You’ll have to excuse me, I’ve gotten myself trapped in this strange void,
Ral: Aren’t you forgetting something?
No, not that I can think of. Why? What have you heard?
Teferi: Oh, Urza’llah! This dumbass is just too much!
Ral: I’m talking about announcing the winner of the last challenge.
Oh, right. Sorry! The winner of the last Challenge is ThatDamnPipsqueak, for the emotional rollercoaster their list put me through while reading it. Congratulations.
Honorable Mentions also go out to fluffydeathbringer and gateways7, for both of them coming in under-budget, tying them for a very close Second Place. Congratulations.
And now, for this next Challenge, I’m feeling nostalgic for the days of mana burn, so we’re going in something of the opposite direction: Build me a Modern-legal deck with a MINIMUM total converted mana cost of 360 without sideboard, 450 with. Remember, the sum of each card in your deck’s converted mana cost must be no less than 360 if you forgo a sideboard, and no less than 450 if you include one. I want these decks to be competitive against at least 60% of the current Modern metagame field. Extra bonus points if your deck is also Standard-legal.
You all have two weeks; I suggest you get brewing.
DISMISSED!
