Would it be to make a gradient border for cards? Like so: In what intended use case? Digital or Print media? I think it would be simple enough for digital and while it is likely doable in print I wouldn't recommend it, it likely increases the cost per card, the time to print, the time to dry and the amount of inconsistency in your printing process.

Digital. I just want to use it to showcase color-shifted cards (the example of red blue is actually wrong for the card it's used on, it's just an example)

It's doable as a different frame. if it's supposed to be different per card is a bit trickier but should be as well.
