aighto {viriss - Chronomancy} The base rate of this card is an instant Time Walk for which is rather silly; modern extra turns usually cost at least 6, are sorcery speed, and exile themselves. It has , so it's harder to cast, but I don't know why it's : just because of the limit? I'm not a fan of a spell that just says "you win the game" because of how uninteractive it is, and judging by miracles decks in eternal formats, Miracle isn't enough of a hoop to justify it. The render is quite sexy, though. {notfoxwolf - Poison Plunge} Poison Plunge
Enchantment Creatures you control have wither. At the beginning of your upkeep, if there are 12 or more creatures on the battlefield with -1/-1 counters on them, you win the game. Wither is a sensible enabler, but in reality would usually mean your small creatures just don't get blocked and your big creatures are traded. The issue with "creatures with -1/-1 counters matters" is that -1/-1 counters tend to cause death, and stockpiling them on creatures you don't control sort of works contrary to their purpose. This could be more interesting if the first ability allowed to you put counters on your own creatures somehow. {digiman619 - Vraska, Golgari Infiltrator} Legendary Planeswalker -Vraska : Create a 1/1 black Rogue creature token with skulk (It can't be blocked by creatures of greater power). : Destroy target artifact, creature or enchantment. : Choose a creature. That creature gains deathtouch and "When this creature deals combat damage to a player, you win the game" (This effect lasts indefinitely)A 1/1 with upside is a common +1 on a 4 mana planeswalker, so this plus is likely a bit strong. The minus is very strong, probably too strong as it does a good Vindicate impression for 1 extra mana while leaving a Vraska to stick out and churn out tokens. The ult is less exciting but very quick to reach. Kind of sucks that it can't follow the rest of the established Vraska template like you said, but that's the limit. Interesting that you can choose an opponent's creature, though I guess a planeswalker ult just giving a creature defender isn't much to get excited about either. Is there a reason why this doesn't target? {gamma3 - Cruel Extortionist} Cruel Extortionist Creature-Vampire Extort Whenever you pay for Cruel Extortionist’s extort ability, put a -1/-1 counter on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a -1/-1 counter from Cruel Extortionist. When Cruel Extortionist dies, if it had at least four -1/-1 counters on it, you win the game. 4/4 This represents a kind of fun minigame where it gets more useless the further you get to winning, though really you're just going to hit it with Torment of Venom or something. The high cost and shitty stats stop it from being too good and probably relegate it to commander or something where everyone has Black Sun's Zenith. Kinda weird card but I kinda like it. {oddnanref - Pontiff of Perfect} You can condense the two abilities into something like "If you would lose the game due to having ten poison counters, you win the game instead." Infect contributes to the poison theme I suppose, but not on you and doesn't really gel with the other abilities otherwise. {Daij_Djan - Gloat over Misfortune} I'm in a mood to try something a bit more weird today: Perhaps not the best card for a Standard set, but a cool effect for multiplayer - though I imagine it would just amount to everyone hitting you instead of them. Miracle seems kind of random though, like it was just necessitated by the limit. {Zuty - Steal the Glory} Steal the Glory Instant Split Second If a spell or ability an opponent controls causes that player to win the game, you win the game this turn instead. Nothing personal kid... So it's hate against other alt-wincons? Interesting, though very expensive for how niche it is; it would be nice if it could be cheaper and less dramatic, though I see that would be hard with these limits. Name is nice, flavour text is memes though {Flo00 - One with the Void} One With the Void Enchantment Devoid At the beginning of your upkeep, exile the top card of your library. Then, if you own twenty or more cards in exile, you win the game. This seems like quite an upgrade on Mortal Combat to me. Sure there's a lot of cards that combo with it, but there's also a lot of simpler synergy like delve spells. Devoid is a little odd on a 3 color card but I see why. {monger - Genetic Pinnacle} Genetic Pinnacle Legendary Creature- Mutant Evolve At the beginning of your upkeep, you may move a +1/+1 counter from target creature you control onto Genetic Pinnacle. Then if Genetic Pinnacle has ten or more +1/+1 counters on it, you win the game. 1/1 With two different ways to get counters and only ten counters necessary to win, this is pretty good. I worry that it's too good with a critical mass of ways to place counters, since even if you fail to reach the necessary ten, you've still got just a big creature to beat with. The render looks very nice, though I can't tell if the similarly to Helix Pinnacle was intentional or subconscious. Well, I guess that was harsh judging but it was a harsh set of limits. Blood TombLegendary Land - Swamp Mountain (: Add or to your mana pool.)~ enters the battlefield tapped. When ~ enters the battlefield, you lose 2 life. Nonlegendary, nonbasic lands are Swamps. Other legendary lands are Mountains. Paying life isn't considered non-combat damage, right?
