I talked with @daij_Djan and it would be helpful if the members of the community who like to offer help (like those who post in Card Clinic) to contest participants who ask. No one is obligated, of course, but for those of us trying to learn, it could be very helpful and make the contests more than just a competition. So I'll start by saying... I'd like some feedback. 0 votes in this and the last CotW tells me that I'm doing something wrong.  |

@ Tesagk: The general issues Forecast has in general aside, I like the concept behind your entry, but it feels like the execution needs some fine tuning. The Forecast cost feels like it could be a bit cheaper imho, also you need to slightly change the wording as even after revealing the card it returns to being hidden afterwards - so you can't have your card refer to itself this way and need a "Creatures not named ~ entering.." wording. Also I'm not a big fan of combining gold costs with hybrid costs as done in the Overlords casting cost - even though that's more of a personal preference, tbh. |

Tesagk: Gonna be honest I skimmed over your entry cause the missing font was ugly. It was also ugly because of the mixed mana cost though, the new one you suggested is much better although it would be fine at just as it's just a french vanilla. The forecast cost ought to be costed similarly though; paying for haste and trample is fine but paying is less so. The "creatures entering the battlefield this turn" wording is pretty awkward but that's just another problem with forecast I guess. Finally I think it's more uncommon than rare, depends on how the numbers end up (where did the p/t go?) You can actually ask for help or feedback when you post your entry during the contest itself; I used to do it all the time when I started (still do sometimes) and everyone's been very helpful.
