I apologize if this is discussed elsewhere, I looked and couldn't find anything.
I designed a 100 card Commander MTG deck based on Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy with about 10 tokens and emblems. As I was designing it, test pages printed fine. 9 up with either space between cards or no space. I have a toner cartridge printer, so these were all grey scale, which is fine for prototype purposes.
I finished the set and printed it out. Sleeved it with MTG lands for card strength to play. After a few tests and tweaks I bought a color printer, but had an issue setting it up. So I went to a friends to print the color final versions. I thought it would take 5 minutes to print. But my print entire set resulted in 12 sheets with one random card from each "page of 9" in the top left. I tried repeatedly with no success. I made the best of it and simply printed one at a time rotating the paper in the feed to get one on each corner to minimize paper waste. My friend had said their printer had been acting up recently. I attributed it to that.
Now I have just finished designing a new 100 card deck with 15 tokens. Trying to print out the set on my toner printer is doing the same thing. I say print whole set and get 12 pages with one random card per page. I went back and tried doing the print selected cards and just did six. Still got one random card. Tried selected cards with nine and got one random card. Rebooted the program with same results.
I exported the set, but now have 115 individual png files that aren't properly set up to print together on a page 9 up.
I tried exporting (or saving) as a PDF file and that file is just 12 pages with one card in the top corner.
I am absolutely stymied as to what has happened to make printing no longer viable. I hope someone sees this and can help.
