So I recently wanted to make a pure black skeleton deck and being new to MTG I didn't know how hard it would be. Somewhere along I thought of just some neat card ideas and I wanted to share them and get other people's opinions. There's 3
Lord of Bones- legendary skeleton creature- 4 basic, 2 black- 7/1- Skeletons have menace, if a creature dies pay 1 black to summon a 1/1 skeleton creature, if a skeleton deals damage to a source inflict 1 damage to target creature, player, or plane walker.
Lady of Bones- Skeleton creature- 1black, 3 basic- 2/4- Skeletons have haste, tap to sacrifice a creature to summon X Skeletons, X equals that creatures toughness
Wall of Bones- skeleton creature-1 black, 2 basic- 0/4- Defender, death touch, this card gets a +1/+1 each time a skeleton creature dies. If this creature leaves the battlefield summon X 1/1 skeleton tokens, X equals the number of +1/+1 counters it has, tap to sacrifice this creature
I've play around with mana cost and power/toughness on these but don't know enough on the subject. I just went with what felt right. What i really want to know is y'alls opinions on the effects. Are they trash? To overpowered? Or somewhere in between Thanks again!!!

Lord of Bones
Pretty powerful card, but lacks coherence to be honest. Paying to create a skeleton token for each creature that dies seems pretty reasonnable, but I don't see how dealing 1 damage to target creature, player or planeswalker makes sense flavor-wise. In MTG, a "lord" is also a slang term for creatures that give +1/+1 to every creatures of the same type you control. A good example of this would be Valiant Veteran. It's just a suggestion but I would go for this if I were to call my card " Lord of Bones"... Lady of BonesFirst ability is okay, second ability is pretty good, but I still don't see how these would go together in the same card. Wall of BonesAt first, deathtouch for a 0/4 didn't make much sense to me, but the +1/+1 counter for each skeletons that died makes sense. This might be your best card flavor-wise. But I think this ability is a bit too OP for a creature that costs only . Plus, the fact that it gets a +1/+1 counter each time a skeleton dies seems too strong. If I were you, I would do something along the lines of : Because having a lot of skeletons-making creatures in your deck, this card would be very strong very quickly. Definitely needs balancing Overall, good set of abilities (a bit too strong imo) but not that good flavor-wise, except for the Wall of Bones.
