Between Kunal and Kauriga, the Eyes are easily dispatched.Kunal, Dragon-Style Brawler Legendary Planeswalker — Kunal : Up to one target creature gains double strike until end of turn. : Target creature you control fights another target creature. : Kunal becomes a 4/3 Monk creature with menace and indestructible until end of turn. He must be blocked this turn if able. (He doesn't lose loyalty while he's not a planeswalker.) (Using the and Kauriga's to fight and kill the Eye; if it's sacrificed in response, calling for aid for Stifle.)

ROUND 2 is ended. Judgement comes later tonight.
EDIT: JUDGEMENT
Swiftwing Angel: Appropriate for white and even moreso for Aiden. Still, the fact that it's an 8-mana with triple white (similar cost to Avacyn) makes me think this could have flash or vigilance and still be fine. I love it nonetheless. 8.5 /10.
Desperate Measures: Oi, that's some powerful exponential growth. I like the take on Join Forces-esque cost payment, and this is a decent implementation of it. 9/10.
Mana Conversion: Nice! This is a really creative way to do a ritual and honestly, I'm in love. 10/10.
Argent Barrier:My closest point of comparison is uh, Lumithread Field. This is fine, if not a bit unexciting. 8/10. Reckless Shattering: Neat! I think this could be since it's a color hate piece (and those get to be a bit more efficient). No complaints otherwise. 8.5/10. White-Coil Elder: There's a bit of tension between the reach and the trample, but the third ability here is something I can really get behind. It's well balanced as well to boot. 9/10.
Kunal: We actually have very little precedent for two-mana walkers. I love love the -2. Repeatable removal (the 0) is the slightest bit iffy, and I'm not sure if that +1 should be a +1. Still, how creature-dependent he is makes me a bit (but not that much less) hesitant or doubtful. 7/10.

ROUND 3 The book sits alone on the pedestal and Vera excitedly opens it. "Alright, thanks guys, this is great, just great." She begins reading through it, sifting through pages like a child would through a kid's book. Her face slowly turns to one of disappointment, though, as she realizes that one of the chapters are missing. "Guys, we're missing a single chapter - but it's the most important one." She turns towards the Time-Ring and begins to recalibrate it - thankfully, there's still some juice left in the thing. "Alright, we're gonna go see an old friend of mine. He's pretty good with this kind of stuff, but the ride might be a bit bumpy. I mean, he was. Before he died in a laboratory accident a few years ago. Thankfully, that's what time travel is for, right? Right?" Vera's eyes water a little bit as more than just a hint of sadness escapes her voice. The Time-Ring whirs to life and you find yourselves hurtling through the Blind Eternities. She clears her throat - but not entirely - her voice is clear, but there's the slightest tremor to it. "Alright, brace yourselves." And you do. Only to realize that you're falling six hundred feet to the peaceful park below. Ozone Layer
Plane - Terrana Spells cost more to cast. At the beginning of each player's upkeep, they lose 2 life. Whenever you roll , add and you gain 4 life. It's getting hard to breathe. You will be given goals throughout this round. Currently, your goals are: - Mitigate the life loss. - Stop yourselves from falling!

Rian returns from his fall, only to get teleported to the skies of Terrana. It gets hard for him to breathe. His eyes rapidly flutter open and shut. He doesn't even notice the wing-like formations of petals growing on his back, carrying him safely to the ground. Wait, what? The blood lady was right. This guy makes no sense whatsoever.
He lands softly, into the nearest body of water. He slowly wakes back up, and climbs back to dry land, to meet up with everyone again.Duck Doctor

Rixos is taken by surprise but soon after he draws two circles, one stays just under himself and the other floats to the ground. He falls in the first and comes outof the second in the blink of an eye. He is safe now, but, you can say for his expression that the journey hasn't been a pleasure.Journey Through the Nothing Instant Exile target creature or planeswalker you control, then return it to the battlefield under it's owner's control. It's activated abilities can't be activated this turn. The safest passage isn't always the coziest.

