Help, MSE won't load images.

Since the discord server had no replies/answers, hopefully the forums has some. I am very new to MSE, and I am encountering a problem regarding the use of custom images. For some reason I am not aware of, whenever I try to "double click to load an image" for my cards, I am unable to load any image. The file manager would pop up, I am able to select the image I want through the file manager, but when it comes to confirming my selection nothing would happen afterwards. Possible bug? Maybe I did something wrong? I am not sure, any help would be very much appreciated at this point. Thank you in advance.
