The telephone game is based upon the party game of telephone.
The game is on a post by post basis, pick it up and add to it at any time that you feel inspired.
In each post you need to include the following
- Rate & critique the card presented in the post above your. In the case of Ninja (double posts) then rate both of the cards
- Make a card that shares four aspects of that card. See below. In the case of Ninja (double posts) then you can pick one of the two posted cards (your choice).
- List of the shared aspects.
Card Aspects: I'm intentionally leaving what defines an aspect open as it can mean anything from getting Boros Charm from Chaos Charm because they are both red and both a charm, and both do direct damage.
Examples of things that are for sure shared aspects. Color, Card type, Converted Mana Cost, Power/Toughness, Card Sub-Type, Ability Keyword, Ability Mechanic
Things that could define a shared aspect. Ability type (burn, sacrifice, card drawing, cantrip, etc), Sub-Themes (charm, hate bear, etc), Name Theme (Boros, Penumbra, etc), Flavor Themes (voice of the flavor text, anything else flavor text based)
I'm going to start by using one of our current cards of the week as the up for my post.

- Ability (At the beginning of combat on your turn, creatures you control with power or toughness 1 or less)

UP: This card should end the game in either the turn the player played it, or in the turn of the opponent. You're removing 20 cards per extra card draw after all. 4 card draws and you're through a commander deck at that point in the game. A bit too much for my taste, but I like what it's going for. UP: Pretty solid design. Not the kind of token-creating you see coming from red very quickly (1/1's more often. Or dragons), but fair enough. Up: I’m always up for a Nantuko Husk variant, and this fits the Pirate theme nicely. Menace is a great bonus since Pirates are a bit harder to get than random Saproling tokens and the like. Demon’s Touch Sorcery Target creature you control gets +6/+6 and gains trample and menace until end of turn. Sacrifice that creature at end of turn. ”Bless your soul. Up: Good balance for an alpha strike, especially since it's at sorcery speed, meaning you'll have to set it up before blockers are declared. Blade of Souls Artifact - Equipment , Sacrifice a creature: Equipped creature gets +X/+0 until end of turn, where X is the sacrificed creature’s power. Equip “Bless your soul. UP: Nice way to both boost and sacrifce. Fits nicely as an uncommon with how expensive it is. Blade of Lost Spirits Artifact - Equipment Imprint - When ~ enters the battlefield, exile up to three creature cards from your graveyard. Equipped creature gets +X/+0, where X is the amount of creature cards exiled by ~. Equip - Exile a creature you control. Bless your souls. UP: A nice early control card, with mild milling. It will have plenty of decks that would like it. Up: That scry/exile combo is a really fun way to set itself up for its activated ability. I don't think it's too powerful, but you're definitely gonna be happy to play it, especially if you've built around it.
