LET'S DO THIS.
What are the Featured Sets?
Good question. I'm glad you asked. The Featured Sets is a page on the MSE Forums where the very best sets from MSE's community are displayed for all to see. It's like a trophy case, except instead of athletic trophies and pictures of high school quarterbacks, it's .mse-set files and pictures of pirate planeswalkers (so, objectively better).
Where are the Featured Sets?
Currently? Nowhere. But soon they'll be under Additional Resources, just like the Forum Rules and the MSE Glossary.
Sounds great. Feature my set, please.
Well hold on there, buckaroo. It's not that simple. To have your set featured, you must first submit it to the site staff with a few additional pieces of information (more on that below). We'll review the sets submitted to us and determine which sets will represent our forums in the proverbial trophy case. Of course, we welcome all set submissions! The more people involved, the better our chance of representing everything our community is capable of.
What information exactly is needed to submit my set?
In order to submit your set to us, please provide the following information in a PM to me (CanterburyEgg) by February 15, 2019:
When will I see my set if it's Featured?
Another great question! To start, five submitted sets will be selected and displayed on the Featured Sets page (with no more than one per designer, though you can submit as many as you'd like). On March 1, 2019, check the Additional Resources dropdown to see what sets have been chosen as our first representatives of the remade Featured Sets page! After that date, you can still freely submit sets through the previous method. Sets submitted during this period will have a chance to rotate onto the Featured Sets page sometime down the line. If you already submitted a set, it will automatically be considered for all rotations, so don't worry about needing to submit a second time if you miss the cut during the first submission period.
Cretio Created was the obvious pinnacle of the previous Featured Sets page. Will it still be featured on the rebooted page?
No.
I personally can't wait to get this show back on the road, and I hope many of you are excited for it as well. Any questions or feedback can always be sent my way, especially if I missed something in this post. Otherwise, I look forward to receiving any and all set submissions. Let's get these trophies back in their case!
