Target creature can't be blocked this turn.

Aiden is sprinting to 7CI. He knows that somewhere, Karina is here. He has a bad feeling about this. Whoever's doing this must have some pride for causing such a commotion - bastards. He realizes 7CI is currently unreachable from the front door... so he runs to the side. He looks at the wall, and places his spearhead against it. He closes his eyes, and sweat beads from his forehead as white mist leaks into the building. Soon, Aiden's body turns to white mist and follows suit, entering the building, and his body reforms. "W-woah... That's..." He shook his head. Time to find Karina. He ran around the black building, his spear tip shining dimly to provide light. He couldn't hear her pounding on the door, and this place was so big... But something in his head told him to keep going.Confused Guardsman  Creature - Human Soldier When ~ enters the battlefield, target opponent becomes the monarch.Whenever ~ attacks the monarch, it gets -2/-0 until end of turn.5/4Confused Guardsman has indestructible because of Aiden of Sunspear.(Purposefully attacking with a weak card... you're not the only one with plans!)

in roughly chronological order... Sevid feels a tremor. Something is coming her way. The Atlas of Worlds is showing a massive fissure heading towards her establishment, quite similar to the one that ravaged the Arena while Malextros was facing Aylin, yet this one's different. It seems to have a set direction, and it seems to bypass people voluntarily, as if someone was focusing on controlling it to make sure it only causes a specific amount of damage. Sevid sat in the bakery's basement, maps strewn about everywhere. On one, she could see Aylin's steps stop. Another showed the swell of magic as she shattered the statue. And on the Atlas, the fissure she had made in retaliation. So the girl had picked up a trick of her own. No matter.Her eyes glow green as the Atlas unfolded, giving her a new blank canvas to draw from. Time to show this kid who she was messing with. She called up memories from years ago, focusing as if she was going to planeswalk there, but instead channeled it into a single word. "Mirrodin." Ink flowed up into the map to draw the metal plane she had been to many years before. It didn't look as clean as she remembered. "Quicksilver Sea." She dragged the line of silver to the Arena's half of the map, and Aylin's fissure stopped as it turned into a river of mercury. Call for Aid: Soul of New PhyrexiaSevid, Pyrulea's Eye  Legendary Creature - Elf Scout  Flash When Sevid, Pyrulea's Eye enters the battlefield, gain control of target instant or sorcery spell with converted mana cost X or less, where X is the number of differently named lands you control. You may choose new targets for the spell.
2/3Contained Destruction - hrm. Seems a bit costly for what it does in most cases. Not a fan of this doing nearly nothing against a heavy nonbasic land base but blowing out a basic one. 7/10

Flash Detonator - a solid common artifact. another 9/10
Rixos planeswalks to the building, with his golves glowing with light and a magical aura emanating from all his pockets. The boy, usually quiet and relaxed, has a serious look in his eyes and the necklace he wears, with the emblem of his house, trembles with every step he makes. Flying Whenever you becomes the target of a spell or ability an opponent controls, counter that spell unless that player has Ilieth, the Protector deal 5 damage to them. 5/5Rixos' Assault - yikes. instant speed discard that's gonna get their best card and/or rip multiple cards. i like this as a sorcery but at instant it gets 6/10

Sevid, Pyrulea's Eye: neat response, I enjoy the second ability implying you have different lands so as to reduce the damage my card can cause. Soul of New Phyrexia is a neat complement. 9,5/10. Aylin sends the fissure and directs it carefully around whoever can get caught in its wake. She is not looking to hurt anybody, she knows that whoever her foe is, a true geomancer will not run but try to..."Bingo" she says, as she feels a force interfere with her attack.However, what happens next catches her off guard. Her enemy actually turned her fissure into... a mercury sea? Her eyes widen in shock when she realizes that whoever she's facing, they're more than a mere geomancer... She takes a step towards where she felt her fissure being stopped, determined to face this mysterious enemy, but before she can get too far, she feels a clawlike hand grab her from behind.Pinpoint Strike Instant If target spell would deal damage this turn, it deals twice as much damage instead. You may choose new targets for that spell. "Don't move, I have you in my sight!"(story gets interrupted by Malextros and will be continued in my board, card represents Aylin finding out where Sevid is)

