Object Permanence: pretty solid one-shot, name slightly bugs me though (of course I'm not taking points for that). 9/10. The elf watched with a calm face as the building collapsed into the void. I'm glad you checked to make sure the place was empty before you did that! Means that was awesome instead of horrifying!" The maps swirl around her. "I'll add your newest work to my perfect map right away!" Aylin's shock is completely invisible on the outside, but that sentence stirred something inside her. "I don't know what game you're playing, but don't drag me into it" she hisses violently "I'll consider the damage to the building as payback for what you did to me and leave the subject there, but if I ever even suspect that you're behind something that happens to me, I'll do it again... but ten times worse, and I'll make sure you're inside!"She turns to leave, she's had enough with this pretentious jerk.Rescue from the Wreckage Sorcery Return target artifact card with converted mana cost 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield. I look around as I wander the settled area of the Arena, my thoughts on what I learned from the merchant and the detective. New Phyrexia... a plane formerly called Mirrodin. Does this mean that the Ineffable's pursuit was successful... was an entire plane annihilated solely to sate a grudge? Or was this expansion another conquest that I was not aware of myself? As I walk, I notice a building that seems to be damaged - oddly, nearby buildings do not seem damaged at all, and the damage to that building doesn't seem to be the result of combat. I consider the oddity for a moment, before noting the sign with the building's name - the Atlas Bakery. Atlas... an interesting name. I approach the building, opening the door before pausing in consideration. However, I doubt that they'd be able to provide me with any further information on New Phyrexia...Lost Automaton Artifact Creature - Construct When Lost Automaton enters the battlefield, you may search your library for a basic land card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Whenever Lost Automaton becomes the target of a spell or ability, shuffle it into its owner's library. 1/2

She waves a hand and one of the maps unsticks from the wall and floats towards her and she shows it to Seiva. "Place is called Kaladesh, really pretty for a tech-y plane, although their elves are a little... off. Anyway, they've got a layer of aether in their atmosphere, though the government's absolutely nuts about controlling the stuff, so would recommend taking that negotiation with care. At any rate, definitely worth checking out for the skywhales if nothing else, those things are a sight."Aether Processor Artifact : Exile target card from a graveyard. You gain 3 life. Aether Processor is definitely rare. As grave hate and also aggro hate it seems minorly concerning? Gaining 3 life a turn for no cost is nothing to scoff at, after all. 7.5/10

"Twenty thousand, huh?" The elf seems a bit distracted as her eyes dart across the maps on the walls. "I don't know if there's anywhere that'll be too happy with you aetherizing their atmosphere, but there might be a few you find some empty places on..." "Shandalar doesn't have much going on, lots of spooky ruins and stuff though. Ah, oh, right. The slivers. Going to have to deal with them first. Um, Vryn, perhaps? Don't know much about it, but it's one of those ugly tech-y planes that seems to have a lot of wasteland to go around. Or if you don't mind some extreme terraforming..." A map floats in front of Seiva, showing a desert with a single tiny city on it. The name at the top says Amonkhet. The elf cracks her knuckles and the glass case at the center of the room opens. "Of course, there's always Tirvana..." She waves her hands and the map unfolds. And unfolds. And unfolds. She has a wild grin as the map grows nearly as tall and wide as the room, the entire Arena map now barely as big as Seiva's hand. A green spell covered her arms as she channeled a plane into a single word. "Tirvana." Ink traced up into the parchment, mapping across the room sized paper. While the Arena's map had defined borders, Tirvana seemed to continue even as it reached the edges of the map. "Most planes are fairly small. You can explore the whole thing in a matter of weeks, years for the big ones. Tirvana takes lifetimes. The tech level's nothing, and the wildlife is usually unfriendly. But if you just need a patch of land to call your own, this place has it somewhere."See Eternity Legendary Enchantment Whenever you scry, reveal the top card of your library. As the elf lists off plane names and shows various maps, I take notes, typing whatever I can into my transceiver. "It might be important to note that we don't really need to put every Volarian on the same plane? And, really, it's probably better if we set up numerous smaller settlements and just keep them connected with Relays and Tunnels."
Tirvana. "Woah. That's... a big map."
"Thank you so much for your help. Hopefully one of these should at least be able to serve as a place where we can settle and just watch ourselves. Development, and cooperation."

