Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of each week, a winner will be determined by forum poll. The winner's card will be rendered and featured on the Welcome page, and the winner decides the challenge for the next week's Contest! Here we go, competitors: our two-hundred and eighteenth challenge!
The winner of the "Music to My Ears" poll was kinotherapy with... And the challenge issued by our winner was... Battlebond is now fully spoiled, the first ever set designed around the Two-Headed Giant format. With that in mind, design a card that shines in 2HG (without being overpowered in other formats, of course). Feel free to use any mechanics from the new set, such as Assist or Support, though don't feel obliged to. You may even design two " Partner with" cards as your entry (or use a similar concept requiring a pair of cards as your entry. ~Daij_Djan).
Additionally, please try to keep your entry edits all in one post - if you need to change it you can put your old entry in a spoiler marked "Old entry" and leave the newest rendition to be seen. My card for 2HG. I love parley and the risky chance in multiplayer, win big or miss. It's also hilarious in large Commander games. Also you could execute an opponent with it and cash them out.  |

Just because the art is so great it makes me want to make a frame just for it. However, I have no idea where to start.  {Mythical Rules}
205.4. Supertypes
205.4a A card can also have one or more supertypes. These are printed directly before its card
types. The supertypes are basic, legendary, mythical, ongoing, snow, and world.
205.4X Any permanent with the supertype “mythical” is subject to the state-based action for
mythical permanents. This is also known as the "Mythical rule" (See rule 704.5y)
704.5y If a team controls two or more mythical permanents with the same name, that team chooses one of them, and the rest are put into their owners’ graveyards. This is called the “mythical rule.”
I know, there might be confusion between the rarity and the supertype. I could not find much in terms of words that could convey the meaning without touching the mythic and similar words. If there are any suggestions for other words I will take them, specially if the Mythic-Mythical thing becomes confusing.
This was a natural extension of Legendary but for teams. Mythical creatures work as legendary creatures when there is only one person in the team.
Mythical Creatures cannot be your commander as stated on rules 903.1–903.3 unless stated on the card itself.

spazlaz: Repeat doesn't actually do anything on its own, other than raise storm count. That's cute & all, but a split card is supposed to make players want to cast either half, by both halves being good enough to cast on their own. Plus, your card could be a regular, non-split, non-fuse card just fine. There's no rule against off-color replicate costs. In fact, R&D actually explored this avenue while testing replicate, they just decided to stick to it being the same as the mana cost the first time around in order to reduce complexity.

Bolas' Machinations    Sorcery  For each player, choose friend or foe. Each friend returns a creature card from their graveyard to their hand, draws three cards, and gains 5 life. Each foe sacrifices a creature they control, discards three cards, and loses 5 life. |

Each other player discards two cards. (You may target the same player with any number of these effects.)In death, his final wishes were to bestow destruction on all but his beloved.I'll probably post a render later.

Guess I'll go with a slightly updated card for a concept I recently came up with for another contest:
Unity Rules: - Similar to Comp. Rule 702.101a, the teammate of the player casting a split card with Unity has to decide whether to cast the card's other half right as the spell is being cast before putting it on the stack. The teammate has to pay the other half's cost(s). The resulting spell is a united split spell.
- Similar to Comp. Rule 702.101b, a united split spell has the combined characteristics of its two halves.
- Similar to Comp. Rule 702.101c, the total cost of a unitsed split spell includes the mana cost of each half
- Compared to Comp. Rule 702.101d, as a united split spell resolves, the player that casted the left half of the spell follows the instructions of the left half and then their teammater follows the instructions of the right half.

Surpirsed we didn't see any Surge in Battlebond, not a lot remember Oath the Gatewatch had a bunch of stuff for 2HG  Little hard to read on the card, but I'm pretty sure the artist I found is Eduardo Pena. |
