Hi all, I was CJOLL4 on the old forum and I just recently got back into MTG. I've signed up over on the Battle Boards but I can't get any of the symbols to work.

There is no smileys button, there is no "preferred editor" in my profile settings, and using the colons doesn't do anything. What am I missing?

Just to test:

should be the smileys button, if you're not seeing that something is quite odd. Are you doing this from mobile or a computer? Have you tried this in a different web browser?

The problem is indeed that you're using a mobile device apparently (at least this post here is labeled as such) - and the forum's mobile version is rather limited (sadly we cannot edit it) and in particular does not support the custom smilies we're using for our Magic symbols.

If you change the view of the forum to its desktop version (either using your browser of the button on the bottom right), everything should work just fine.
