(Explanation of why I am asking the same question twice, If this doesn't concern you, please disregard.)
I'd like to get this thread started by sharing that I was quite young and socially inept when I began this hobby. As a result, when I received instructions that I didn't fully understand, I gave up without seeking further clarification.
But I still have the same problem and being older and tired, I am back to ask the same question in further detail.
Here is the problem.
I have a keyword called burn.
Keyword Showcase/Example:
Matches:Burn
This deals noncombat damage to creatures and players in the form of burn counters, Counters put on permanents this way stop existing at the beginning of the next untap step.
it makes counters and I have a separate keyword explaining this
Keyword Showcase/Example:
Matches:Burn Counters
Matches:Burn Counter
At the beginning of your end step, If a {if has_pt() then "creature" else "permanent"} you control has a burn counter, remove one. Then if it was a creature, deal 1 damage to that creature for each remaining counter. Whenever a burn counter is removed, the permanent it was on deals 1 damage to its controller.
They conflict with Burn always being displayed rather than burn counters

Can someone suggest a fix?

I have implemented the first solution suggested by GenevensiS, it has not fixed the problem.