Time to find Karina. He ran around the black building, his spear tip shining dimly to provide light. He couldn't hear her pounding on the door, and this place was so big... But something in his head told him to keep going. "Hey, Sunspear." A voice comes from above—the orc is, against all odds, perched on a ledge above him. "If you're looking for the kid, her room's that way." a rough but oddly soothing voice said. "I'd listen to me, I'm very reliable." came the same voice from somewhere else. "All of me are under strict orders from Lady Reyhsia to allow no harm to come to the little Karina." said the same voice a third time, now visible as a dark elf came down the hall. "The poor dear's been plagued with assailants these past few days, and I've been paid handsomely to ensure it doesn't happen again." said a second dark elf. "We aren't going to have any trouble now, are we?" the four voices said in unison. gurfafflekins Xirix, the Hunter [-3]s Aiden of Sunspear Confused Guardsman - strange, but an absolute beast if your two drop can connect. Maybe too much of one? 8/10cyberchronometer Xirix, the Tactician's second [-3] chooses cmc 3 to wipe Confused Guardsman and Kauriga Kauriga, Labyrinth Runner - Orc lady's combat form is spooky, but i like the rest. 8/10(This isn't a tactical imperator, you each get the one called)
Karina's little fists stopped beating against the door, and she broke down into sobs. Her sobs felt really... weird, though. That's when she realized that she was muttering some kind of spell in a language she didn't know.  Artifact Nullifier of Planar Energy enters the battlefield with X charge counters on it.  , Remove a charge counter from Nullifier of Planar Energy: Counter target spell. The transceiver on my wrist beeps. Contact from Hannah Delcarlo-Nisita. I think for a moment for the right word. "Connect." Hannah's voice comes through."I'm on the way.""Thank you," I whimper. Hannah makes a lot more sense as a 2/2 when she's carrying basically grenades and a dagger. 9/10 Navigate the Labyrinth Sorcery Exile cards from the top of target player's library until you exile a land card. You may cast a nonland card exiled this way without paying its mana cost.

Pyrulean Scout Creature - Elf Scout Flash When Pyrulean Scout enters the battlefield, if target spell or ability would deal damage to you this turn, draw that many cards instead. 2/1Pinpoint Strike - think this is basically a worse Reverberate in most cases? Think it's fine to drop to 1R. 8/10

Hannah navigates the confusing halls of the 7CI building for several minutes before she hears a familiar voice. "Ah, the little Lady Nisita, hello again! What brings you to this place during such a chaotic time?"Xirix, the Seer Legendary Creature - Elf Wizard Prowess Whenever you cast a spell from exile, copy it. You may choose new targets for the copy. "When you've seen as much of time as I have, you start to learn a few secrets." 3/3Navigate the Lab spooks me a bit, especially since you can cast it on yourself. Think this needs a cmc limit or a few more mana on it. 7/10

cyberchronometer Aiden looked up at the orc. "Hey, am I glad to see a friendly face." he said to her as she pointed out what direction to go. He nodded, before hearing the voices. He held his spear up defensively. He seemed unphased by the fact there were 4 of the same person surrounding him. His eyes went white, like in the state vs. Malextros, and they radiated white flame. His vision became perfect. "Well, I am glad you all think so. I want no harm to come to her myself. Now if you'll just show me to her." he said. His eyes pulsed with burning pain. His spear glowed an intense white. A pulse of white energy spread around him blindingly fast, luckily the orc was above him. Vallow, the Glimmering Legendary Creature - Vampire Soldier When ~ enters the battlefield, tap all other creatures. Whenever a loyalty ability of a planeswalker is activated, you may remove a loyalty counter from that planeswalker. "Strike when the light is blinding - no one will see it coming."4/4 Vallow, the Glimmering has indestructible because of Aiden of Sunspear. Call to Aid: Altar's Reap, sacrificing Vallow, the Glimmering. As the ring of light pulses through the hall, the Xirix are hit by it - but they do not feel pain. Instead, it invigorates them, not fully, but they certainly feel better. Aiden looks to each one of them, one at a time. He speaks, desperation heavy in his voice.
"Please. I just want to see her safe. I don't want anything more." he said, a tear rolling down his cheek. "I just know she's in danger, and I... I... I will not hesitate to fight any of you but I really don't want to. We have a common goal. Please ." he begged.Xirix, the Hunter: Fair target. +1 seems alright if a bit weak. -3 seems on point with Xirix. -8 feels pretty black - good stuff. 9/10.

cajun — Xirix, the Tactician: I like the +2 and the sweeper, but the -3 being able to reanimate enchantments bothers me. I'm pretty sure that reanimating an arbitrary permanent needs white. 8/10Kauriga watches silently, gripping a detonator tightly, but waiting to see how the assassins react.

