Re Daij and Affinity - Not saying I think Affinity should be deciduous but a decent chunk of cards that meet its wording requirements have been printed in the last few years. There's a few in that search that obviously don't but between those and random affinity designs like Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge someone at WoTC clearly wants to see it back on a more regular basis. Re Funny writing question - Halo, Melira, some combination of both and terrible writing, most likely. And don't forget the Master Emerald & Knuckles!

Master Emerald & Knuckles? Are you saying that there's gonna be a Sonic Universes Beyond soon? What insider info do you have?

You set your expectations too low kiddo...think NiGHTS! Think Project Hammer! Think beating Mega Man and Bass!
I feel like people actually have done that last one though.
With one arm! No, forget that. ONE FINGER!

@ ZephyrPhantom: Interesting, big thanks for the heads-up What are your predictions for how Wizards is gonna un-fuck all the compleated &/or baleeted 'walkers? A null answer (they aren't) is fine, too. Well, what can I say? I'm a child of the 80s. I've seen Voyager. I know how this goes. You take a Borg/Phyrexian drone, deaktivate most of the dangerous mechanical bodyparts, then remove them – and you'll end up with what's considered by many to be (one of) the most sexy character(s) of the entire franchise. The fan artists will need to work extra hours to draw all the „sexy Jace“ fanart.. Honest response: I hope they don't get cured – I want phyresis to have consequences. And most importantly: Please no wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey instant fix..

If I had to go with a sensible ending I see WoTC being willing to go with I feel like it'd be straightforward enough to kill the Praetors and stop Realmbreaker, but the compleated PWs end up as the new agents of Phyrexia with their own goals. It'd be a good foil to how the multiverse will presumably remain more connected from here on out - the new '3rd' generation of Legendaries and regular PWs is more interconnected, and (some of) the old '2nd' generation of walkers is now the evil force of the past acting all alone and with personal vices like they did on their debuts.

