"Long story - demons and geomancers." he says. Aiden looks at the black slime and puts his hand up to politely refuse. I like paying life to Hardened Scales any counter, but doubling is a bit too much for just two life. And also that activated ability is really costly and overall weird? Because it sacs itself I could see it at like 3BW. 6/10.

"Interested in selling whatever you're interested in buying. Need to get some Arena currency to pay the guards and couriers before business gets rolling."
"The MANA keeps track of the local mana, so you can see how big a boom you can make. The BAG can hold just about everything, as you saw before. The FIRE..." she picked up one of the glowing orbs and gently snapped a finger over it. A small flame danced across it before she smothered it. "As for the LOUD... it's for the best we don't demonstrate that here. Let's just say it lives up to its name."Large Ostentatious Uproar DeviceArtifact - Contraption Whenever you crank Large Ostentatious Uproar Device, put an uproar counter on it. Until the end of target opponent's next turn, spells that player cast cost more to cast for each uproar counter on Large Ostentatious Uproar Device. Holding Competitor - this is really hard to evaluate, but I think it's overcosted? hard to tell on it. 7/10 "Interesting collection of thing you have here... My jacket works just like your BAG and the LOUD seems too... loud. How much money do you want for the FIRE?" Rixos takes out his coin purse.Moneymaker Device
Artifact , : For each nontoken artifact target player controls, create a colorless Treasure artifact token with “ , Sacrifice this artifact: Add one mana of any color.” , , Sacrifice ~: Gain control of target artifact with converted mana cost X. Spend only mana produced by Treasures to activate this ability. "I'm not stealing your idea if I pay you for it."
Large Ostentatious Uproar Device: I've never managed to play Unstable so it's hard for me to evaluate contraptions. This seems a little oppresive but not that much. 7,5/10 (I really don't know) .EDIT: I just realized this is awfully similar to an entry you made here. Sorry?

Pidge frowned. The FIRE was the cheapest thing she had laid out. She was barely going to get any capital at this rate. "Right, fine, the usual price of FIREs is... hold on." The kithkin sideyed the coins Rixos was holding. "Let me just..." She started twisting at the lenses on her goggles until finally a green glare shined across them both. "Let's put the SIGHT to work here, and yea. You got a handful of rocks there buddy. So tell me, didja let yourself get scammed, or do ya just pull this scam on everyone that goes through here?" Are you calling me a scammer?” The fury can be seen behind his eyes. “I would never try to rip off a customer, nor other fellow merchant. I have HONOR; a code my house follows!” Rixos is very angry now, but he takes a closer look at the money, and he realises it is, in fact, fake. Just stones. “What? This can’t be! I swear it was money!” Now his voice trembles. “That Reysha woman gave it to me…" Rixos’ anger returns, and it’s very clear to everyone around he is not in good mood. “I will have a few words with her. I’m sorry, little fellow, but we will have to put off our trades. If it was only me, I will let it pass, but I must, for the honour of my family, solve this.” Rixos turns around and planeswalks away, decided to find Reysha.

Aiden nodded, shaking his hand. "Sounds good. Whenever he would look at it, his vision became slightly foggy. It pulsed with energy from time to time.
Raxis' Crystal Shard: Name feels a bit legendary in nature but eh, and I appreciate you taking the name and running with it, and really works with what I did as an artifact. 10/10.

Incarnation of Hatred - ah, hrm. i feel like i'm missing something here. the body is very overcosted, but the grave trigger is very undercosted, even assuming you even do it the fair way and don't just discard it for free. on top of that, it doesn't seem to do anything with Pidge? maybe dodge getting taken with the -7, but it won't be there to block either so :/ 4/10

Rixos weighs the coins in his hand, wondering what he could do with them to increase his profit. Probably take them to a bank.
Pontiff of Funerals
Creature - Human Cleric Whenever you sacrifice a permanent to activate an ability of a permanent you control copy that ability. You may choose new targets for the copy. In the Syndicate even your death makes money.2/4 Curious Currency: The most interesting part seems to be the second ability. Sap of the Alttree Instant Target creature gets +2/+2 until end of turn. If it's green or white it gains vigilance and lifelink until end of turn. "Relax cat! He is very active now!"
Catnip Kitten: Nice uncommon, it making a Plant allows you to play it in a Cat deck without further plant synergy. Anyways I thinks it could easily be a 2/2. (As side note, the second ability should be "Tap an untapped plant you control" because the way its worded you can retap the tapped plant and give infinite power.) 9/10

The merchant shows you lots of metal pieces, but he doesn't seem to know very much of what they are used for.
Quicksilver Key Artifact ~ enters the battefield with a charge counter on it. , : Untap target colorless permanent. , , remove a charge counter from ~: Copy target activated or triggered ability of a colorless permanent. Mechanized Mindglancer: I'm not an expert in contraptions but this is, at minimun, an extra card every upkeep, so I believe it should be at least uncommon, just because power level. The part of looking at hands seems also okey, but it's definitley not common (I think this could justify it being a rare). 7,5/10

mrlozano Contraptions are assembled into one of three sprockets. Your crank counter moves to the next sprocket during your upkeep, which then cranks each contraption in that sprocket, so each contraption normally triggers once every third turn. Otherwise, your criticism was pretty spot on. "That key looks mighty interesting. I'd love to take a closer look. The name's Kaya, by the way." She looks at the key, the excitement in her eyes betraying the calmness of her words.Quicksilver Key: This looks alright, I don't really see anything wrong with it. Interesting with counter strategies. 8/10 Excitement Instant Target creature attacks this turn if able. Draw a card "I can't wait!"