Aiden looked around - and they were high in the sky. Wonderful. He panicked, before thrusting out his spear, and a shield of white light enveloped everyone who had not already found a way down, providing them with a slowed and gentle descent.Tarilia, Guardian Legendary Creature - Angel Soldier Flash Flying When ~ enters the battlefield, prevent all noncombat damage that would be dealt to players on your team this turn by sources an opponent controls. “Do not worry, children. The fall slows, and you're in the city now. Cars honking, people making out, street performers- "This must be the urban heart of New York," Vera says. "I've a friend that's around here, and we have no time to waste." She casts a spell. Muffle Instant Choose one or both: - Whenever an ability triggers this turn, counter it. - Creatures you control can't be blocked this turn. Ignorant Civilians x5 Creature - Human Citizen Defender They're in the way. 0/5 GOAL: Get past the Ignorant Civilians. The first thing Rian sees when he recomposes at New York is a couple making out. Priorities, am I right?

Rian glances up, down, and all around the beautiful scenery. Suddenly, he grabs one of the others' hands, and drags them along as he climbs up one of the buildings' ladders.

You easily make it through the people and Vera leads all of you to a library that's neither here nor there. A sign on the door says the date is August 23, 1993. Vera leads all of you in and pulls out a book in the shelf, which inevitably causes the shelf to fall apart and opens up a secret doorway. "Who are you?", an automated voice booms. That wasn't really part of 1993. "Vera Yamato, cartographer and shaper of the sixth division." The voice whirrs. "Rejected." "Ah, fuck." She looks down at the book she has. "Looks like I pulled out the wrong book. Important book, but still, not the right one. This is Trace's gate, not mine." She puts A Guide to Improvised Artifice on the side. "Sorry bout that, Trace," she says. "You're gonna need to fix that defense system later." The defenses spring to life and you may or may not be in danger of dying. Earthgrinder Trap Instant - Trap CARDNAME costs less to cast if an opponent controls five or more noncreature, nonland permanents. Target player sacrifices two noncreature, nonland permanents. Giant Shark Trap Instant - Trap CARDNAME costs less to cast if a Fish or Merfolk is attacking you or a planeswalker you control. Create a 9/9 blue Fish creature token with hexproof. Aylin is hating the situation more and more by the second. First of all, she's launched into a foreign plane's atmosphere and free falling to a certain death. Actually, with her stength and maybe some geomancy she can actually crash land and tank the hit. Even if it fails it would be a pretty interesting way to go. But of course that goody two-shoes of Aiden decides to intervene and protect her, denying her the thrill of not knowing if she'll make it down okay. Not only that, the place they arrive at is just awful... The excessive amount of people, the loud noises, the smell of sweat and dirt, the smoggy air... This place is a nightmare, who would ever want to live here?! They finally leave the disgusting outdoors and go to a library where Vera actually makes a mistake and triggers some traps.
Now this... thinks Aylin as she smiles This I can deal with! I Call for Aid, cast Survive the Night on Breach Squadron, then cast this on the Clue token and sacrifice it to the green trap. Out in Style Instant Until end of turn, target permanent gains "When this leaves the battlefield, it deals 3 damage to any target." "Anyone can make something disappear, I step it up by making a show out of it!"

Aylin and the planeswalkers dispatch the traps. Surprisingly, the rest of the chamber remains unharmed. Vera pulls out another book and repeats the passcode. This time, there are no traps, just a seemingly endless staircase down. At the bottom of the staircase is a small spot of light. Was the person Vera was looking for down there? END OF ROUND 3. Judging tomorrow.
EDIT: ahahaha I'm so late @cyanogynist Duck Doctor: 1/3 flying, lifelink that boosts your lifegain a bit? I can get behind this - seems fine balance-wise. 9/10. Breach Squadron: Not sure if I'm quite as keen on this one. Although green can definitely stop things with less power from blocking a creature with greater power, I don't think it can stop those creatures from blocking any of your creatures. It's more a bend than a break, but not a bend I like. 6/10.
mocandragon5Guardian Roc: Wind Drake with sidegrade. Solid, if not a bit bland. 8/10.
Lady Mapi Cloud of Butterflies: Neat. This could easily be a bit better or cost one mana - probably give it a 1/2 body, given how situational the ability is. 7/10.
mrlozano Journey Through the Nothing: Comparable to Cloudshift - both flicker creatures, but this one costs more and flickers planeswalkers too. I think this is a cool design, but I think it belongs moreso at uncommon than at rare. 8/10.
gurfafflekinsTarlia, Guardian: Solid design. Honestly this is almost perfect - but I'm gonna have to dock you a bit because I don't really like this as an uncommon legendary, doubly so because the only place its power comes from is from the ETB (which legendary doesn't give a flying fuck about). 8.5/10.
korakhosOut in Style: Slick bolt variant. This works flavorfully and balance-wise, and I'm living for it. 10/10.
cyberchronometer: Severin, Galvanic Genius: First off, I love love love that . Unfortunately, that is borked. It's basically "-1: Target player sacrifices a creature at random. You get a creature.", which is going to make it way too easy to protect Severin, doubly so because you can use it three times before Sev dies. Basically, the issue here is that an excellent is eclipsed by an that allows red to circumvent its enchantment weakness and an that is busted. 5/10.