He recalls the rules for dealing with children: 1) Do your best not to hurt them. 2) Prioritize restraining measures, as opposed to offensive ones. 3) Numbing darts or other gases work especially well. 4) Do your best not to hurt them. Then again, the arena was anything but normal. Tracker of Persons Creature - Human Warrior Look at the top six cards of your library. You may reveal a creature card with power 2 or less from among them and put it in your hand. Put the rest of the cards revealed this way on the bottom of your library in a random order. 1/1 |

Leading the Way seems perfectly fine compared to Enhanced Surveillance and is really cool flavor. 10/10

Hannah's mind keeps wandering around the door, but she keeps her focus. She sets the detonator and runs. "Uh, what? We can just-" tsssss- BOOOOM"Okay, now that."
"That is going to cause me so much grief."Karina runs out of the room, talking so fast Hannah can barely catch the words. "There'snotimeweneedtofindReyhsiaandtakeoffherhatbeforeanyonegetshurt!""Wait, no! Lady Reyhsia will kill all of me if I do not keep you safe!" the elf runs after her. Karina, the Escapee Legendary Creature - Human  Haste : Exile Karina, the Escapee. You may return it to the battlefield at any time. 2/2Dodging the blast. (thought process - Fast flicker makes the most sense, but needs slow flicker mechanically. por que no los dos?) Breaching Detonator - golden on the death trigger, not so sold on the colorless pyroclasm tho? 8/10

"Well," the other grumbled. "I suppose you cannot exactly make things worse now." The other two Xirix followed to the explosion. Xirix, the Collector Legendary Creature - Elf Artificer Whenever you activate the ability of a Xirix planeswalker, choose one - • Copy that ability. You may choose new targets for the copy. • Put two loyalty counters on that Xirix. 3/4Vallow, the Glimmering - interesting hate piece, the etb creature hate and longterm planeswalker hate is a bit odd tho. maybe it's part of the show of faith bit? 9/10 |

"Right, but where?" Hannah taps her transceiver while she runs, not expecting anything special but trying anyways.
"I'll figure it out when I get there!" Was this the entrance? Back where the dragon was?
Was. There's no dragon here anymore. But... also no Miss Reyhsia?
"Karina? Are you okay? We should slow down, we don't know where Miss Reyhsia is or anything."
Karina the Escapee is kinda like a 2/2 haste hexproof, but with random upside/downside? Seems perfectly balancing, and great flavor dodging the pyroclasm. 10/10

The boy in the jacket isn't nearly as lucky. There is an explosion as the detonator ignites. Columns of fire land in all directions as he approaches the 7CI building. My only worry is if 5 is too much damage, given that it's in a 5 power flying body. 8/10 |

cyberchronometer (If you're still interested in assisting at this point) Aiden heard the explosion from where Karina's direction was according to the woman perched on a ledge above him, and watched as all 4 ran to it. He looked to the orc and silently gave the most expressive thank you he could muster - he didn't even know her name but she was responsible for his ability to continue, and wondered if she'd follow or not. Then he sprinted the opposite direction. He knew Karina. She would be long on her way before they ever got to her - he didn't know this building that well, but it couldn't be that long? As he ran, his speed increased, beyond normal stamina as a white aura surrounded his feet. It carried him, and soon enough he saw Karina as he quickly approached. "Karina! Young Ms. Nisita!" he exclaimed as he brought himself to a halt. He wasn't even sure what he had left behind him. "Gods, are you alright? I was so worried!" he said. His eyes still glow bright white. "Catch me if you can, sucker!"2/3 (A gift to Karina - an attack on everyone else you have!) Hermaed, Fleet-Footed has indestructible because of Aiden of Sunspear. Xirix, the Collector: I'd be kinda upset to pull this in a pack because it does nothing but be a 3/4 for 5 on it's own. If you don't have a Xirix planeswalker, it's an overcosted 3/4 at rare. If you do have a Xirix walker, it's pretty powerful - two additional loyalty and a second trigger in one turn, but I don't know how badly you want to toss in a potentially 5 mana 3/4, even with Xirix walkers. 7/10.

Rixos is ready to slam the door and have a fey words with Reysha when the bomb explodes. "Holy c-" Rixos jumps, trying to avoid the fire. He draws a rune in the air, just before the flames burn him. Also, he can feel the black crystal the soldier gave him vibrating in his pocket. He could feel a pressence approaching... "Probably the dragon", he thought. Reysha would have to wait, he had a more inmediate problem.

Rixos could feel his magic shield melting. "I won't be able to last much longer!" The rune finally got on fire and Rixos jumped to the boy. Taking a deep breath, he crossed the fire and drew a circle in the air just at the back of the boy. Then he pushed Flynn into it. The circle closed and the dragon dissapeared, at least for now. "Farewell boy. Time to get back to Reysa."

Flynn Skara: While the first ability is too situational it's very useful in the current moment. The second ability seems very poweful in a dedicated dragon deck, but I like it. 9/10