I smiled at him. "No, I think that'll be all for now. I'll be back, though - I have some charms and such that I'd like to find a seller for."
I neglected to tell him about how iselsi worked, or that they weren't precisely coins. Still, most off-planers seemed to prefer silver for its monetary value rather than its protective value, so it'd probably work itself out.24-Hours Salesperson really, really should be blue. There are a total of 14 white cards with Scry, and all of them are either multicolored or instants (with the mild exception of Senate Griffin, which can be considered monowhite if you squint). Also, that trigger feels weird in a "punishing players for doing something that they're going to do anyway" way. I'm giving it a 6/10 because it feels so off-color, and not in a good way.

I walked up to the sharper - looked like a merchant enough. I miss the street vendors in place of these quirky bings. Necessary evil though. Evil Coco This doesn't work that way. It's my BB so I'm the one who has to respond to the cards. You can send cards as an attack (or a gift) to me and I will respond to it. To the rest, I'm having a busy weekend, I will try to respond tomorrow to you all.

I walked up to the sharper - looked like a merchant enough. I miss the street vendors in place of these quirky bings. Necessary evil though. "Hey, kid." he said, his voice grizzled as he pulled out a lighter and continually turned the flame on and off. "You got any kind of decks in your repertoire?" he said. God, I hope he does. Missing my fix.Addictive Impulse Sorcery Each player puts the top two cards of their library into their graveyard. Feels good now, feels worse later.Translations (Rixos may or may not know these): sharper - a swindler/sneaky person bing - crazy decks - packs of cigarettes Rixos looks at you confused. "Decks? Like cards decks or what?" He takes a deck of cards out of a pocket.Confused Merchant
Creature - Human Citizen When ~ enters the battlefield return a card at random from your graveyard to your hand. "Can you specify?"
2/2 Addictive Impulse: I disagree with the falvor text, it kinda feels bad when you cast it, but feels better later when you can exploit the graveyard. I think it could mill three, two is a little too weak. Anyways, a fine inclusion if you want self-mill. O normal mill. Or both. 8/10

mrlozano"No, all I need is a few parts, but thank you for the offer. I prefer to make my machines myself, you understand." After looking through the its of metal and wires a little bit more, she stands. "You don't seem to have what I'm looking for, though I think we'll be doing business again in the future." And with that, she walks away.Display of Machinery: This is something that would need to be playtested thoroughly, as it's kinda hard to tell the power level of the card. It's definitely a rare. Also, as written, it puts a charge counter on itself when it enters the battlefield. Not sure if that's intentional or not. On a much less functional note, artifacts are objects, so the name should be a noun (possibly with descriptors). Your card's name is a verb (with a descriptor), which is an absolute flavor fail, and has me uncomfortable rating this higher than 6/10

I watched as he pulled out the cards. "Uh, no. Sometimes I forget I speak with a dialect. I mean a pack of cigarettes." I said, taking out a flask, unscrewing it, and taking a sip. "As you can tell, I'm a fan of my vices." I said, placing the flask into my coat again and pulling out some coins - one side of them had a symbol that looked like a pistol, and the other was an image of a proud looking cat. Very intricate. "I've got some dough for it. Er, gold. Dialect again." I said, reminding myself to go back to Nore at some point to speak easy at a speakeasy.Intricate Coin Artifact - Clue Sacrifice ~: Add one mana of any color. , sacrifice ~: Draw a card. "It's obviously a counterfeit. The cat's paw's a couple centimeters above where it should be."
Confused Merchant: This feels more . I don't think it's absolutely a bend, but a 2 mana 2/2 in that returns any card to your hand, even if random (which is more than anything) feels pretty wack. 6/10.

"It's obviously a counterfeit. The cat's paw's a couple centimeters above where it should be." "Oh. Cigarettes. Let me look. I think I have some. I'm not a man of vices. They are harmful for my job." Rixos hands you a packet of cigars. They don't seem industrial, more like leafs with some kind of paper. "I bought these from some druids. I think they may serve you, but probably won't have the same effect as the ones you are used to."Hallucinations of the Adict Enchantment Whenever a permanent is put into an opponent's graveyard from the battlefield create a token that's a copy of it. If it's a creature, that token gains haste. Exile that token at the beginning of the end step. You need it. If you don't have it, you see things. Thing that should be gone. They drive you crazy.Intricate Coin: Clues are not a subtype, but I love this take on them. A very neat design to showcase a mechanic. 10/10

Uh, sorry to interrupt mrlozano, but clues actually are a subtype, just not used on any nontokens. The wording on investigate says "...create a colorless Clue artifact token with..." rather than "...create a colorless artifact token named "Clue" with...."

I looked at the joints suspiciously. "Er, no thanks kid. I'm more into the nicotine part of the cigarettes." I said. Oddly dull for a planeswalker, but I like what I like. "Thanks anyway, I think I've got a couple spare in here somewhere..." I said, walking off, rooting through my coat -- that quack wasn't the only one who had lots of storage space.
(Feel free to chase him down - he's a paying customer after all)
Hallucinations of the Addict: Bit of a weird/long name, but that's fine. This is more of a red effect, I feel, probably red/black, but I could see it bent towards black if the set was right. 7.5/10 but practice what I preach so 8/10.

Anyways, that just makes gurf's card even better.