You enter the extremely bright room at the bottom of the staircase. A bird is sitting on the chair. For a time anyways. As soon as the bird notices Vera, it transforms into a fair-skinned man with blonde hair and greyish eyes.
"Ms. Yamato, you really need to learn which book is the right one to pull. Trace is going to be quite upset."
Vera nodded and gave the man a few bills. "This should cover the expenses for the shark, and I can help Trace with remaking the trap later on."
"Excellent. Now, why are you here?"
"Actually, I'm here with regards to a book we've been looking for. She looks at the cover with hieroglyphics scribbled on it. The Meaning of," Vera clears her throat for a moment, then lets loose an indiscernible flurry of syllables that are completely and utterly incomprehensible. The man nods.
"Just call it The Final Meaning, Vera. No need to overcomplicate it. Impressive that you found it, though-"
"We're missing a few pages though. An entire chapter-"
"-like the ones we have right here?", the man gestured towards a stack of seemingly perfectly-fitting pages that sit on the table.
Vera is speechless for a few moments. "Yes."
"Well, let's just bind them in now," the man began, but there was no need for such measures. The pages flew into the book neatly as it was opened like birds into a cage, only to be followed by a headsplitting headache. The man clutched his head in pain. So did Vera, for that matter.
glimpsing the final meaning so quickly, I see? let me show you enlightenment. enlighten you. reveal to you. revelation. revelation. REVELATION.
The words come fast like water but sound like screeching. They are decidedly not of any understandable language but yet they are understandable. They screech but quietly. They are silent and loud all at once. One last message before things go silent.
funny how words can have so much power, hm?
I'll work on the rest later. Those who have not yet gotten challenges will get them in one (1) day or less. Each person must only address their own challenge and no others. I'll allow up to two cards per person.

Rian || @cyanogynist LOVE. The word echoes in your mind. What does LOVE feel like anyways? A thousand heartbeats thumping, the smell of soap and sweat and daylight and the warmth of day. Love feels like an embrace that doesn't end. Love is a multitude of hands, reaching to touch your heart, reaching out. Caressing your hair. Love feels like strawberries and honey, fluffy and light yet rich and heavy. Love is a paradox. No wonder why we kill that which we love so often. How then, can you leave behind something so beautiful and yet so terrible? LOVE Legendary Enchantment At the beginning of your upkeep, gain control of target creature or planeswalker until end of turn. Untap it. It gains haste until end of turn. , Discard a card: Exile target creature or planeswalker you control, then return it to the battlefield under your control. Activate this ability only if you control exactly two creatures and/or planeswalkers. Shrinekeeper Creature - Fox Enchantments you control have hexproof. 2/2 LOVE is targeting you with that upkeep ability. Rian fell to his knees, staring blankly at nothing in particular. Red roses began growing all over his clothes, his skin, and his left eye. Please, don't leave me! A halo of roses manifests from the ether, floating above his head. Adri! Adri!
The overgrowth slowly spreads from him to the ground. Don't do this to me. Don't go. Rian's eyes become blank, his breath, short and staggered.
I... I need you. I-I...
The answer... the answer is that he can't. He can't. He can't fight it. He's losing himself but he can't. He's been through this before but he can't. But he has to. For Allen.
I love you.
But he can't. "I'm sorry," he whispers to no one. He closes his eyes, then they open again, now glowing pink. He gets up, and slowly staggers towards the center of the room.
But I lost you.
He breathes, foggily and heavily, and stares blankly into the distance. It is obvious that this isn't Rian anymore. All that remains is LOVE.
Please come back. Please.
A flash of light fills the stairhall as a humanoid figure, dark-skinned and white-haired, walks down the room. He adjusts his ornate, white jacket, and readies his sword. "Wh-where am I? What is this?" A-Adri? Is that you?
He accidentally bumps into Rian, covered by flowers and overgrowth, a pink glowing eye standing out from it all.
No! This- this can't be happening!
He brushed the plants away from the fox's unmoving body. "H-hello?"
... Adri?
... It happened so fast. One minute he approached Rian again for the first time in years, the next minute he's lying down on the ground, covered in cuts and petals. He slowly loses consciousness, but not before a silhouette of a man, adorned in blue lights and hovering glass shards, pinned the fox to the ground. "Adri... why..."
Creature - Human Warrior , , Sacrifice Magus of the Combat: Each player chooses a creature or planeswalker they control, then sacrifices the rest. Players can't cast creature or planeswalker spells until the end of your next turn. 2/2 (You want Rian? YOU CAN HAVE HIM. FIGHT ME. Or rather, fight the angelboi. Magus of the Combat goes commit sac ability. I target angelboi.)

