Hi everyone, i'm new here and i have a question about package and file: when I want to edit the "package" file inside this there is:
package:
name:
version:
status:
file:
I know how to edit all, except the last "file", i.e:
file: A20150906T143810 bar.png
file: A20150906T143810 blank.png
file: A20150906T143810 blank2.png
file: A20160331T145352 boss1.png
file: A20160331T145444 boss2.png
file: A20160331T145432 boss3.png
file: A20160331T171620 boss4.png
file: A20160331T171832 boss5.png
How i find file number to be imported?

Sorry, I don't have a solution, just chiming in as I have been looking at that file in the hopes of de-installing several of the templates. For those that will answer, what does the package file actually do. I know nothing has to be entered into it for mse to load a template (I've never installed my own templates). But I know if I remove the file mse stops working. It appears to be a simple list of files, with the other information. If we remove the file lists would it still work?
Obviously it compares to something what does the file compare to.
And in short how do I de-install templates that have been installed.

Uninstall? Hahahahahaha. It's called "delete the relevant folders".

LOL, Yeah that works for everything except the Magic templates which are the ones I want to remove, some of them weren't even listed in the package file and I could remove them. The remaining ones removing the folders and the entries from the package file just means that MSE won't load, I've been toying with starting over with the minimum install and then loading in the other templates I want to work on. It's mostly a pain to scroll through the nine thousand, nine-hundred and ninety nine different magic folders to get to what I'm working on. My luck I'm trying the one thing no-one else ever thought was relevant.

Hi everyone, i'm new here and i have a question about package and file: when I want to edit the "package" file inside this there is: Well I got my problem fixed and I thought I'd share what I learned with you. It appears as if the package file is simply a record. MSE doesn't need to access it to access the templates (which is what I thought). Therefore editing it would appear to be superflous. Somewhere MSE does keep a record of certain aspects, from what I found my copy was jacked anyways, my problem apparently is that it loaded one of the language files into the the magic.mse-game folder. I still don't know how to uninstall the languages but I started with a clean copy (it didn't even have a package file), and I'm off to the races. That doesn't directly answer the original op question but hopefully it helps.
