I really liked challenge #444 since it offered a small glimpse into our community being spread all around the world – so after some pondering I decided to push a bit further in that regard. Since this challenge will last till 2023 anyway, design a card based around some sort of tradition / activity / similar from your country or maybe just you personally concerning New Year's Eve or Day. (Likewise if you live in a country where the new year starts on a different date, feel free to adapt accordingly

Soba is easy to cook so many of us follow the custom to end their turn with soba.

- {Explanation}I've been thinking hard to find something for this challenge, that I would be happy with. My friends and I don't really have any special new years traditions, so I've been racking my brain to come up with something more genreal for Denmark. This is what I came up with, that felt original enough that I would allow myself to post it.
I tried to see if I could get "Gud bevare Danmark", that she always ends her speech with, into the flavour text, but sadly it ended up being too wordy for any flavour text.