Rixos falls on his kness as the visions starts filling his mind. His eyes turn to the color of gold.Dead bodies. The old man called Rixos looks at them, smiling. "Weak. Poor. It's the same." Surronded by guards, the old man laughs at the screams outside. He looks in the mirror and sees his body: old, fat, weak, but covered in gold. He sees his life in it, starting with that day in New York, the day the book severed his connection to white mana. He seems himself crying. But he recovers, a new perspective obtained. He sees himself destroying the book and saving everyone. They pledge him allegiance for saving their puny lives. "I accept your offers." says the young Rixos.Flash-forward. In the Arena. The fox-guy starts bleeding flowers. The disease expands. Rixos planeswalks away and stumbles onto a plane where he finds a cure. Well, he has to kill some people. But he returns to the Arena. And sells the cure. "The price? Your soul? You weren't using it anyways." Useful for some new tricks. He is regarded as a hero, and made honorary menber of the 7CI. A threat no more.Flash-forward. Virteria, his home. He marries his stepsister, officially becoming the heir to House Ker. The look in his father, Dolmos, shows pride, but with a shadow of doubt. "Don't worry father, I will take this House to places you have never imagined". Short flash. Rixos has a knife in his hands. Blood in it. His wife. Murdered. There's another man in the room. An assasin, paid to do the job. Rixos gives him the money and stabs him in the throat. Then he falls to the ground. He has to prepare some tears.Flash-forward. The death of Dolmos Ker. The same day, Rixos makes public his second wedding, with Friona Magnos, the daughter of Dolmos' arch-rival, Regna Magnos. With that union, the two most powerful houses of Virteria meld into one. And is only a matter ot time that he takes over the whole plane.Flash-forward. The 7CI headquarters. He has a conversation with Rettai. He offers him money. The devil rejects it. Then some agents enter the room. Their pockets are full. Rixos shoots him. And he takes the chair of the leader of the 7CI.Flash-forward. Another weeding. Two girls of the Arena, the ones that defy his government over it. He sends them a present. "Die." No more resistance.Flash-forward. An elder dragon faces Rixos. The dragon has an army. Rixos has the Multiverse in his hand. There's no war. Just a slaughter. In the end, even the oldest evils can't defy the power of money. And Rixos is the richest man in the Multiverse.Flash-forward. The present. The old man takes a step back. The populace breaks the door of his tower. His guards fight them, screams of anger turning to screams of pain. Rixos sits down and takes a closer look at the bodies. He recognizes them all. His biological parents. Killed with sweet revenge. His wife. Killed for his greater good. His adoptive father. Natural death, but no without knowing Rixos had betrayed him. His second wife, who loved him, but never had her love back. The leader of the 7CI, who refused to be corrupted. And young guy with a big coat full of pockets. A man who just tried to do things right. The door opens and a hungry woman enters the room. Rixos makes her dissapear with a twist of his hand. He might be old, but he is still powerful. He looks again at the bodies. But one is missing.Another one crosses the door. Rixos looks at him. "Another commoner?" "Hello, my name is Rixos of House Ker, merchant. And I don't aprove your methods." His young self shoots a beam of pure light onto him. He feels the white mana burning his veins. "You... You can't! I'm the richest man in the Multiverse!" Young Rixos looks at the old man with sadness. "That was never the point. I didn't want an empire, I just wanted a family. And you ruined that."A golden explosion surges of Rixos' body as he snaps out of the trance, casting a spell to protect himself from the magic of the book.I take one RICH activation and discard this Master of Purity
Creature - Human Cleric When ~ is put into a graveyard, if it didn't enter from the battefield you may destroy all artifacts and echantments. "I will dissapear, but I will destroy your foul tricks forever, too."3/3 And the cast this to survive the rest of the activations. (By the way, I suppose white gets can't be countered now, it showed up un WAR.) Healing Salvo Instant This spell can't be countered. You gain 7 life.

