Good morning everyone!
I open this thread to ask for information from anyone who would be kind enough to answer me.
I'm creating my own set using the M15-Altered template and I would like to know if there is the possibility of changing the automatic numbering of the cards, so that it does not follow the alphabetical order but rather the type of card (for example in sequence: artifacts, creatures, enchantments, instants, planeswalkers, sorceries, etc.). Is it necessary to create/edit a script? How can I do? Thank you!

This is the discussion that permitted me to introduce such numbering system... tbh since that, the code has evolved a lot.

But it should give you an idea how to do it.

For my own templates, I made it with integrating it in my own template by creating a proper script file.

Sidenote: I plan to eventually share this work... I finished normal cards, land cards, saga cards, class cards, planewalkers cards (until 5 abilities)... now working on DFC and maybe at final I could create also battle cards.

example (at the end of the card - format used is Letter for type - number - Set code - year of creation
