Hello,
Looking for some thoughts before I start throwing time at a problem.
I understand that data type: style boxes must be square shaped. However, I have a text field where I'd like the text to curve. A quick look at the Future Sight template has the mana costs offset in a vertical line to create the illusion of a curve and seems to achieve that simply overlaying a mask. I wasn't able to find any other tricks that template is pulling to get that effect. Am I missing something in regards to symbol alignment?
I imagine text will be quite a bit more difficult to do that with considering the generally non-uniform sizing of letter/spaces. A couple of thoughts...
I've made a few templates but I still only have a grasp on basics, so, visualizing how I'd make some of these features work, I have a hard time imagining pitfalls or technical barriers that might make it non-viable. I've only used mask layers sparingly and I found that it was much more difficult, so even if this is possible I suspect its going to be a multi-hour project for me.
Any advice or examples of other templates that do this would be greatly appreciated!

- Would a similar mask structure work on text if I made the box width/height? Or by the nature of the text field, does it constrain the whole line via autowrap features or something else?
- If it is possible, would it require a monospace font like Courier? I'm okay if its harder with non-mono space, but I'm wondering if a more experience judge could tell if its functionally impossible if the text varies.
- If not possible, if I did the tedious task of doing one letter at a time and then combining like the P/T field, would that work?
- Is there an alignment (left v center, top v middle) which will be more prone to success?