The equip cost makes sense, it's not overpowered, and giving first strike just offers amazing synergy with the steal effect. Karina tilts her head at the muttering stranger passing her. He seemed familiar, but...
"Hey, are you that fox Hannah was talking to?" I only knew of two other foxes on the Arena, and it didn't sound like either of them, so it was worth a shot. "Who doesn't hate you?"Core of Calming Enchantment At the beginning of each combat, tap target creature. Core of Conflict - dunno that this is earning the triple density. effect's nice tho. 8/10 "I... I am." He sits down, next to Karina. "I don't know anymore."
Calmed Wisp Creature - Spirit You may have ~ enter the battlefield tapped. Flying ~ has hexproof as long as it's tapped. 1/2 Core of Calming: Coolio. 9/10

I nod, and reply, "Muffins are not something seen in Phyrexia, no - most of us do not require food for sustenance at all. I do understand that many consider them quite an enjoyable foodstuff. I was initially curious as to what reason there would be for a purveyor of pastries to practice mapmaking as well, but I can understand doing so from need if you do not have a dedicated cartographer to perform the task for you." I point towards the circle on the map labeled Mirrodin. "Could you perhaps tell me of this plane, Mirrodin? It was mentioned to me by another individual, who indicated that has since become known as New Phyrexia, and I am trying to understand how this might have come about." "You got it backwards there, I am the dedicated cartographer. The pastries is just cause hey, it's fun, and you meet all the most interesting people along the way."The elf frowned. "New Phyrexia? You're sure of this?" I know it had been a while since I had checked back in, but compleated?A map of Mirrodin pulled itself from the wall to her hand. "This was my map of the place, but it's from a few years back. Can't say for certain if something's happened to it since. Pretty terrible plane for an elf, the place is absolutely covered in metal." She points to various places on the map. "Grass is made of razor blades, sea is made of quicksilver, mountains made of rust, even the life there seems integrated with the stuff." They were the perfect target. And I missed it.Fall from Grace Instant Prevent all damage target creature would deal to other permanents and players this turn. Whenever damage is prevented this way, that creature deals that much damage to itself. Phyrexian Quartermaster - that is a weird activ, and weirdly dangerous. not a big fan. 7/10

The question was familiar, though I realized I hadn't had the thought recently. "Uh... so who is this him? What'd you do?"Clean House Instant Choose one - • Return all tapped creatures to their owners' hands. • Return all untapped creatures to their owners' hands. Calmed Wisp - 8/10

Interesting. For the most part, I like it. However, the hexproof ability actually seems out of place given the other abilities, and isn't white at all (there are only a couple of white cards that grant hexproof to other things - Shalai, Voice of Plenty and Join Shields are the only ones I can find, one of those being green as well). I honestly would've just given it the two flicker abilities, and those activations could be dropped by as well. Still a good card, though, 8/10.I nod, and reply, "If you are willing to serve as a guide, then I can follow. Should we encounter any threats, I shall ensure that you remain unharmed." I focus on the elf, making ready to follow her aether trail when she planeswalks. Guardian Golem Artifact Creature - Golem Guardian Golem can block an additional creature each combat. : The next 2 damage that would be dealt to target player this turn is dealt to Guardian Golem instead. 1/7

Story beats following the Perfect Moment over on Windy's board. As usually, blue lines are from Windy. A light beeping startles Hannah for a moment. She glances at her transceiver and sighs. "Those hours went by quick. Wow. Okay, well, I've gotta run another test, fix it, you know. Then I'll be back, okay?" "Okay," I say as I reluctantly let her go. "Guess we'd never get to Entela if we stay like this forever."
As she heads off, stretch out on the ground and look up into the late day sky. After needing to sleep through the Festenian day for so long, I had forgotten how much I missed sunshine. I close my eyes for a moment, and remember that cold, dark, lonely, angry city. It felt like I had been stuck there only a few weeks ago, and also forever ago. I had a home again. A family, sort of, even if they were a weird one. I had Hannah, the most unexpected and best of it all. I smiled, and wasn't afraid I'd get hurt for it. My life had been turned on its head, for the better for once.
I had it all because of the hat.
I shake the thought as fast as I can. The hat didn't do this. Hannah, Kirino, Reyhsia, even Aiden, that was me. This was our victory, not that stupid hat's. It had taken enough. It wasn't taking this too.--- "Okay, sorry that took sooo long. Too much aether going though the thing and I had to ask Miss Seiva what to do about it. That'll charge overnight and I'll run some more tests tomorrow morning. There's, like, dinner and stuff that's gotta happen tonight." She lays back down with Karina. "So, uh... where were we again?"I lay down in her arms again and grin. "Well," I start, hugging her back, "I think I was reminding you how much I love you." I kiss her again, more confident in knowing this is exactly what she wanted all along.
Hannah returns Karina's kiss. She smiles. "Guess I should remind you how much I love you too."
// Hannah lightly kisses Karina again, then lightly holds and relaxes against her.
--- "Thank you, Hannah. For everything you've done." I feel my eyes well up, so I smile to let her know it's okay. "I was always so scared, so alone, and I thought I would be forever. You got me to smile again. Instead of being afraid, I want to try to make you as happy as you've made me."
"Well, what else am I here for than making you smile and stealing away your fears?"
"Lots of stuff," I laugh. "But those are my favorites." Hannah laughs, and the two of us relax together.
--- As I hold Hannah, the voice of the visitor I didn't tell her about floats into my head. I wonder if you are prepared for the possibility that your efforts may one day lead you to die for another's cause.
I think about all she's done for me. If I had to... I think... I think I'd be okay with that. I don't want to leave her. I can't abandon her. But if the worst came to worst again, and I needed to save her, I would do whatever it takes. Even if it meant that.
But you're not taking me without a fight.

