Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of each week, a winner will be determined by forum poll. The winner's card will be rendered and featured on the Welcome page, and the winner decides the challenge for the next week's Contest! Here we go, competitors: our two-hundred and sixty-forth! The winner of the "Chaos Theory 2: Deterministic Hullaballoo" poll was voltaic-qui with...
And the challenge issued by our winner was... Guilds of Ravnica block had a lot of cool things in it, and also uncommon planeswalkers and proliferate. Possibly the strangest thing about the block, however, is the color densities of its mana costs. Consider the uncommon cycle of Nightveil Predator and friends; or randos like Kaya's Wrath and Expansion // Explosion. Niv-Mizzet, Parun, for instance, costs a whopping (and unprecedented) ! Even at common, the Locket cycle gets in on the action with four hybrid pips in the activated ability. Accordingly, your challenge is to design a card with four or more colored pips in its mana cost. There are a lot of ways you can go with this - just in canon there's Cruel Ultimatum, Deus of Calamity, Last Stand... Let's see what you can come up with. To increase your chances of winning and to also make creating the poll easier on whomever is doing so, please try to use a render. Additionally, please try to keep your entry edits all in one post - if you need to change it you can put your old entry in a spoiler marked "Old entry" and leave the newest rendition to be seen. Just use the edit button in the top/right of your original post. And now, time to begin the challenge! Best of luck, competitors!

Ada of Mirrors Legendary Planeswalker--Ada : Populate. : Proliferate. : Create a token that's a copy of target creature. : Populate, then populate, then populate, then proliferate, then proliferate, then proliferate.

A big stupid red card with a small but equally stupid token to accompany it.

"It's a story you see time and time and time again. Peril befalls the masses, and a select few arise to make the best of their situations. In the face of crushing adversity, greatness is found. Empires are born."
"But few, no matter their greatness, live forever. Their works are taken by the cowardly and ruined in their wake. In the face of crushing greed, greatness is lost. Empires die."
"I am that exception. My empire spans planes. Its glory spans generations. There are still so many who need to be brought into our light, but I will not rest until they have."
for those who haven't seen Emperor Tzhai before, he's an oldwalker that annexes/liberates/conquers planes through any means necessary to bring them into his empire. He flips the script on most The Emperor types though, as he doesn't do this for the power, but to bring a perfect civilization to the Multiverse, using the people and resources of a hundred planes with the mind and power of an oldwalker in perfect harmony. The Mending might have thrown a wrench or three into that plan :^)

Bloodstained Oracle Creature - Human Cleric Lifelink Whenever Bloodstained Oracle attacks, you may sacrifice a non-Spirit creature. If you do, create a 1/1 black Spirit creature token with lifelink. It deals 1 damage to any target. 4/3

I have always been a fan of cards like Khalni Hydra and Primalcrux, and I think there should be more big dudes with big effects for playing green.

Sorry everyone for disappearing for these past few days. A heavy migraine attack had struck me down - but I'm finally back on track.
A few user's messaged me these past few days for different reasons - I'll answer every one of you during the next few days (lots of catching up to do ). Thanks in advance for your patience.
For now added a render to voltaic-qui's winning card (hope you like the artwork I've chosen)

And here's my own entry for this week's contest. Meant to be part of a cycle of spells (not necessarily all creatures)..

I know Rakdos already got printed in the set, but I figured Niv Mizzet needed a proper parun counterpart.

Inspired by Wort, the Raidmother. I hope we'll see more of Lorwyn/Shadowmoor before long, it was such a fun plane.

I'm pretty sure that this is not cheating.
Getting back to the old "xxx" and "xxx" formatting of split cards. There are totally way more sayings they could use

I appreciate your attempts to turn Scuttlemutt into the distracted boyfriend meme, but it has eyes only for its wife, Bloom Tender. Sorry, ladies, gents, and others, but they're happily married, and they take their vows very seriously. Interesting card, though.

I think these are my favourite way to have heavy colour weights, besides ultimatums.
