Hi! Is anyone here up to date on the Magic story at the moment? (Well, at least up to the beginning of War of the Spark)
I just finished reading War of the Spark (the novel) recently, but realized in the beginning that I had missed a part of the plot up to the novel. Does anyone know where I can find the parts where Niv-Mizzet fights Bolas (the first time) and Ral Zarek tries to gather the Guilds and finally starts off the beacon? I was able to catch up on what had passed through reading this recap (only read Part I if you want to avoid spoilers), but I still wan't to know where this recap is taken from and where I can get the parts of the story I've missed out on.

I'm pretty sure that's in the prequel novel which isn't out yet.

Why would you make the sequel before the prequel unless you start in the sequel and then flashback? Magic story has gone pretty much chronological up til now, how does it make sense to disrupt the flow without even as much as a warning? Thanks to the recap, I was able to put the pieces back together, but do you have any clue how confused I was when I started reading the book, and nothing was like when I last left the story? Well, thanks for telling me anyway  I know it's not your fault  |
