The boy suffers no harm from the ice, because he does not currently exist. The book remains on the floor, undamaged. If Saia were to read the page it's opened to, she might see what follows. After a while, the ever-shifting script on the page settles into a description of Parsul's journey home. What Saia does now with the book is up to her. And you.

"Ugh. Fine." Magic starts to swirl to reanimate the old cultist.
"I'm going to want that back, by the way," she adds. Undue just grumbles as the spell began to regenerate the remainder of body. Undue pulled a few assorted bones from beneath his robes and threw them into the spell. After a few minutes, a limped over and rotted man groaned.
"Welcome back, Sabok."

Saia thinks for a moment. "The murder or the un-murder?"
"Htob!"
Saia holds open the World Book. "This thing's written in some kind of crazy demon tongue. Don't think it's quite your nonsense, but maybe you've got some idea."

cajun From the distance, a collection of darkly armored or otherwise dressed men approached the crystal house, overlooking it's far more mundane original as they stepped closer. They stopped a distance away, considering the oddity. "It appears we found something of interest, as the boss put it," one of them, dressed in cloth armor with a few tools attached to their belt, spoke. "Not sure I agree with ya. Sure it's a house made of gemstones, but I don't think she's looking for stuff like this. At least not yet." Another, an elf with studded leather armor spoke, eyes gleaming over the iridescent dsculpture. "I wouldn't put it past her to use that as trick to get us to fetch some shiny bits for her. Coffers gotta be filled somehow ya know," spoke another, wearing more heavy equipment than the others. "Well whatever she wants, I'm taking a piece," the fourth of their group, a tall, shirtless minotaur declared, stepping towards the crystaline house with a hefty mace. Whenever one or more creatures with the same controller attack you, create a 3/3 Avatar creature token with flying. Sacrifice it at end of combat. When you're dealt combat damage, abandon this scheme.

cajun My Knowledge is Boundless: Awkward how as a scheme this will sometimes screw you over out of nowhere, but other times it easily wins the game. Not sure I like the variance here. 7/10.As the zombie cuts itself on the page, the ink begins to glow an incandescent silver. It slides from the book like water and flows into the open wound. As it does so, the silvery glow spreads throughout the corpse, until it shines too brightly to look at directly. And, from everywhere at once, a hoarse voice whispers tentatively into the wind. I exist.
The voice speaks again, louder, sounding almost euphoric. I EXIST!The light flows outward from SABOK, illuminated on the threshold, who has b r o k e n the first bond and bREACHed the first wall.

He looked back at his companions, who were giving him various looks of disapproval. "We can let the Mistress know you're in the business for us, won't we." Another series of looks, but the group didn't bother speaking up. They were willing to let this one be a metaphorical lamb for this mysterious woman. Creatures you control get +2/+2 and lose all abilities. : Abandon this scheme.

Far enough that he couldn't get to them if a certain vampire were to get at him, but not much farther. His hands idle in the pockets of his coat, but they are empty. After a moment he sits on a tree stump. Hm. Can you see me, I wonder? Can you hear what I'm thinking now? Or am I far enough from your focus that I would go unnoticed? He looks around, and sees the edge of a ruined city not far from him. "HELLO!? MISS..." He shouts, then whispers to himself: "I don't even know the name of the person I'm trying to call for..."Hearing no response, he looks now to the sky. It'll be dark soon. This was a stupid idea. There's no way she's gonna show up. And even if she does, then what?

Enchantment - Aura  Enchant Creature Enchanted creature gets +1/+0, first strike, and can't attack you or a planeswalker you control. Because I'm a sucker for buffing other people's stuff. The Rising Storm: 10/10. I can't find anything wrong with this, plus Snowbreathing is interesting.

Xander's blades materialize at his waist as he moves towards the crumbling city. When you set this scheme in motion, for any number of target creatures, create a token that's a copy of that creature. At the beginning of your next end step, exile those tokens.
reuse your etb Ruin Surveyor - mostly just a better Archaeomancer, not picking up sorcs tends to be a smaller thing for blue. 7/10 |
