Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of each week, a winner will be determined by forum poll. The winner's card will be rendered and featured on the Welcome page, and the winner decides the challenge for the next week's Contest! Here we go, competitors: our two-hundred and fifty-seventh challenge! The winner of the "Are you coming down with something?" poll was HonchkrowDavid with...And the challenge issued by our winner was... Your flavor text is some variation of the phrase "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." What is your card? To increase your chances of winning and to also make creating the poll easier on whomever is doing so, please try to use a render. Additionally, please try to keep your entry edits all in one post - if you need to change it you can put your old entry in a spoiler marked "Old entry" and leave the newest rendition to be seen. Just use the edit button in the top/right of your original post. And now, time to begin the challenge! Best of luck, competitors!

I always liked the nicknames given to arachnids, particularly the name Harvestmen. Beekeepers noticed that when a bee in the colony died, the rest of the bees would carry it outside of the hive and leave it in an open space. Once the bees had returned to the hive, in the middle of the night, the Harvestmen came and did their job.

This might be a bit of a break, but I'm hoping the flavour is strong enough to carry it.

HonchkrowDavid: I gotta say, this is the most interesting challenge prompt I've ever seen.
When 'Poolie Met Pinkie Enchantment :: Assisted cumulative upkeep 3 (Any player can pay any amount of this upkeep cost.) At the beginning of each player’s end step, if one or more players lost 7 or more life this turn, each of those players gain 5 life, then each player may choose up to two cards owned by one or two of that player’s opponents from outside the game and play any number of those cards without paying their mana costs. ---------------- “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened!” —Pinkie Pie “And feel glad that I ran out of bullets!” —Deadpool

{Spoiler}Trusted Peer Creature - Human Soulbond (You may pair this creature with another unpaired creature when either enters the battlefield. They remain paired for as long as you control both of them.)When ~ dies, put a +1/+1 counter on each creature paired with it. "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened."3/2

I hope that the flavor text is sufficiently close to the prompt.

I hope that the flavor text is sufficiently close to the prompt. Might be missing a few commas, but should be.

Return to Mundanity Instant Target planeswalker loses all abilities and becomes a creature with power and toughness each equal to the number of loyalty counters on it. (It's no longer a planeswalker.)"Do not mourn the loss of your spark. Instead, be thankful that I allowed you to enjoy it for as long as you did." —Nicol Bolas

(Super flavorful and makes more sense for people following Battle Boards - feel free to join in the fun, by the way) (Also missing card stuff cause I'm on a temp laptop so it's not exactly what I wanted)

Attachment DeletedDays Gone By Sorcery Scry 1 if there’s at least one creature card in your graveyard. (To scry 1, look at the top card of your library. You may put that card on the bottom of your library.)Draw two cards. “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened. That’s what I tell myself, anyway.”

spazlazAs is your card says "Sacrifice all but 3 cards in your hand" at some point - slight wording issue. Probably need a "...Then, each player discard all but up to three cards" or something akin to that. Or just cut the discard part.
