Theros is a pretty short-lived-memory sort of plane or so I hear. With the new worshipping of angels, there's bound to be some new angelic additions to the pantheon thanks to the properties of Nyx. That being said, with the mixture of these new beliefs and the legend of Elspeth herself, the idea of a goddess, an angel, born of nyx in her own image is far from out of the question. Perhaps even Heliod himself would start to mix into her with the concept of justice under both domains, and the light being so easily associated with the Sun. His actions as well, to go against all the other gods, and Elspeth's actual feat of taking one down herself. The emergence of something resembling a monotheistic trend, the new goddess of justice becoming ironically slightly power hungry, but moreso seeing it as her mission to punish gods who wronged the people - and very little needed to justify a "wronging" in her eyes, even one worthy of annihilation.

There would be other gods, perhaps one bound to more technology and progress in blue, and maybe a new god of death with a more phyrexian sort of appearance due to the collective trauma of the invasion.

Welp, I'm a moron. I was originally going to do a Theros thing where people forgot the gods were real and that the card in question was a demigod who doesn't know he's a demigod — sort of like Percy Jackson — but then I remembered what happens to gods on Theros when people stop believing in them: they stop existing. So a demigod would likely either cease to exist too or simply lose all his power.

I guess I'll do Ikoria, then? In a very Pacific Rim-sounding scenario, humans eventually start building Kamigawa-esque mechs to better fight against the plane's monsters.

Thousands of years later, way after the Approach of the Second Sun *Incident*, all the remains and proofs of the worship of the God-Pharoah are vanished beneath the sand while the decendents of the survivors thrived and developed their past with their newfound faiths. Then, the re-discovering of the Dark Tombs happened. And the ancient evil never sleeps...

The year is 60XX and the cycle of war between the guilds has ground to a halt. A group of 10 individuals called the Conglomerate have turned the foundations of Ravnica into little more than a stageplay to ensure they always stay in power. Messages read by Dimir spies end with their identities being revealed in public scandals. Sects of the Selesnya are mysteriously guided to join unheard of guildless cults and never rejoin the fold. Inventions created by the Izzet are confiscated and seen as part of the drone hitmen blackailing them the next day.

Among this dying system, there are whispers of those that remember the old ways and seek to dethrone these shadowy figures and restore the natural flow of the guilds. They go by a class of citizen banned in modern Conglomerate society for over a century...

Ixalan, a good couple million years into the future, the world has been wiped by a vulcano inside of an asteroid, and this time, the non-human primates are taking over. Scientists are primitively puzzling together the fate of the old inhabitants.

Some crazy inventors fiddled too much with the aether current and caused a disastrous event which basically twisted the plane into an destructive aether-storm, destroyed a bunch of everything and made all of their "old" machinery useless.
Now the survivor's have to deal with this new "aetherless" envirement, the still existing remnants of this event and try to "fix" it as best as possible to not casue the whole planet to get devoured by the aether.

"Long may she reign!" So shouted the masses. Little did they know...

Conspiracy 1200+
With the coronation of the new Queen, the plane of Fiora entered a new golden age. By her hand, the invaders from the multiverse were repelled, gaining her the loyalty of the populace. She would go on to amass more power for herself, ultimately abolishing the council altogether and claiming absolute uncontested rule over Paliano. Outdated and unjust laws alike were swept away like cobwebs, reinvigorating trade and commerce even as political enemies dropped like flies. It was a new age of invention and wonder even as Marchesa's grip tightened ever further.

More than a thousand years later, Paliano has stagnated. Long has the queen reigned, her grasp over the city never loosening for a moment. Even death itself proved to be little more than a minor hiccup. New technologies are often banned within Paliano's range of influence. Though the city and villages are as bustling as ever, it has become a place unmoored in time where little changes and nothing advances.
