Anyone remember this old card game that used to be on Kongregate? Had a sort of popular charm to it despite the fact devs powercreeped it to heck and back, but it did use a Booster Pack Model so Sealed or Draft is possible with it, in theory. I'm thinking of making a small plugin for Cockatrice in the future to play it sometime. |

That was a good game, I really enjoyed it. I got really into 'Warstorm' which was an amazing game that died off because the company that bought them out let it die so they wouldn't have any competition when they came out with their own, trash clone of it. Really sad. I also played 'Heroes of Might & Magic' which I just recently found out is dead now too. Huge shame, because that was probably the best online TCG I've ever played. 'Cabals: Magic & Battle Cards' is another fantastic game; mixture of CCG and board game.
I'd be down to play 'War Metal Tyrant'. I had completely forgotten about it, but I spent so many hours playing it. Maybe I'll look into making plugins for these other fallen online card games also.

By "Heroes of Might and Magic", do you mean Might and Magic: Duel of Champions ? And yeah, that's a really scummy thing to do to a card game. Makes me think of a game called Mobile Weapon, which was an RPG on Newgrounds that basically suffered the same fate and got turned into a few junky facebook games after being brought out and left to die. I decided to start toying with the idea of making a Cockatrice plugin but then I realized Cockatrice has no way to simulate booster drafts and any alternate methods would require additional downloads and thus be incredibly klunky at best. I might have to reinstall LackeyCCG.... |

I played a lot, and I mean a lot of WMT. I was actually in talks with someone about coding me something similar for RPG Maker Ace.
I'd be totally down for it.

ZephyrPhantom This is the first I've heard of WMT; it sounds interesting.  On the topic of “other dead card games”, I'd personally love to see templates for .hack//ENEMY, WARS, and Mega Man NT Warrior.