There are many types of purity. I find, however, that purity in most forms is not worth anything. Experience is what makes us who we are. Those who get caught up on the pure and impure miss out on most of the world around them. The best in all of us comes from working together, mixing with others, not remaining isolated and 'pure'.
In truth, no-one is pure. Nothing is pure. Nothing ever was.
If nothing is pure, does purity exist?

MORTAL.As Aiden's head is filled with pain, he puts a hand to his temple before he's filled with memories. Thoughts that have yet to exist. The image fades into view - his wife, his child, old friends, Karina. Suddenly he's living it, with laughter and enjoyment. He looks at the Eternal Sun, shading his eyes as one does to respect Her. He knows he's earned his respite for the moment. He's fought for so long - isn't it finally his time to relax? And the sun is beginning to set - it's time to start packing up. As they do, the sun fades. And fades. Until his friends are fading. Karina is fading. Melody is fading. Rose is fading. No, no... this can't be happening! Not even one day? All days must end. All good turns bad with time. All suns must set. Aiden is fading. It starts at his legs and creeps, creeps up his body, until it's just his head. He wants to scream, but he can't - his mouth is gone. His head fades. All that remains are two tiny flickers of light where his eyes would be.Darkness.No.Even if I am to fade away, I will have earned a position as an eternal alongside the Eternal Sun. Judging! korakhos: An appropriately powerful triple-density removal card that is both really strong and really cool. 10/10
gurfafflekins: Eternal Sun: I'm not personally a fan of dodging exile removal, but WotC has done it, so. Still, this is an appropriate use of it, especially because it's not completely overloaded with abilities like the God-Eternals from WAR. Solid card. 9/10.
Sun's Loyalist: This works, other than the fact that white can't exile individual lands. Almost gets there but not quite. 7.5/10.
Average: 16.5/20 -> 8.5/10mocandragon5 Out With The Old: Inverse Ravnica at War? Neat. I wonder if this needs to cost 5 mana, but being multicolored does alleviate this somewhat. Overall solid. 8.5/10. Spellweaver Martyr: This, I like a lot. Neat ability that has a lot of applications - though the evil side of me wishes this boy had flash. 9.5/10.
Average: 9/10Lady Mapi: Paraselene on a body? Sure, I can get behind that. Nothing too exciting though. 8.5/10.
cyberchronometer: AAAAAAA repeatable land removal? AAAA. -3 is sick, but I don't think +1 wants to be hitting lands at all. 7.5/10.
mrlozano: Master of Purity: This is far too small of a hoop to jump through to get an artifact/enchantment wipe for what is effectively no mana at all. I'd like this maybe if you had to pay something as you discarded the card, but alas. The bigger issue here is it give black/red a way to remove enchantments and artifacts. 5/10.
Healing Salvo: There's a gain 7 life card for two mana, so this seems okay. I'd maybe make this a bit more color dense but should be fine. 8/10. Average: 6.5/10 @cyanogynist: Magus of the Combat is neat and functional. Not much else to say. 9/10. Final Round comes up soon - but it is in a text document so I don't bang my head on a wall if something bad happens again