cajun — P.I.D.G.E.: Other than the impractically long name, I quite like this card, though I'm a bit concerned about how much she can throw in the way of bolts. Still, a good nonblue artificer, which isn't easy. 9/10
Mei, Sevid, Pidge, and Reyhsia have defeated Celroen and earned [THOSE WHO WERE NOT REMEMBERED]. While it has no mechanical effects or physical existence, it serves as a memorial to what once was and what could have been. Elsewhere, long ago... Aroa awoke, screaming. Blinking her eyes open, she quickly realized she was under attack; staggering out of bed to the window, she peered out to see the entrance to a demesne just outside, nightmares spilling out of it. The other Guardians would already know it was here, thanks to her early warning spells; there'd be a team getting ready. She closed her eyes, the duty roster clear in her mind; it would be Sagit's team coming for her. No mobility, and their patrol route would put them halfway across the city. They'd take too long to get here. Perhaps off-duty Guardians—no, none of them lived close enough that they could wake up and make it here faster. That left... herself. None of her magic was useful here; she was a diviner, not cut out for field work, merely for doing research and coordinating the actual Guardian teams. She was a waste of talent, really, even if everyone told her otherwise. Any decent mage could do her job (though not, she had to admit, nearly as well); but only Guardians could go out and fight, and since she didn't, there was one fewer hero protecting the city. She smiled thinly—there was one thing she could do even without the real Guardians to support. Even without any combat spells, a Guardian still had more raw magical power than a dozen mages combined; and nightmares and Demesnes could still fall to enough magic in the right place. She stacked her notes neatly on her desk; if this didn't work, someone would need to continue her research into the Founders. Her window shattered as a nightmare broke through; she grabbed her staff from the wall and fired a blast of energy at it, almost without looking. It struck right in the eyes, and she leapt out her window and into the Demesne. Nightmare after nightmare charged her, and she tossed back mana, unshaped, uncast. One after another, they dropped, struck precisely in their weakest points. She didn't have to be stronger. She just had to know her enemy perfectly, know her own movements precisely, and make the optimal move every single time. Fortunately for her, finding optimal moves was exactly her magic's specialty. She strode towards the heart, unconcerned by the amount of power she was using; she was only fifteen. It'd be a few years before she had to worry about burnout. She lost count of the nightmares. Had she killed hundreds? Surely it couldn't be thousands. Fatigue began to set in; half a night's sleep was not nearly enough for this many precision strikes. Finally, the heart was in sight. She tossed one last burst of mana over her shoulder at the last nightmare pursuing her, then sprinted to stand over the Demesne's heart. She reached into the depths of her own heart, trying to draw as much mana as she could for one great blast, to destroy the Demesne and launch herself to safety, and found... nothing. She fell to her knees, pulling at the last fading trickle of mana. The nightmares closed in. She couldn't predict their movements anymore. It wouldn't have mattered if she could.

Arena Map: This card is cool and the "mana spent to cast this matters" clause completely sold it for me. 10/10. "I haven't done anything to you? We've only just met!" says the woman Aylin is convinced is Sevid, taunting her as always "What did this Sevid person do anyway? Seems kinda serious to trash their..." She looks at the map for a second, "bakery? Maybe it wasn't a big deal after all.""Let me refresh your memory" replies Aylin stopping on her tracks but without facing the elf. She raises her right hand and a replica of the first Malextros statue rises besides both of them. "Look familiar?" she asks turning around "Or would it be better if I replicate what I did to it?" she adds, creating a replica of Mei's sword and stabbing it through the "demon's" back, then adding spikes to his head "Or should I go for the second one? That one had more detail, so you're probably prouder of it!" She raises her left hand and a new statue forms, one of Malextros grabbing Aylin by the throat while removing the Gem of Allure. "You know, for someone who claims to never have known me you spared no expenses in making sure to get my suffering face just right. You must be a pretty skilled artisan!" she says bitterly "And who could forget your masterpiece?" She raises both hands this time, and a replica of the final statue rises behind Sevid. "I'm sorry it's not exactly like the original, but unlike you, I couldn't fill it with the essence of the Demon that came out of it and tried to kill me, so you probably won't like it as much as the one you made!"Aylin's eyes are burning with rage, the memories are clearly tearing her apart from the inside.Inner Turmoil Sorcery Exile the top two cards of your library. For each card exiled this way, target opponent may have ~ deal damage equal to that card's converted mana cost to them. If they don't, put that card into your hand.