Welp, looks like we lost foureyesisafish again, so here's my answer: So, when last we heard from Chandra, she was planning on taking the fight to New Phyrexia, with Wrenn and Seven in tow. Wrenn mentioned that she could bring Teferi back from whatever time- comasnarl he's currenly stuck in. This presents us with at least two possibilities: 1) Teferi can wibbly-wobbly everything away, however far back the writers wish. Is it worth releasing Nicky B. in order to completely wipe away the stench of wiseman? Possibly. I mean, I love Rat as much as the next person, but they're not enough of an argument against baleeting that whole fiasco. #DecidedlyGodawful Also, it's Nicky B. He'd already have several plans for dealing with the Phyrexians, some already in place and running. Also also, is going back to Khans of Tarkir going too far? Mebbe not. I mean, we'd get back the totally awesome Khans reality, all three Eldrazi Titans would still be alive and free, and fucking eugene would still be dead. AbsoluteWin.meme The Thre Titans could also be the best way to completely eliminate the Phyrexian threat forever, and (this is my own fan theory here) were already doing that to every plane they've visited of their own volition, like a hyperspecialized predator. The "bismuth" and "bone" renders the land itself completely immune to phyresis, and the body-warping madness wrought by Big Momma Em (#TwistMeMommy) drives the infection out of the body as its "madness" clears away the mind of Phyrexia's taint (and if you've seen Phyrexia's taint, you know it ain't pretty! #BadAnatomyJokes). More and more, I'm coming to realize that The Gatewatch aren't a bad Avengers snowclone, but a worse in all possible ways Legends of Tomorrow: whereas the Legends sometimes screw things up for the better, every single Gatewatch success only makes things worse for the entire Multiverse. Hmmm, mebbe Elesh Norn has the right idea here... 2) Teferi tries and fails to undo the timeline, again, and falls back into the coma, againbecause he's fucking useless as a character, and consistently oppressively OP as a game piece.* Leaving Chandra and Wrenn to form a Multiverse-spanning harem of Action Bitches who GET SHIT DONE! Wrenn bonds with The Seedcore, and the raging inferno contained within her heart burns away the Phyrexian contamination from within. While this is happening, Chandra is doing some burning from within of her own with Nissa ; thanks to their frequent prior bouts of heatplay[/url], Chandra has had MUCH practice bringing her girlfriend to the brink and back. #Edging [/s] (Hmm, mebbe I should've saved this post for tomorrow, it's getting just a little bit Shitposty.). Chandra manages to bring her girlfriend back into the fold, and together they form a Multiverse-spanning harem of Action Bitches who GET SHIT DONE!go off to confront Nightmareverse Sultai HospitalPhyrexia General, after easily dispatching Elesh Norn. Enjoying a mental link stronger than any they could've had before Compleation, Jace and Vraska politely decline, saying they prefer the closeness they now share, not just finishing each other sentences (like a total that couple), but also each others' thoughts. Leaving the two other lovebirds to go mindfuck each other in the best ways possible for them, our two main lovebirds negotiate peaceful Multiversal/Phyrexian coexistence with Urabrosk, then planeswalk away to form a Multiverse-spanning harem of Action Bitches who GET SHIT DONE! I'M SICK OF PRETENDING THIS ISN'T WHAT I WANT TO REALLY HAPPEN! STRIKETHROUGH TEXT BE DAMNED! FIRST ACQUISITION TO THE HOLY POLYCULE: HAL AND ALENA!!!
Oh, and also, they go and tell Sorin about Nahiri, leaving him a puddle of confused emotions and unrealized romantic feeling towards what might once have been, but now can never be (the broody, besotted bastard).
Welp, that's our Final Episode of the First Season of The MageLaughlin Group. I'd like to thank our esteemed Panel (those that stuck around, anyway), Daij_Djan & ZephyrPhantom , cast best buy and their accurséd geek squad into the fiery pits of Mordor from whence they came, and for one last time of the Season, invite the remaining Panel members to say their final thoughts and goodbyes. *Honestly, you could have something like: Teferi, Firin' His Lazor Legendary Planeswalker--Teferi : You gain 1 life. ::L-100::: Your opponents never existed. and people'd STILL find a way to make him break a format!

Welp, here it is, the Final Question of the Season, from me to all of you: What are your predictions for how Wizards is gonna un-fuck all the compleated &/or baleeted 'walkers? A null answer (they aren't) is fine, too.
I'm giving the null answer here. Given how many of these characters are A. iconic and B. very old (with three of them dating back to the origin of walker cards themselves), this feels like it's meant to be a passing of the torch from one generation to the next. And given how two compleated walkers have already gotten the regular axe I wouldn't put it past Wizards to kill the rest off.

Sorry for the late reply. I was trying to come up with a clever / deep / silly / whatever final post for this season – but I'm not really that creative right now it seems so this didn't go well But first, to quickly adress two things: SO, ABOUT THAT SENSIBLE ENDING.....!HAHAHAHA! All this hype of compleated planeswalkers for this? Might as well give them red shirts at this rate! The redshirts are sold out out to Urabrask, probably... Just very quickly skimmed through the story – they dead? Not very subtle indeed – but at the very least consequences, so I won't judge them too hard about this.. Well..
Anyway, with this in mind: This was a fun one despite the long break – and most definitely an interesting season as a whole See you soon TM, everyone!

Kinda hard to do when he's still stuck in that coma. And on that note, we end the First Season of The MageLaughlin Group. We'll be taking a week or so off between now and s2e1, so I hope you'll all join us for that. For now, from all of us in The Group, this is me, saying-- Kels, Fight Fixer: WHICH ONE OF YOU DOUBLE-FUCKS STRANDED ME IN THE THE EON FOG?!!?! Oh shit! With Teferi out of commission, the bitch was able to make her way back to our studio! RUUUUNNN!!!
