I think spawn-ifying enemy creatures is a good way to flip the concept on its head and make it distinctly Eldrazi-influenced. Wasn't sure what would be the best fit so I tried a "caring about lands" mechanic. Spider SealToken Artifact - Stamp , Sacrifice this permanent: Put a +1/+1 counter or a shroud counter on target creature. Activate only as a sorcery. Corresponds to , specifically the scrapped version from Planar Chaos. The idea was to bring back an old keyword that acted 'weirdly' while fitting the general anti-spell theme.

This was designed in my sleep, after thinking about Matthew Perry's death and the demons that haunted him, then thinking about my own demons: Thanatophobia Legendary Creature--Incarnation When you cast this spell, exile this card haunting target creature. Thanatophobia enters when that creature leaves the battlefield. Fear, trample, deathtouch Discard a card: Thanatophobia loses fear until end of turn and must be blocked each combat this turn if able. 7/7 EDIT: I decided to make this slightly better by adding "must be blocked".

Search its controller’s graveyard, hand, and library for any number of cards with the same name as that spell and exile them. That player shuffles, then draws a card for each card exiled from their hand this way. Inspired by losing to a bullshit Standard fathomless descent deck with Atraxa, Lili, Squirming Emergence, & Terror Tide: Scion of Progenitus Creature--Hydra Scion Flash When you cast this spell, exile all cards from each opponent’s graveyard. Scion of Progenitus enters with an additional +1/+1 counter on it for each card exiled this way. Vigilance, reach, trample, haste 0/0

Now that mana burn is no longer a thing, there's nothing stopping any player from tapping out before this would trigger, thereby redering it unfortunately useless. It's true that they can just tap their lands, but I don't think that's useless. A lot of control and tempo decks play almost entirely on their opponents' turns, and need to leave up mana to do that. If every land they leave untapped costs them life, it makes all their interaction a lot more costly. And if they do decide it's worthwhile to pay the life to keep the lands, you might have a better idea what's in their hand and you might be better able to play around it. (Or they'll bluff you, but that's still enriching the gameplay.)

Inspired by one of the best plays I've ever seen in my entire life; also the mythology: Eros Legendary Enchantment Creature--God Indestructible, flying, hexproof Soulbond with Psyche (You must pair this permanent with another unpaired permanent named Psyche when either enters. They remain paired for as long as both are on the battlefield.)
All creatures not named Eros or Psyche have soulbond. (You may pair this creature with another unpaired creature when either enters the battlefield. They remain paired for as long as you control both of them.)
As long as the number of soubonded creature pairs on the battlefield is less than five, Eros isn’t a creature. Each creature in a soulbonded pair gets +1/+1. When you lose control of a creature named Psyche, return Eros to its owner’s hand and Eros deals 2 damage to you. 4/3 Psyche Legendary Creature--Human Lifelink Soulbond with Eros (You must pair this permanent with another unpaired permanent named Eros when either enters. Designed in my sleep, based on the WarCraft III spell: Entangling Roots Instant This spell costs less to cast if it targets a player while they’re taking an extra turn. Target player loses X life and skips the next X phases of a turn. What it means to skip a phase, aside from the obvious: if a player is required to make a decision during a phase that they're skipping, that player can't, so play proceeds as though they made no decision. This means no attacking, no blocking, no casting spells, & no activating abilities. Abilities that player controls that would trigger during a skipped phase don't trigger, because that player is skipping that phase. If the end phase is skipped, that means the entire cleanup step is skipped for that player, and all that entails. If X is greater than the number of phases remaining in the current turn, then phases in the next turn are also skipped, and so on, and so on. Have some Class(es): Group Hugger (Gain the next level as a sorcery to add its ability.)If a player would gain life, each player gains that much life instead. When Group Hugger enters, you gain 4 life. ------------------------------------\/-------------------------------------- : Level 2 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- If a player would draw one or more cards, each player draws that many cards instead. Obsession is an ability word I've used over the years that usually checks if a spell of the same color is played on the same turn E.g. "Obsession with red". In this cycle, it's been loosely restyled as "Obsession over <action>" and instead checks if a specific action happened this turn. Diamond-kin Zealot Artifact Creature - Golem Knight Obsession over Liberated Allies - Whenever another creature you control enters, if it shares a creature type with ~, ~ gains first strike and lifelink until end of turn. 2/2 "As you would not mine iron from your kin's hearts, I would not let you mine life from my kin's veins."I Refuse to Leave Ongoing Scheme (As you cast this card, put it into the command zone and put your previous scheme on the bottom of your Scheme deck. This was designed yesterday in my shower: Titanomancy Legendary Kindred Enchantment--Giant This spell can’t be countered. Whenever a creature you control with power 6 or greater enters, scry X, then draw half X cards, rounded up, where X is that creature’s power. You have no maximum hand size as long as the total combined power of creatures you control is equal to or greater than your starting life total.
