Because the very point of this game is that it's a sort of community created set. I didn't want to create the whole card apart from the P and T and the tribute 3 ability; that goes against the whole point of the challenge. With that point, I was attempting to illustrate how, to quote a cliche, less is more; not every card has to be really complicated.

I also vote for change (obviously) but I believe we have to be very careful about how much we discuss individual cards. However, I don't necessarily agree that the card's properties should be given in a certain order. In fact, I believe it to be quite refreshing when only a name or an artwork (or a flavortext?) is given. Furthermore, doctorstrangelove and Lady Mapi are probably both right. We shouldn't try do make a perfect set but to have fun with this unique game, yet the set should also feel like a set and not like a random collection of weird jank cards that try to be flashy but aren't.

For a start, it's essentially just a vanilla 3/4 for five mana, that sometimes enters as a 0/1 if there aren't any creatures/enchantments in play. Not to mention the name makes absolutely no sense; molten schizoid sounds exactly like a red elemental, not a green/blue shapeshifter. I suggest we just go back to when the only details of the card were its name, its P + T and the tribute 3. |

Whoha, ok, ok STOPI kind of feel that we are taking this game apart and it's not fun anymore. I take my entry (adding the ) back. Now how about this: We just continue with the game and someone (not me) can start an own thread about discussing the cards (and please post a link to it here). I'll gladly discuss any issues in another thread, but I really feel that this is taking the fun out of the game if we do it here. Next cardInstant |
